I agree -- I believe this baby will always in his heart be known as "baby girl"! A very exciting time for welcoming this baby to the world with so much love for her and the love you have for each other.
I’ve followed you for months and have loved the honesty and sincerity you are. This daily video has been a highlight for me. I’m 78 and am sitting at a campsite at Lake Georgetown Texas with my dog Truffles in my sprinter RV. You give me hope for the future of mankind.
I wish every couple thinking of pledging their life to each other could watch your vlogs. You are both an example of what real love looks like. I am sure you have your moments of disagreement; your human. But your commitment to each other in good and bad times is so refreshing to see in our world today. Thank you for letting us into your lives.
In America, we usually stock up early on diapers and bum wipes for a baby. Some newborn sizes, but because they grow so fast, some bigger sizes too. It is fun to start small like that as well as burp clothes, bath time items, etc. As the time gets closer, then the larger furniture pieces and a baby pouch body carrier. I'm so happy for both of you.
I was sad to learn today was the last of the daily vlogs. I’ve enjoyed the glimpse into your daily life. (Is there anything that Luca can’t do?!) I’ll keep you in our prayers for a resolution of your infection and that you two be allowed to give birth together. 🙏🏻
I've never had children so I couldn't tell you what physical items you might need for your baby. But I do know that you guys already have the most important ingredient, which is LOVE! You guys have a lot of that and your new baby will feel incredible love from you both! Congratulations again from Paul in Firenze!!!
I will miss our daily visits, but it’s time for you to get some rest and enjoy a blessed Christmas. My hope and prayer is for health and joy for you three.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and your marriage. It was beautiful. You are such a lovely couple. Such nice, warm people. May you both be very happy for the rest of your life. ❤
Sara, you are very well informed. Antibiotics do increase blood sugar. You can have one carb meal a week , its winter, you need some carbs to stay warm!!
I am also a traveler and I appreciate your adventures but funny enough my favourite videos were the ones you shot at Lucky land renovating the place, maybe because it resonated with the current times that we are all experiencing where we are staying home and making the most of the situation. Love sharing Sara's pregnancy development your 8 daily vlogs were so "natural" and relatable. Sometimes the simple things are the best...
So funny seeing you both sharing your baby bumps. 🤣 I will be praying that all goes well with your appointments and that Luca will be able to be with his beautiful Sarita during the birth of your baby girl. Merry Christmas! May this season bring you much joy and much good news. God bless you always.
What a blessing that Luca is so gifted to do so many projects , and Sara such a great inspiration and beautiful, happy person. I really enjoyed these videos! Thank you Merry Christmas 🎄
Absolutely I can see the infection raising the blood sugar, so that is actually a silver lining not to have "real gestational diabetes" even if it will influence your treaments. Love will carry you through to a wonderful new phase of your lives! Great content and editing too!
First, I just want to say thank you so much for sharing this week with us. They were all lovely episodes and thanks Luca for explaining more about why the stovepipe was so close to the wall. For the baby, a small bassinet or something to sleep in, diapers, wipes, (or soft washclothes), a few onesies, soft flannel blankets to swadle the baby girl, (are one of the grandma's knitting or crocheting her a baby blanket?), socks or booties, a little hat, car seat, and lots of love. I truly hope Luca can be with you during the process, don't loose faith, if the last couple of years have taught us anything, it's that things can change on a dime. All the best, and have a blessed wonderful Christmas with your families.
Sara, Google the term ‘swaddle blanket.’ When babies are born, they are comforted with a snuggly type blanket that mimics being in the womb. It calms them down and makes them feel more secure. I did this with my son almost 18 years ago with a regular baby blanket but now they actually make the swaddle blankets that are designed just for this purpose. So excited for you and Luca! Stay warm I hope you have a Buon Natale! 🎄♥️ Thank you for sharing your vlogs with us-fun series! ♥️♥️♥️
@@shanalawrence4381 Yes, correct, and that is inevitable. But when they are first born and fussy, it’s a great calming solution. Eventually, babies will start to adapt to their surroundings, sounds, sensory, etc. and mom and baby will decide when swaddling is no longer necessary.
Hello guys, Items for the baby are one piece gowns and booties for the baby feet. Maybe some gloves for her hands so she doesn't scratch her face. Good luck with everything. Trish for Texas
The daily blogs were great. I know it was a lot of work but the series was done very well, I hope all the doctor appointment and test go well. Might I suggest that along with your diet, you take a daily multi-vitamin supplement with a concentration of Vitamin D and some Zinc. Enjoy your Christmas.
Hopefully things will change for the better before the baby comes! Babies need very little in the beginning! You need a car seat, blankets, onesies and sleepers, diapers, wipes, and a mat you can put down to change the baby on! I changed my babies on the bed, sofa, and floor more than I ever did on the changing table. They slept with us (Dr Sears, our pediatrician, recommended wearing your baby and shared sleeping) for many years so the crib was barely used. You’ll need a baby sling and if you’ll breastfeed then a quality pump (and bottles or bags for storage) is great!
Thank you so much for your extra effort to take us along with you on the special daily blogs. You are both wonderful , inspiring, and multi-talented. Best of luck with the upcoming tests. Merry Christmas! Be safe. ❤️🎄🧸👶🎅☮️
two awesome people. I cant wait till your next blog, always so down to earth and loving couple. your face needs nothing it is awesome. Love you 2, stay safe
I am so glad you asked about baby necessities. A car seat will be absolutely necessary although only for when you are driving. During the first year to two years when walking around town and on hikes you need the “snugly” baby carrier you use on your’s or Luca’s chest. These are invaluable and absolutely the best way to bond with your baby girl and for safety also as well as a great way to get your figure back. After the first year your daughter can graduate to the carrier you wear on your back. These are much better than the stroller during the first 18 months or so.
Although it will be 49 years this coming March since my twins were born, the most important things I feel are needed are whatever kind of diapers you will use (lots of them), warm baby blankets & outfits, baby bottles & accessories, no matter how you intend to feed her. That's a start. Luca, you are a "MacGiver". I love all your videos, so can't pick just one. Wishing both of you happy holidays. Thank you for letting us feel like one of your family members. Love you. ♥
Merry Christmas to you as well! I’m praying that your infection heals quickly and all the tests produce good results. By the way, it was so uplifting to hear Luca mention a tree house for the kids.
The daily vlogs were a wonderful Christmas gift for your followers, thank you so much for allowing us into your life and sharing your ups and downs. You are so gracious and inspirational. Thank you again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good luck. Thank you for bringing so much joy at such a difficult time in the world. It’s so exciting having a baby and It’s so kind of you to share it with us. Happy Christmas from England 😘
Oh, I’ll miss you two. It turns out that it is very easy hear from you and see you everyday. Happy and healthy Christmas week to you. See you again soon.
I really looked forward to seeing your vlogs this week, it was like meeting up with friends. Good luck with your hospital visits this week and try not to think too far ahead to the birth and let it spoil your pregnancy. Rules change all the time so hopefully Luca will be allowed in. 🤞
Thank you for the eight days of daily vlogs! I know it was a lot of work and you shared a lot and it was very enjoyable! I was worried about the house being cold for Sara and the baby! Beautiful job on the radiator and have a very relaxing peaceful Christmas! Good luck with all the tests!🎄💕🤞
Enjoyed the daily vlogs. My baby loved her mechanical swing, and the insert for the car seat that keeps the head stable is a must. Merry Christmas to you, and a wonderful New Year for your little family.
Totally appreciate you sharing segments of your life….such a genuine, relatable, cute and fun couple. Will miss the daily vlogs. Luv you guys, stay safe and Merry Christmas 🎅🏻
This series was a wonderful glimpse of your everyday lives. Thank you for sharing and being so vulnerable with a bunch of strangers. It shows that we all are not so very different around the world. Sending only positive vibes for all your appointments this coming week, and a very Merry Christmas to you and your families! 🎄🎉
Thanks to both of you for your daily vlogs and all your great editing. Prayers and blessings to you for a great week with all your medical appointments. Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄🎄🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hello beautiful couple Luca and Sara! Wishing you a Safe ~ Healthy ~ Happy Holiday Season and Beyond! Prayers and Good Thoughts All will be as it should be and you will be allowed to be together during the delivery and arrival of your healthy beautiful baby girl! Much love and light from an American Northern California USA gal
It is so cozy and warm …..when you address yourselves as “we” ….it is so loving 🥰…your infection would be over, with antibiotics …Praying for both of you 🙏🙏
I've spent most of my adult life around children. My own mainly but babysat ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE'S kids also 😊. The main thing the hospital wants you to do is have a good carseat for baby( they might tell you, over here in the u.s. the hospital checks your car seat, making sure its installed properly). Remember baby grows real fast so when getting clothes, try to get bigger sizes also. I like night gowns, or onesies are great for baby. Also recieving blankets, baby sleeps real good swaddled properly. A pacifier is great also. That's all I can think of right now. It'll come to you over time. Information comes as you go. Merry Christmas, and a MOST happy and Blessed New Year!!
It was a real treat to share these past eight days with the two of you. Thank you for putting in the extra work to produce all the videos. Sara, in answer to your question about what things you will need for your baby girl, of course you will need a safety approved baby car seat to bring her home from the hospital. Also lots of blankets and onesies. You need backups of those since babies do frequently spit up and/or leak through their diapers and soil these things. A binky (pacifier) or two for soothing the baby is a good idea, although none of my four kids ever liked them. I pray that Luca will be able to be in the delivery room with you. You both have always shared everything in your life together, and it would break my heart to think that you wouldn’t be together for the most important event in your lives thus far. So fingers crossed for that to be possible. 🤞🤞🤞 And I pray that your tests go well this week. 🙏🙏 Your theory about your gestational diabetes being caused by the infection sounds very reasonable. God bless the two of you and your baby girl. Have a wonderful Christmas. Buon Natale! Much love. ♥️
Baby must haves: 1) You need somewhere for the baby to sleep. You should not have baby sleep inside your bed coverings because of the danger from SIDS. Have her in a bassinet beside the bed or in a co-sleeper on the bed. 2) A few diapers (hospital may give you & you can buy more later). 3) Car seat. 4) Nursing pads, nipple cream, nursing bra (if you are breastfeeding). 5) A few spit-up cloths and little blankets for swaddling. 6) Closer to when you give birth, a few little clothes based on what size they think the baby will be. 7) Baby thermometer. All the other clothes and other things can come later. Blessings to you, Luca & Babygirl ❤️
Thank you so much for your 8 day vlogs. I have enjoyed them so much! Sara! You will not be alone when you’re little baby girl comes, we will all be with you in our thoughts and prayers. Have a wonderful magical Christmas Sara and Luca. x sending you lots of love 💕
Really enjoyed the daily vlogs. You guys have alot to do so don't stress out too much. Luca is like MacGyver. He can built anything. Can't wait to see babies bed all set up. Pray that your tests come back negative to that infection. And most of all: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 🎄🧨🎉
Luca makes things work, Sara makes them beautiful ❤️! For baby, a wrap carrier to snuggle carry baby around, my fondest memories from my son's baby times are from those cuddly carries and walks with him ❤️🤗.
Buon Natale to both of you. I love watching your videos. You guys are awesome. I think you should have blankets and sleeping gowns for the arrival of your little girl. Excited to see your new arrival.
Your extra Grandma Skye is praying for you daily. I pray that the placenta is showing willingness to rise. I pray the new treatments end the infection, and the gestational diabetes for good. I love every video minute you share with us. I know how much hard work, and heart is in it. One more little thought. We have found, with my grandson, that having a baby wipe warmer is very good. It is so gentle to be cleaned with a warm wipe; much less crying. Sending you love, and holiday cheer as well.💕
I can’t say that we have experience with these, but everyone we know who has had a baby has said that a diaper genie is a life saver (and keeps the home livable). Home life wouldn’t be the same without it.
THANK U SO MUCH a for doing the daily vlog!!!!! The effort, time is so appreciated!!!! Please know that peoples and families r praying for u 3, Sara’s health, the stress and for the safe and healthy delivery of your precious baby girl! We’re excited to see how your channel evolves as this little one grows with u two! Luka, u can literally do anything, it seems nothing is impossible to build, create, modify or fix!!! WOW…. That’s a gift dude!!! We love u, we appreciate U TWO, and will see u after Christmas!! Love and blessings from your web family!!!!
Congratulations on the impending arrival of your daughter😘. I’d recommend baby sleep sacks and soft swaddling blankets so your babe will be safe and warm when sleeping😊
I have enjoyed watching your daily vlogs. I feel like I know you at least as acquaintances. I look forward to seeing how you progress. Luca is very handy like my dad was. I admire a man who can do several projects. Wishing you a very happy holiday season and I know you will have a great New Year.
Hi guys! My daughter's are now 22 & 24. The best baby item is the diaper genie. I had 2. One for each room. You'll love it. It's amazing!!! Get lots of pj's & onesies. The baby will throw up. I changed the baby's clothes at least 2 to 3 times a day. Don't forget the towel to put over your shoulder. When you burp the baby. That's usually when a lil throw up happens. There's baby laundry detergent too. Very soft for the baby & you. God bless you and merry Christmas!!! 🎄🎄🎄🙏🙏💜💙❤️❤️🌹💙🥰🥰🥰 Oh there's round cribs. It might fit perfectly in the corner. 👍👍👍
Love seeing life in another country in a remote mountain area. Wishing you better news on your pregnancy and infection. All will be ok and you have each other to weather any storm! I am curious how Luca knows so much about so many handy things?! I am a 6 time grandma and am impressed with the convertible car seat, stroller combo! Of course swaddles are a must!
Merry Christmas to you both from New Zealand! Hope your appointments went well and baby is behaving herself!!! Love being part of your lives each week.
The daily vlogs series was a great idea. We've enjoyed all the episodes. And Thanks Sara for the editing. The result is always satisfying👍💚🤙❤️. Concerning the series that you've asked us for.... For me As you know I have watched every single video here in your channel so to me they were all enjoyable..🤙👍
You continue to inspire me to be a better person. You are sending goodness, kindness, and love into the world through your beautiful relationship with each other. Thank you so much.
Thank you for producing these daily vlogs. I started following you two when you visited Nikki and Carlo awhile back. Now I'm addicted to watching your adventures and daily life stories. You two are beautiful people with kind and beautiful spirits. I miss you when I can only see you guys once a week. So this week was lovely. Thanks again for sharing your life. Blessings to all of you, including the sweet baby girl in the belly!
Merry Christmas Beautiful People 🥰 I’ve really enjoyed your daily vlogs. All my love, thoughts and prayers are with you this week for positive outcomes of your pregnancy tests xxx
This was a fun week. Loved everything you guys shared with us. A baby bouncer bed was a life saver for me. It is great t have and you can move it around. Love and be safe!😘🤗❄️🎄🇻🇪
Thank you for your wonderful daily vlog..we will miss your faces daily. Luka you are so talented with your home repairs. And Sarah, you are so caring and so cognizant of the things you need to do to keep you and your baby as healthy as possible. Your baby Saluka ( my nickname) will be so lucky to have you as parents.❤️from 🇨🇦
For the baby, I would say a pacifier is a must! Can help calm a crying baby when nothing else will! Luca's eyes looked gorgeous when he was in the attic (6:15)! 👀 I have enjoyed spending time with you every day for the past week. I will miss you tomorrow! I pray you both have a very Merry Christmas! 💝
This world is crazy. I pray Luca can be present with the birth of your little girl. Thanks for sharing your daily life. You need to stock up on nappies for sure.
Now that you both are living at home and will be having a little baby girl to take care of, I look forward to seeing what you do around the house inside and outside. Watching the baby grow up and seeing her reactions to nature and all the places you take her to will be a new adventure as well.
Thankyou my loves I have enjoyed everyday with you each day a pleasure and yes you are our UA-cam family I just love when you’re at your home visiting your family sharing life in Italy I wish you all the blessings leading up to the birth of your little girl may the gods watch over you both La vita e bella Buone Feste See you soon my loves😘😘😍😍❤️❤️👌👌🙏🙏
Sara, this morning in Mass, we prayed for all pregnant mums.
My thoughts went directly to you! So I placed your intentions on the Altar for you! ❤
Whenever Luca talks about the baby, he actually, "glows"! His love shines through!
I noticed that, too!
I agree -- I believe this baby will always in his heart be known as "baby girl"! A very exciting time for welcoming this baby to the world with so much love for her and the love you have for each other.
So refreshing to see! 💖💕
And I love it whenever he says "Baby Girl," like it's her name!
Merry Christmas Lucas and Sara, and your families. Mario and Diana.

A swaddle is good, but babies need freedom to move their hands and legs freely 🙂

Luca is a Jack of all trades!! You’re both amazing!! Love the daily vlogs.
Luca makes things work, Sara makes them beautiful ❤️! For baby, a wrap carrier to snuggle carry baby around, my fondest memories from my son's baby times are from those cuddly carries and walks with him ❤️🤗.
My prayers go out to you both that somehow Luca can be there.
Buon Natale to both of you. I love watching your videos. You guys are awesome. I think you should have blankets and sleeping gowns for the arrival of your little girl. Excited to see your new arrival.
Merry Christmas guys. We enjoyed the daily series. May God accompany and bless you. All will be okay. The new year will truly be new!
I would like to say Merry Christmas to the two of you.
I so love your videos I could not choose one, I love them all from the first to the last.
Always love seeing you both and your kindness and love ❤ Merry Christmas 🎄 you truly are special people giving so much to all of us, thank you!
Congratulations on the impending arrival of your daughter😘. I’d recommend baby sleep sacks and soft swaddling blankets so your babe will be safe and warm when sleeping😊
Thank you for sharing your life during this very spécial period. Enjoy Christmas 🎅 with your family!
Buon natale amici 🎄🎁
We all Love and pray for you.... soon to be Beautiful Parents !!!
Merry Christmas Luca & Sara, good luck with the doctors visits this week, everything will be alright.
I have been lifting you all up in prayer.....many hugs!
Grazie per i vostri bei videos questi 8 giorni, buon natale anche a voi e buone feste
