- This video gives a pilot's view and experience in piloting a 1974 Cessna 310Q twin-engine airplane from transit cruise along the Georgia Coastline at 9,000 feet toward Vectors-To-Final (VTF) RNAV Z for Runway 28 at KSAV. This video format gives the complete experience in transition from cruise to approach to landing. Your comments and questions are welcomed and encouraged. The purpose of the video is to raise awareness of the general aviation flying community and demonstrate flying complex airplanes. Enjoy!!
This video may be the reason a teenager decides to be a pilot. I encourage kids to join the Civil Air Patrol it's a hidden gem. Not expensive. My 22 year old was a member. Now he maintains F16's fighters currently stationed in Italy and has visited over 5 countries in the last four years. Pass the word. Please keep posting you videos.
Greetings from Virginia
Thank you for the kind words and yes, that is part of the mission. To raise awareness of general aviation and careers in aviation. Thanks for watching and stay safe!!
👍✅ You put a lot of effort into filming, editing, doing overlays and explaining and it is appreciated!
Thank you and yes, very time consuming for an amatuer videoographer 🙂
Super appreciated
👏
@paratyshow agreed! Earned a new sub. 👍✅
bro that's a beautiful airplane. I noticed your calmness and professionalism you must be a commercial guy. Lots of money was invested in that machine just stunning .Keep up the wonderful work its very enjoying to watch you do that
*You're an inspiration to so many people. I will show this to my son, who wants to be a pilot when he grows up. May God bless you and all pilots as you navigate through the sky!* 🙏🏾 Thanks for sharing!
Well said Maam
Nice to see a fellow pilot flying such a well equipped 310. Very well executed sir on all fronts. This shows a nice balance of proper use of technology and piloting (stick/rudder) skills. A+
Always nice to see other brothers in the air. P.S. You make this look so easy!
Thanks for watching
Great flight! Keep those videos coming.
The soothing way I see him flying and explaining everything so calmly, produces delight and peace. Blessings
Sir, you are inspiring a new generation of potential pilots. I sent your link to a young man who has no idea what to do with his life and he has a college background. Thank you for this great video.
I think your fan base is going to be phenomenal over time. I'm not a pilot, but I play one on MSFS X. I love the aviation channels.
I'm grateful to you and other aviators who share their passion and promote aviation.
Decades ago i aspired to be a recreational private pilot..even took some lessons. I learned very quickly that I didn't have what it takes to competently fly an airplane of any type.
I love your channel , which I recently discovered and I'm now a fan and subscriber.
Good luck and blessings.
That was a blast thanks very much for a awesome ride. I'd fly anywhere with you ❤️🙏
Nicely done, Shipmate! Thanks for bringing us along.
I just love what you're doing I'm so so impressed
That's a sweet 310 you're driving on that beautiful day. You're one of the Top 3 YT pilots that I've watched. You're always so even keeled and calm as a cucumber. Thank you for sharing and uploading in 4K!
Thank you for the kind words. I am delighted that these videos are of use and enjoyable. Stay safe!!
He’s a good pilot
awesome thanx for being here
Fantastic. First timer viewer. Loved to see the delta from that height. Your landing was mad smooth.
Sweeet! Good to see a soul brother doing something besides rap, hip-hop and basketball! Guy is a pro. Happy Holidays, and thanks for the lift. I think I can make it into town from here. Have a great day!
Thanks for watching and keep pressing forward!! Cheers!!
@@billinga As we used to say in the Navy, man, you got your s*** together! If you ever have the time, it would be great if you could get around to schools a couple o few times a year and tell your story - to black boys, they really need it, not that it would do any good, but you show there are avenues. The "system" would never want them to know you even exist, so be cool!
What? Smh.
Beautiful, haven't seen Savannah from above. Thank u Sir, happy flying 😊
Great plane. Great panel. Great pilot. Great flight!
First time on board with you enjoy every moment of the ride.
Thank for the ride along. Love the instructions as your flying along; nicely done!
Made my day seeing you.
I'm retired...... this brings back warm memories! Thank you for your smooth professionalism.
All the best!
What a beautiful day to take us along. No question who’s PIC and situational awareness. Thanks.
Wow, I'm very impressed with this... your skills are awesome. Keep flying!
Nice views! Thanks for the overlays!❤❤
Wow, just wow, nice job and nice flying. That was great to fly in with you even though it was on video...Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
I'm so proud of you brother. I pray God's anointing upon you and covering each and every day.
Great video I can add another flyer to my repertoire.
Just humming along.
This is one of the best videos of piloting an aircraft that I've seen. It displays the necessary flying instruments allowing one to see the aircraft's heading, altitude, etc, etc making one feel being sitting next to the pilot. In addition, the audio between the pilot and control towers is awesome. Great job putting the video together.
Thank you for those kind words. Please review the channel for other piloting videos. And yes, had not posted much do to time required to edit. Thanks for watching!!
@@billinga You're welcome, sir, and thank you for your service. I watched another video and will watch more as time allows it.
Good to see you out there flying sir
David, are you still on 747? Thanks for watching.
Nice and smooth as you want it to be if you have the experience which makes it much easier ..thanks for the short hop God love ya brother.
Fly on Brother!!!❤️🙏
Great video, nice job. Nothing like a calm flight and a calm pilot, thanks.
Great pilot you are sir.
310Q's are sweet airplanes. I don't like the belt driven alternators on the IO-470's, especially in icing conditions but they are slick machines which can haul ass and look cool. The one I flew had most of its switches up above the glareshield which gave it the look of an FCP in an airliner.
Thanks for watching and the insights. There is value in belt driven alternators especially when issues arise. Replacing the belt is a $15 part and does not affect internal engine operations. The gear driven alternator has some failure modes that places metal into the engine oil. Also, gear driven alternator is another check point for oil leaks. Anyway, neither configuration is free of risks and the operator must understand general operations and failure modes/mitigations. Stay safe!!
Thank you for that flight sir.
For some reason this video screams “America”. Personal success meets aviation passion meets airspace open to all.
New to your videos, just discovered them. Watched two and now I'm a subscriber. Well done with excellent explanations on what you're doing. I'm a Cessna 182 driver.... :^)
Welcome aboard!! Posting pilot experience videos since 2010. Is there anything that you would like to see covered more often in these videos?? Comments welcomed and stay safe!!
Am already ❤️ this!

Thank you!
Fantastic!
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Great to see you back on. Thanks for video.
Wonderful and respect to you. Thank you so much for the experience as I felt I was actually flying. I have difficulty hearing/understanding what the controllers say so can't put anyone at risk.
Aviation has a different language for sure. The good news is the language has a limited vocabulary and after some practice, expected patterns of use are learned and repeated. It is hard for most to initially understand but after a couple of months, it gets better. Thanks for watching!
Awesome thank you
Nice 😊
Love this video, BRO you rock.
Great video..thank you.
I love that panel. I have always liked the look of the Aspen product. It's not all broken up as separate indicators. You can cut one hole. Very nice panel. This is my first time seeing this channel. I like it. Looking forward to following. 🙏

@@BlackEagleFeather Live in the Jax Fl area and my daughter is in Savannah
@billinga ok I was stationed over there at Blount Island for a while.
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you!
Sir... this is absolutely spectacular. I would like to start taking some lessons... your advice for a beginner would be much appreciated
Advice for new aviators. Join flying groups/clubs to learn as much as possible about the flying culture. Ask questions about flying and how others got started in general aviation. Ask for a mentor/advisor to help(ask online or in person). Listen to stories about how airplanes are used. All this will serve you well throughout your aviation journey. There are many online groups that are aircraft-type specific and most are free to join and review conversations/threads. Keep pressing forward, Cheers!!
@@billinga thx for your words of wisdom!!!!
