    You should pre fill the filter housing with oil before starting it, you want that filter fully saturated.
    Do NOT change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles, youll be losing any debris from your friction plates that is needed to create the apropriate friction. Every 60k miles is what you want to shoot for

    What size extension did you use for the oil filter drain plug?

  •  Рік тому

    Why don’t you out back in exactly the amount you took out ? Most of you over fill it and drained it again and call it ovetflow ?

    I did bleeding break fluid for my camry 2021 after job done i see leaking a small amont of fluid arround three bleeders screws i try to loose it and tight again but still i see the leaking just when i but my figure on screw not droping and the level in master is same no can you advice (thread sealant or after market screw )also the break padel feel spongy now

    • @jackhofalot6705
      @jackhofalot6705 6 місяців тому

      you have gotten air into the system. Probably from the leak of the bleed screw, as you mentioned.
      It is very problematic on cars that the screw will leak once it is loosen.
      Thread sealant will not work as the fluid is so corrosive.

    Aren't you supposed to pre-fill the Oil Filter with your new Motor Oil before putting it back on???

    • @AliMECH
      @AliMECH  8 місяців тому

      No need to, on these small engines, the oil pump will fill it in a second

  • @XxChuyoxX
    @XxChuyoxX 6 місяців тому

    Good video but every 30k miles seems excessive. You can change the transmission fluid too often. It's not like engine oil.

      You just have to have a few specialized tools. They’re worth investing in if you own this vehicle versus the stealership/shady mechanics. It’s really not that difficult though. And plenty of information at your fingertips.
