The lying thing is beyond relatable. I married a gora and when we first started dating I was telling him how good I am at lying because of the double life. He was like WTH?! Funny, not funny, you know what I mean?! Poor guy was like are you gonna lie to me?! I’m like no the lying is reserved for the parental unit, unfortunately 🫣🫣ugh the struggle was way too real 😢

Omg, its so funny that you mention about marriage being an escape for some desi girls. That is so true... and sadly sometimes, you don't think through what you're getting into (whether it's arranged or love marriage) & then end up in a bad relationship/marriage, which may be even more toxic. 😢 💔 Then you may end up back with your family again for support, etc 😅🤷🏽‍♀️ #Soml
