I have switched to using Serato in my Nightclub purely because the sound quality on a big sound system is way ahead of VDJ, but for features and user friendlyness...VDJ is better in my opinion
@SuperDjwreck I'm using an HP EliteBook 6930p - 2.40ghz Core 2 Duo, 4 Gigs Ram running Windows 7... Music video Mixing as Amazing on the NS7...No jerks, Freezes and I can use my graffics accelrator to enhance transitions and effects
Nice! Is this possible on Mixtrack Pro with Traktor Pro ? :))) I don't have enough money to buy the NS7 but i have to buy Numark Mixtrack Pro... :) or, i can rob a bank and buy Technicks MK21200 :)))))
Hi There... I'v played on everything, and the NS7 is brilliant...for a bedroom. It's a awesome piece of kit, the more time you spend with it the more creative you can be during sets, and unlike other controllers, it is very hard wearing and suitable for dj's playing any genre, BUT IT"S FUCKING HEAVY! Before I sold it, i was playing about 4 different clubs on a regular basis, and this thing in a flight case is 24kg's.. and not very practical in small dj boxes. Check out my other vid - Numark V7
The Pioneers are great, I have a set in my clubs Dj box, with 1 Numark V7 next to it. The Pioneer still does not have the feel of real vinyl... The Numark does.
I wanna buy the new NS7 II with those bitchin' Akai pads... but I want to use Traktor, not Serato. I'm on AMD and Serato hates AMD.... Traktor is totally fine with AMD. Help me out and go drop some comments on the Native Instruments forums. Also check out the "Project NS7" group on Facebook. See Quartz' videos. He got -super close- to making the NS7 work damn near perfect in Traktor. Butter smooth scratches, actual kickback sensation, all of that...
Have the NS7 and Pioneer DVJs ... the DVJs are now gathering dust in the wardrobe - NS7 feels so way more natural seeing I started on Vinyl
This is some of the best scratching ive seen in my life!
The Samples came with the controller on the install disk... But in the good old days they were called Battle Waxes!
Yeah, the sample file is located directly on the install disk. I believe the file is called "Serato Scratch Sentence.wav"
Awesome man, I will get to where you're at soon, with practice!
Good work man. You know what you're doing.

The V7 is better purely because it can be transported and fitted into any club dj box.
