They do take some getting used to for sure. After 15k on the camel ADV pegs, I’ve found myself not stepping off the peg wide enough and my foot gets caught.
Consider reducing the number of studs in the peg, just replace them with a shorter gub screw to protect the threads should you decide later you'd like to use them.
i bought these for my tenere , the larger ones with an extenstion for your heel, they are crooked, angled too far forward, tossing them right in the trash, nobody will want them

I took them off after my first ride with them. They kept getting stuck folded up after dumps.
