We had a snow day today so I was happy to be able to get a workout in. Awesome workout, I can barely walk now lol. Excited for this strength workout challenge.
Fantastic leg work out! Yes my heart rate was up with the heavy weight (20 lbs). The core section was challenging with those ankle weights especially when scissoring those legs. Wow!

The hard thing with degenerative arthritis in the lower back is....not being active can aggravate it as well as being active. What I do, as I have this at my age now, stretch daily, foam roll, take an extra day off if needed or decrease the weight, take ice baths, do up dogs daily, and I continue to do bird/dog and other fine tuning exercise for my back. Everybody is different, you need to find what works for you. I also take GUT HEALTH from SNAP which helps with inflammation. I know some people find relief in taking some type of anti-inflammatory topical or pill. Another option is do the exercises you can that don't irritate it as much. Maybe a ball squat is better for you and doing more reps. 👌❤️😘
@@MichelleBriehler OK I will try the ball squat. All of this happened yesterday and I would love to go onto the third video today however I’m not sure can I do that by just lowering the weights or should I take a break for a day I don’t know what to do because I hate to stop.
Sounds like you may have tried to go too heavy or your technique may have been off just a little. Do some up dogs to get some spinal extension as we did a lot of flexion during the leg workout. And most defiantly lower the weights, but don't fight through the pain. 😘💯
@@MichelleBriehler by the way, I just want you to know I started going through menopause in 2018 I’ve always been a major fitness buff have always looked amazing and have recently started to gain weight for no reason even though I eat right, and I obsessively look for workouts from so many different people that I can do and I never stick to any of themcoming across your standing low impact cardio was the best thing that happened to me. They were doable. Everything else I tried gave me panic attacks that’s just part of my menopause symptoms but I’m able to do all of your exercises without breaking into a panic. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this great lower body and ab burner. Had to modify a little in weight had some low back issues but got through and felt great.
Make sure to do some updogs...after leg day I typically do 5-10 ddogs every hour. ❤️❤️
Can you put a stick/yardstick under your toes to help focus on ‘pushing through your heels’?
