I just installed one of these last week and I must say it's very well made and also it made a huge difference when I ride with my 12 boots thought I might cut the tip as you did as well. Well spent money.
Took your video on board, ordered the lever and it turned up in about a week or so. My bike is fitted with the centre stand, that complicated the fitting somewhat but not impossible. Nice bit of kit indeed. 👌👍
On my Husky 701 I have an aftermarket rear brake pedal from Vanashe and a similar shift lever from Hammerhead, both of whom are in the US. The shift lever is custom supplied to your boot size and works a treat. Both items are heavy duty and much stronger than the OEM parts. No issues with either after many, many miles. 👍
This is a fantastic lever, if it has not been covered make sure to disassemble the rod end and loctite as well, mine came loose and broke at a 1000 miles, customer service was awesome and took care of it even though I felt partially to blame for not loctiting myself. It is not a cheap part, they just do not loctite from the factory.
@@MVDBR I just wanted others to be aware to check, mine was not, I was able to unthread the broke end by hand. They did send a full replacement unit even though I just asked to buy a rod end, it is a solid product as is the rest of their inventory. Shipping is right around 2 weeks. Thanks for posting!
at 3:58 a small piece of a rubber hose falls out from this whole kickstand/shift lever assembly, where the heck does it go? I can't find any place it fits...
Nicecnc makes quite a bit of parts for all kinds of bikes. I have a couple guards for the KLR and an aux dash plate. I'm thinking of getting the rear rack next. Maybe a kickstand too. Most products come in different colors👌 the KLR lever doesn't add any horsepower😕😆
They have released the sprocket cover which they're calling a case saver, I'll see if they wanna send me one to check out although I dunno how well it'll save the case www.nicecnc.com/collections/yamaha-tenere-700-motorcycle-parts/products/chain-case-saver-for-yamaha-tenere-700-xtz700-2019-2023-tenere-700-world-raid-2022
🤷♂️how far out do we want the tip? My T7 goes bruuuum clunk and it shifts up and brum clunk brum clunk as I shift down. Not worried how it looks I can’t see the fucking thing.
I don't mean any disrespect here at all Josh but just my 2 cents after working in this biz for a little while... Now I'm not saying this WILL break, but it's just another Ali Baba product out of China, like we see with a few other brands that 'come' out of Australia. Yeah price point is cool and all and if you are on a budget, sure, but I wouldn't bet on this holding up compared to your more premium options (not that there really is many other options out there). Some of these products will work well but not sure if I'd feel real comfortable with some of their components that perform a critical function, but who knows, I'm happy to be proven wrong. Again, I work VERY closely with companies that do the same thing just with a different name slapped on it and the amount of issues is ABSURD. Safe riding Josh, I hope this lasts and if I ever see you out on the trails maybe I can change your mind.
Larry Loopout I dig the name 😎 Mate I hear ya, and you may be right. But NICECNC already have a pretty good rep, I've heard only good things. Time will tell I guess 🍻
My swmotech shifter is super wobblyafter 30,000 miles. But oem is too short for size 13. Thinking of trying nicecnc. I like steel cuz you can bend it back.
Yeah, but you know what I don't mind the stockers cause they don't ruin my boot soles. If only they were a touch longer. Nicecnc have some pegs, maybe they'll send me some to try out.
Thanks for the video. The lever is surprisingly affordable too, wish more things for our T7's were!
Yeah you're not wrong there mate most of it's way too expensive

Thanks for the feedback mate yeah cutting the tip was a good move I think cheers 🤙
They make nice stuff no pun intended, 😂 good job Josh.
I see what ya did there 😜

Glad you're happy with it John, damn good for the price!
Just ordered one of those beautiful adjustable gear levers. Thanks for showing.
Good stuff 🍻
Josh plays the piano track on this video fr fr no cap. He's a man of many talents.
And the drums bass and guitar mate, one man band 😎

I remember having a hammerhead brake pedal I think it was on my 450, quality stuff 👍
OMG we’ve done the same video practically 😂 … I’m releasing tonight … nice job btw.
Haha I'll check it out, cheers 👍
Looks like a solid piece of kit
Not bad for the price 🤙
Dude you are just nailing it every video you put out 😂 informative and funny what more could we ask for! ❤🎉 looks like a well built item 🤌🏼👌🏼
Hahaha thank you JD 😘
good demonstration. i need this with my size 47 biots. can this shifter be adjusted a bit lower than the stock levers lowest position?
Yah probably a little bit but as ya probably know, if you go too low the damn thing won't change down the gears.

I actually did disassemble mine before installing, expecting it to not be loctited but it was 🤷♂️

Will that shifter make my boot feel less squishy when I shift? asking for a friend :P great how to video Josh! love the new shop!
Sure will! Thanks mate bit tight for space but cosy is not always bad 😎
Don’t think we didn’t notice your old man glasses off camera 🤣
You'll get your turn young fella 😁

I think that was a washer 🤔
@@MVDBR nope xD it's literally a 10mm piece of a rubber hose that comes from.. Somewhere in there :x can't figure out where it goes
@@Zw1d I don't remember seeing any rubber hose, but then it was a while ago
Good job nice bling.
