Dear, io posseggo da quasi un anno la stessa macchina che stai presentando e posso dire che va abbastanza bene; se devo parlare però degli aspetti negativi che ho riscontrato sono il prezzo alto, il fatto che bisogna lavorare molto sulle viti del controtelaio per avere un giusta tenuta in pista.. e per ultima cosa, ma non meno importante, sono alcuni particolari estetici come ad esempio la riproduzione dei fanalini posteriori che da parte di Revoslot è davvero approssimativa e poco fedele. La bmw 2002 prodotta da Avant Slot (ex Spirit) è molto più accurata da questo punto di vista, grazie
Yep, this creates a great tryptych from Revoslot. I, like you, favour the green model but the others are great too. I have an Alpha 'white' kit which is British Racing Green now but I haven't finished it as I am figuring out the chrome/silver for the window frames. Otherwise, and personally, I'm more in favour of installing lights for night racing and running analogue but I did very much appreciate your video on digital chipping these. As you say, the finished quality of this brand is second to none and I certainly do find them more satisfying acquisitions than some other brands.
I've not got into white kits yet, that's a whole other rabbit hole to go down in the future though. I do think this is very much the future of slot cars, the all metal wheels and metal chassis give such a low centre of gravity so the cars are stable by design. Definitely my favourite brand both for mechanics and the looks as well.
I think the Aussie phrase is "Better than Lego" isn't it? :) My favourite, and has taken my lap record by over a tenth from the Alfa now it's tuned better
Dave, that IS trademark BMW driving performance. Why haven't you learnt this aspect about BMW till now? Every manufacturer has a trademark driving performance style. Nobody ever mentions how the brands perform. When you get to a corner and you brake and down shift, the BMW will drop the engine revs to MID REVS. It makes the car very safe to drive around corners. Mountains are BMW's speciality. So to experienced car guys, this BMW is behaving exactly how BMW's are designed to behave.
Hey, I have this car and it seems like the roll bar is not installed correctly. Yours looks the same. Do you think it is an issue or the way it is suppose to be?
The roll bar does look too low inside, they're all like that though so I'm not sure if it's "wrong" as such, I did an image search on youtube and some of the real cars back in the day did have what looks like a low roll bar inside
@@nith4826 the FT-Slottechnik SCD2022 chip is out fo stock some places. I've jsut had a message from FT-S saying they expect stock to be available in the next two weeks again
