You’re making me want to revisit the Amazing Spider-Man movies! It’s hard not to get choked up when Uncle Ben passes away in any live action iteration. This one does hit the feels even though it’s been years (probably 4-5) since I’ve seen this movie. Man ya killed it with this but what’s new! Great stuff as always 😎
Right? It’s given me a new out look on these films. When my buddy chose these I thought meh.. but there’s some pretty amazing character scenes in this movie. Pretty sure it’s been even since the theater when I saw this too. Really appreciate ya man. This was a new kind of video that was fun to make. So I’m glad people like ya self enjoyed. Maybe we’ll do more like this essay stuff again!
Ben is crucial to who Spider-Man is. This scenes depicted that beautifully. And I also like that it stands on its two feet and it has a different feel than Raimi’s trilogy. I love this initiative. Congrats!
The Amazing Spiderman does a great job at making this so much more relatable. How many times have we argued with our parents growing up? What if one of those times this happened? Makes it more real to me. Is it my favorite? No but it helped me put myself in Pete’s shoes more and watching this has made my appreciate it more.

Unpopular opinion: I prefer the version of the "Great power/great responsibility" line in the Amazing Spider-Man to the catchier version in the Reimi films. It sounds like something a real person would say, rather than a catchy slogan said by a narrator. Both lines are great, I just prefer the TASM version.
Before this video I would have said you were cray. But after watching this I’ve realized how much more relatable it is. More real and raw. Much easier to put ourselves in Peters shoes here imo. There are good things to both, I like that they are their own thing.

The Tobey Maguire film will always be my favorite but I enjoyed this one too. The Uncle Ben storyline is what's missing from the Tom Holland Spiderman. You can't replace that with Tony Stark. That was a mistake. For a guy that spends so little time in the comics, Uncle Ben is one of the most influential characters in comic history.

Ya know I completely agree. But as time has gone I wonder if Marvel is not allowed to use an Uncle Ben character in their movies due to the deal made with Sony. Cuz at this point sure its a mistake but could maybe be blatant. Either way there is no replacing Uncle Ben.
@@NerdyBlurbTV Maybe. The legalities involved have often caused problems. I remember back in the 80's watching a Fantastic Four cartoon where the Human Torch was replaced with Herbie the robot! I found out later it had to do with legal issues and they couldn't use the character. Weird.

This is really awesome!! I’ve never really been a huge fan of TASM but this video changed my mind. I still think the Tobey Maguire one is better, but the two are much closer in my mind now.

Yo I thought that too. But this has made me step back for sure. I think the Lizard killed it for me. Not the worst villain but to be more real in this film but have that felt off to me. Definitely in need of a rewatch. Thanks for you man! Always love seein ya in that chat!
