Murphy is wise way beyond her years...so adorable! Grandpa is gruff, f but being 97, he has or appears to have all mental capabilities. I do hear the playfulness in his voice....I think he's darling. If we live to be that age, could we still react with playfulness or even communicate? As we age we lose more and more hormones....I recall how I felt after a complete hysterectomy...I lost my feeling of well being. It took me over a year to "adjust" to it. I believe your father in law does the best he can with what he has to deal with at his age. I absolutely love this video and would treasure it as I know you will. Thanks for letting me share your recipe..I'll give you all the credit and hopefully send some subs your way. Linda.
We're so glad to have captured the two of them together - for years (generations?) to come, family will be able to see it. Yes, Dad is doing well - in fact, he's planned a family vacation for next May!

He was a very colorful character! He passed away at 100 (and loved being on Chow Time - I think he made 4 appearances).
