Not me ... I avoid "horror" games (and movies). However, it seems that these games do have quite a following (including you:)

I have been looking at the Retaliation backing page back and forth and I get the impression that it is compatible with previous nemesis games in part. Seems like the minis are the scale and the board pieces seem the same. I get the impression that you can play with characters from other games in the series. Am I wrong?
Well, when I was looking at the campaign last, I recall reading it wasn’t specifically compatible. But I am absolutely no expert on it! You can comment directly on the campaign page and ask! It may also be in the faq. 😊
It wasn't super clear and looking at Gamesfound I realized that it did not make much difference in price to back or just wait for the retail when adding VAT and shipping so I decided to just go and order a retail copy of Lockdown now first. When looking at your talky and others I realized that what makes me most exited is the duality of a possible traitor aspect of the game.@@inspired2game
@@JahaJahoYes! Traitor mechanics can be so exciting; they just add to the ambiance of tension.
We aren’t backing Retaliation; I’m happy with Lockdown. But I like that survival/escape aspect versus a focus on pure combat.
And it is also very much inline with the Alien franchise with the Burke and Ash vibe that is a big part of the attraction of the movies. Will be fun to play it some day.@@inspired2game

I don't think it's correct to compare Nemesis and Nemesis Lockdown with Aliens and Nemesis Retaliation with Starship Troopers.
Alien Retaliation represents the second movie "Aliens", which is the most action-oriented while still having a lot of horror and survival.
As this is also my favorite Aliens movie and in my top5 movies of all time, I'm almost there to "support" the Gamefound campaign.

Didn't back retaliation too. Lockdown was a step ahead compared to Nemesis. Retaliation is pretty much the same except for the map...
