I just wanted to thank you. I had been eyeing a hobonichi cousin for a few years but couldn’t justify the price. I know all the layouts well after watching a ton of videos. So I took your idea and made my own hobonichi cousin using this book. A whooping 15 dollars unlike the 60 dollars from the hobonichi store and jet pens and all the other places. So one again thank you so much!!!!
Thank you, I was trying to figure out how you got your washi edges so straight! This is just so much fun, I am loving my fauxbonichi, and it really does help to use my crafty supplies and to try some new techniques. Enjoy your weekend Tracy :D
Thank you for watching and commenting :) I used to cut it with scissors, or even with scraping the scissors on the washi tape to cut it…but ripping it with a ruler…..was faster :)
So neat. Love the layout and the grid lines make it fairly easy. Have a safe and happy Easter if you celebrate it and week end if you don''t! TFS...Blessings...Bobbie
Bobbie Harrison Oh my I am late in replying, sorry about that Bobbie.Thank you and yes the gird lines make it so much easier. Hope you had a wonderful Easter as well.
Thanks Tracy. You make it look so easy! I found I needed more washi to give my book a little variety. Found some on eBay. Looking forward to how you do your pages.
you made my morning=)).. i love throwing the videos up on the tv=)).. i cant wait for your daily setup=)) then i wont have to screenshot and pause .. L O L..i love tracy=)))
So inspired by your beautiful pages...opposite of the perfection gene is the I can't draw a straight line even with a T-square gene (of which I am afflicted). I see how with a grid book I might have more luck and not have to make most of my lines into zentangles in order to cover them up...Thank you for sharing.
Love this set up, I just received my MiquelRuis notebook from the U.S and dying to decorate it but with no supplies of washi tape, stickers etc, where do you get your pretty washi tape and number stickers from? Can you change the layout if you don't want to have a diary page every day? tfs, Susan :)
Susan Fraser Hi Susan :)I am excited for you to start your book :) I mostly get my washi tape from the dollar store or any store that has it…if its not too pricey. For the numbers…I use a stamp, but many just write them in. Stickers I have been collecting for ever….check out children's sections in stores. Yes you can change the layout any way you want to….its your book….now go and have fun with it :)
I use washi tape to adhere my pages together. I share that in my next video "Daily Fauxbonichi Set Up" I am going to do this throughout the entire book, but only a month at a time as I like to have the same colour for that month.

Tracy, I just love this! It actually looks relaxing to do. You are a bit of an expert at it, LOL. Thanks so much for sharing this video. xo Melissa
Hi Melissa :)
So happy to hear from you :)
It is relaxing and I am learning to let go of my inner perfectionist with this book :)
Ms . Tracy
Where did you get your stamps, I love the ones that you have showed so far. Love your Fauxbonichi so pretty. You are awesome.
Wow, thank you Aleeah :)
I pick up most of my stamps when we go away on our little trips.
But the Unity stamps I pick up from the Unity site :)
Thank you! I like your setup and you answered all of my questions! 😊❤
Lisa Gray So happy my video helped you out Lisa :)
Can you tell me where you got your stickers in the tin, they look like they would really be a timesaver even if they were a bit costly.
+letellier1990 I picked them up at Typo in Mall of America last year.
Tracy do you have a link to where to purchase the book?
I purchased mine on Amazon.
I purchased mine from Barnes and Noble when I was in the USA. But like Suzanne mentioned try Amazon :)

Excellent!! Did you say that you put 2 pages together?? Do you washi them together? Is it throughout the entire book or just for the monthly pages??
I use washi tape to adhere my pages together.
I share that in my next video "Daily Fauxbonichi Set Up"
I am going to do this throughout the entire book, but only a month at a time as I like to have the same colour for that month.
