I have only flown twice, in the 70's, and call me a coward but I have never flown since, nor will I 😟 I feel real grief when I hear about loss of life due to aircraft crashes, and my heart goes out to relatives and friends 💔
"Mr. PlayItSafe, Was afraid to fly... He packed his suitcase, and kissed his kids goodbye. ...he waited his whole damn life, to take that flight, And as the plane crashed down, He thought, 'Well isn't this nice?'" -- Alannis Morissette, "Ironic"
That poor man who lost his wife & 2 children & they wouldn't give a simple "we're sorry", how disgraceful. A man with nothing to lose is dangerous & he proved that. So many people were failed. RIP to all the souls lost🙏🕊
I agree his loss was beyond tragic. However the apology should have come from the owners of the airline, and not necessarily from an overworked and traumatised air traffic controller. He's regarded as a hero in his home town, but sadly murder is never heroic 💔
I wish I could remember the name of the movie about TWA 800. It was a thriller concerning the CIA. It's made almost like a documentary. Basically, the CIA blew up the flight to cover its tracks for involvement in other activities. Of course, they knew what to use so explosive residue wouldn't be found. How do you explain so many people talking about seeing a light going towards the plane?
With the Zurich crash, I don't understand why the pilot didn't tell the controller that the plane system already gave them instruction so that he can communicate with the other plane to confirm its instructions
737-400 sometimes with all the technology available, the obvious is missed, a visual observation of the engines through the windows, which in this case would have revealed the damage.
I got off a plane 2 hours before the first tower was hit. I've only been back to that country once since (I'm scared to travel in a police state)...but I have no problem with flying, notwithstanding the carbon emissions
It was a joke going around in the 1980's if you fly from Athens airport, get your duty free bottle of scotch, carton of cigarettes and 6 hand grenades, to carry onboard your flight. The "security" was laughable and the airlines just did not care. Look at Lockerbie, it was the same method as the Air India flight 3 YEARS EARLIER. It doesn't take that long to beef up your security unless it costs a lot of money......oh I get it. Sorry to bother everyone.
I was literally thinking about this episode in particular a day or two ago with the guy with the b0mb in his underwear i remember watching it when I was like 6,7,or 8 now I’m in my 20s crazy how this was uploaded 7days ago

That wouldn't never justify murder how come he served only 3 years

"It Can Only be Attributable… to Human Error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error." - HAL 9000...
yeah...there's nothing that people do consistently wrong
The narrator is good, the problem is it lacks the indepth analysis. I couldn't manage to finish
It's because these are multiple cases, they all have their own fulllength episodes
Yeah search each flight individually

It's indeed true that airplanes are vulnerable to terrorist attacks
People in the Middle East are terrorized by US bombs.. terrorism begets terrorism
Awesome comment

PanAm was even worse because they were literally told that a terrorist attack was imminent

You can still take liquids onboard just not through security.
It's great financial windfall for the airside shops.. cause they know you got to buy everything again
@ThrasherGnar yes... why can you buy bottles from duty free before boarding or drinks from the shops in departures ... take you dont fly at all.
The plane hijacks end at around 45mins

Learn a thing or two about timing. Maybe it isn’t great to post something like this right before 9/11..?
🤣😂
It's just a day, calm down. Yanks don't really treat November 11 with any respect or sanctity anyways.
