What am I missing? I have rolls of 2006 D nickels, and I can see the full steps on many of them. One of the best ones is a darker color than the others. That is what got my attention.

it is true I have like 30 nickels with full steps and like 10 with full clear stepes all coins are in good condition..if is true lucky me 😁

I don't get this either, I have nickels older than this that have full steps and is in better shape than this coin shown in your video. So my question is...Do you have to have them graded by this PCGS in order to sell your coin for this kind of money? Thank you.

I found a couple of them in my abandoned room
I has to be an ms68 for it to be worth thousands... It's not enough with it just having the fs designation and the odds of finding a coin in such a high grade in your pocket... Are very slim if not impossible, even if the coin looks perfect, it's probably got some scratches you just haven't seen yet and is probably just another ms65 or 66... Just been honest

No, it's for sure Uncirculated. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated. It's not going to be MS 68 if it's not. That's almost the top grade. It goes to MS 70, but that's about impossible and there are usually only a handfull of MS 69's.

The 2009 was supposed to be the "big deal year" because of the very low mintage amounts (compared to other years). From that, now the "full steps" thing is just getting blown out of proportion.

I just found one in as good or better shape. I got it an several other nickels oldest. One 1992 full steps. And four more in the 90s from a hand roll in my local corner store. My 2nd nice find. Since I started 3 months ago.

Nope, they should be but most are not fully struck causing weak images or they get worn down. Crisp full steps of any year are worth keeping.
Well I'm confused about a 68 with all those scratches & dots!
Water dots and contact marks are normal on coins, scratches seen could be coming off the holder and can't tell just by the video if on the coin or not? As stated above by JBCOIINC most are not fully struck or they get worn down.
