This video is exactly the type of review that should be pushed to top of the search results. Too many are AI voiced paid reviews where the "creator" has not even handled the razors - only received a paycheck and a script.. maybe an amazon review if you're lucky. Thank you for a REAL review.
Yes thank you, this review was a breath of fresh air and finally what I was looking for. A lot of weeds to wade through in seeking legitimate feedback on beard trimmers.
You're amazing and this video should be the most recommended video to anyone who's about to buy a good trimmer, I barely comment on any video but you really deserve it, Thanks a lot Man!
Probably the best video on the various clippers/trimmers. Got a Brio thanks to you! Maybe will upgrade to the Gamma+ Cyborg series in the future, but for now, this will do just fine.
Id like to add tvat Brio's customer service was really great. I had an issue with my Beardscape and they answered my email within 30 minutes and sent out a brand new replacement without hesitation.
I appreciate this video so much! I have been using cheap razors for an eternity and I wanted to make sure I was getting the best possible option for me when I upgraded. Your honesty couldn't be appreciated more
I have a gold magic clip and detailer and honestly they are amazing, I know they can be too much for just self cutting and not being a barber but they are worth it especially when you take care of them
Confirmed, the Norelco Philips Series 9000 mentioned in this video is the best from the all-in-one group of trimmers (small trimmers). I have all the "small trimmers" mentioned and indeed the Philips device has the best design in terms of "play" on the comb, and the integrated comb is metal which is a big plus. Wish I saw this video 2 trimmers ago,
Great review and exactly what I was looking for. I know you said you are bias on the Brio V2 but I have it narrowed down to that and the Phillips 9000 series. I want something that’s going to trim pretty tight but also still easy enough to trim when I keep a longer beard. Will either of these two suffice? I’m coming from a cheaper model Norelco with the adjustable wheel but it’s seen it’s better days
I've been using this video as my holy grail for beard trimmer research but can you give me a comforting confirmation that Brio is not paying you out? It just seems strange to me that such a small and unknown brand (at least to Europe) would make a trimmer that's supposedly so amazing..
Every link I am using in the description is an affiliate link, so technically I get a payout when somebody buys any of them. I wasn't paid by brio to make this video if that's what you're asking. The Brio has a good warranty I believe so if you tried it and it didn't work you could return it
Hey thanks, man. I just ordered the Brio v2 based on your recommendation using the link below. Looking forward to replacing my less-than-2 month-old Remington trimmer that stopped working already.
@@yusaidit5311I'm curious too, I think that's the one I'm going to get. Everyone on UA-cam praises them and as far as I know Brio doesn't do any sponsorships, so no one is being paid to say they're good.
@@Nookyriderv2o Hey I got a notification for your reply and I can give you my 2 cents: The Brio looked really appealing to me and I was really close to ordering one but while I was researching I was put off by how everything online seemed like marketing and sponsorships. Amazon reviews were mixed and the positive ones looked a bit dodgy, and I could hardly find a mention of it on beard forums online, or from people I know irl. So I opted for the Philips Multigroom 9000. It's honestly a bit overkill with all the attachments but does everything I need much better than my previous cheaper one and feels very premium. Again it could be that the Brio is straight up better and I was just suspicious for no reason but I'd say just be aware a lot of reviews are marketing fluff
@@yusaidit5311 i grabbed it and it was ok i guess but the attachments suck so i returned. Rather have quality magnetic attachments. Also it tugged on my beard, maybe i needed to oil them, but from what i hear ceramic just does that and others say it doesn't, basically steel just more reliable. I like the newer version of babylispro with replaceable battery, because that is what will likely fail long before the motor.
Buy a hair clipper. Beard trimmers are fine for the edges but lack the oomph to have a comfortable shave when tackling the bulk of the beard. This is especially true if your beard is thick and coarse.
For EU, Brio Beardscape is about 200 euro's, making it the most expensive of them all. would you still recommend it in that case? As a comparison, Gamma X Ergo 135 euro, Wahl magic clipper in combination with a trimmer is 170, alone is about 100 euro. The babyliss pro is 120 euro. So what is the best, when price is not an issue?
Will you do a review on the Philips OneBlade style of trimmers? I am interested in how solid the adjustable comb of the Philips OneBlade Pro 360 Face + Body is. Also it would be great if you could review body hair trimmers.
Handsome man like this, it don't really matter what kind of a trimmer or product he uses can't hurt his looks any. Keep up the good work a handsome face can sell anything.
Cant decide whether to go with x ergo or x evo. I have a thin patchy beard so i just mostly shape it and sometimes cut it to 3 mm all around. What would be the better option?
Gr8 and genuine review!🤘🦄 I will trim my beard, but also trim my head bald every week. With that in consideration, which one of Gamma and Babyliss cuts the shortest of shorts?

Probably will get the phillips cause I'm already familiar with the brand. I have the norelco which is decent but the guards are flimsy and the battery life is terrible. The bt99000 looks a lot better.

Who knows or even seriously cares!? Bring back triple headers and eggs! Common Norelco quit diddlin me! Beards are for kids!😅
BRIO batteries are trash. After a few months on the highest speed setting it only gets to 2nd or 3rd highest rpm. Way over priced. And yes the comb attachments are wonkie garbage.
Bought the brio after watching this. I like the content on this channel but the brio is a horrible beard trimmer. If you have a longer beard it is terrible for shaping.
