It's been so cool to watch your dream grow into a reality. I'm sorry it doesn't look exactly like you planned it would. I can't imagine the pain behind these lyrics, but man this song touched my soul. I've had it on repeat all day. Games We Play is definitely a new favorite for me, every time you drop a new one it's on repeat for weeks. SO excited for the new album and congrats!

It’s taking me back to the early 2000s at warped tour listening to mayday parade and so many others. This is a vibe. I’ve always loved this style and still listen to the same bands I did 20 years ago. Fantastic lyrics.
Been listening to this on repeat. I think they were what each other needed at the time. Emmyn encouraged Dani to leave the band as it was making her unhappy and wasn’t what she wanted. She encouraged him to chase his dream of playing music. In that time, they were what the other person needed to make that positive change in their own life.
He made her isolate away from her family..
Hes a narcissist. He shows it time and time again. All along he kinda used her for her platform she had as he always wanted a music career of his own. So taking her away from her own etc helped that process cos then she focused on his wants and career mostly.
