    Ingredients:
    3/4 Cup Softened Butter
    3/4 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Sugar
    2 Eggs
    2 1/4 Teaspoons Rose Water
    1 1/2 Tablespoons Edible Dried Rose Petals (plus more for garnish)
    2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
    1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
    1/4 Teaspoon Salt
    2 Cups Powdered Sugar
    1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
    1/3 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
    Directions:
    1. In a mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and 3/4 teaspoon rose water. Stir in 1 1/2 Tablespoons rose petals.
    2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture; stir just until combined. Cover dough and chill at least 1 hour.
    3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/3 inch thickness. Cut out cookies using a 1 to 2 inch cookie cutters. Place cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake in a preheated oven at 400F for 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely on wire racks.
    4. In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon zest, heavy cream, and 1 1/2 Teaspoons rose water. If needed, at more cream, one teaspoon at a time, until you get your desired consistency. Dip the top of each cookie into the glaze, then top with lemon zest and dried rose petals.
