2023 was a hell of a year, I have made $271,000 before taxes as the sole breadwinner and head of household. This is a great starting point and I’m very aware how blessed we are to be in this position, but I’m always looking ahead on how to improve. Very little credit card debt (less than $2K with more than $25K available). I have two auto loans totaling $100K for two electric vehicles at 5% interest. I will appreciate suggestions from anyone who has been in same shoes on how to go about them.
You may want to start somewhere different, like the snowball method, where you focus on one loan, usually the smallest one, and direct all of your resources to pay off that loan while maintaining payments on the others.

Good report, thanks. However, significant audio recording or post production failure. Much of the left and right channel audio is completely out-of-phase (the worst I've ever experienced) so it is not mono compatible. Please consult a sound production person to learn what was done wrong. Test: Play on a 2-channel stereo system and switch to mono (mix the left and right channels together). The sound is almost completely muted.
14:37 Those cheaper versions will be produced in 2025 or 2026 so that's something to keep in mind.

The body panels are bullet-resistant, not the glass. The glass can be but would require aftermarket mods.
The glass should be a lot tougher than regular car's glass
So the glass is tougher than regular glass, and remember when they did that demonstration with the steel ball being thrown at the window, the window shattered, but the ball did not go through the window, something that always gets lost in the conversation.
So I love your terminology of the CyberTruck, from it’s a car to it’s a truck etc.
I also want to mention to you that if you got one of the original Tesla, model S cars, the company was just about 9 years old, and so all 1st generation vehicles will have issues, and those issues will be worked out overtime.
So if you bought a model S today it’s a far cry from the model S that originally came off the production lines back in 2012, and the bill quality issues you spoke about are pretty much in the rearview mirror.
The other thing to keep in mind is that those cars will be collectors items, obviously if you’re not a collector, then that means absolutely nothing to you, but to someone who is a collector you might want to think about going on one of the car sites, and seeing what a collector would give you for that car, before you decide to trade it or sell it to a car buying service, like Carvana, or Carmax, etc.
So the CyberTruck is a full-size pick up truck, and its value is in its versatility and utility functions, as opposed to a regular car/vehicle like your model S which is in a different class of vehicles.
It should be noted, that full self driving/FSD is not currently available on the CyberTruck, but Tesla has indicated that they intend to install FSD with a simple over the air update as the CyberTruck does have all the hardware and capability to accommodate FSD and it was just recently announced that FSD version 12 will be rolling out to customers maybe as soon as next month which is very exciting news.
So one of the features that you did not touch on, was the steer by wire feature, as the CyberTruck is the only commercial production vehicle in existence that uses such a system, and I find that to be exciting news too.

@@theodorehaskins3756 The glass is nothing special its regular glass as many cars use. The front screen has some additional features that it does not splinter.
THE GLASS IS *NOT* BULLET RESISTANT ONLY THE STEEL BODY PANELS ARE (up to a certain caliber ofc), I believe it is stronger than most automotive glass but idk

i would recommend that you get either the refreshed Model 3 (highland) or wait for the refreshed model y (juniper), instead of getting a used tesla. that is because the updates on those two vehicles would be worth it IMHO.
You said it’s really easy to drive it, turn etc Isn’t it what every car has nowadays? Also how often do you need to charge it? Thanks.
If We plug in when we get home daily, we don’t worry about charge. We wake up with a full tank daily. Mostly never drive enough in a day to drain the battery.
A couple times a year for a very long road trip, we charge every 300 miles or so. Go grab a coffee and use the bathroom, ready to go in 15-20 min.
As far as steering, it really is different than any car out there. It’s hard to explain. You have a massive supposedly heavy vehicle that feels as light as if you were in a sports coupe.

It's a much tougher glass. Not saying it won't break but it's much tougher.

Yes it does. The windscreen does not easily splinter when chipped. Thats all. The "hardness" or toughness are the same.

14:40 To be fair the comparable version of the Cybertruck to the Model X is $80k. The $60k one is only 250 miles of EPA range and rear wheel drive.
I dread when one catches on fire and the people can't get out due to electronic locks and outsiders can't break the windows. But I am sure getting shot at is more common than needing to get out of a vehicle after an accident...
What do you think about its overall look?

Thanks for your review and continuous inspiration. I believe, by the numbers, the Rivian is better: it has a better range (in particular when towing), a larger battery, a spare tire and it's a more mature platform. Still is that car enticing.

@@thetux0815 *crumple zone. Cybertruck does have crumple zones. The front underbody casting brakes break into small pieces during impact thus absorbing & dispensing energy. We will know how good this design is once it gets tested by NHTS.

Why wouldn't you use this everyday? It's a car-truck hybrid with a ton of trunk space, very smooth riding, and with FSD basically drives itself. It looks polarizing, but over time, the novelty will fade like all cars.

Residual value of a car is meaningless to me because I don't trade in cars until they are mostly depreciated. Buy the car for a price you are okay with and own it until it is depreciated to a baseline.

Tesla interior is missing two (one set of) dual-zone multifunction dials. They could handle like four or five functions and pressing could switch functions. Much needed physical controls while retaining interior minimalism is possible if done right. Tesla's cost saving at all costs lessens their product design experience somewhat. Improvement needed. Those and four Qi2 chargers (two front, two rear) are the changes I'd make.
Well respectfully I'll say that the stainless steel finish has already been done in the 80's. Anyone remember DeLorean?
As I agree to your thoughts about a new car - my experience here in Europe is quite the same. Don't buy a car that's in it's first year of production.
