I was so happy to see this come up in my recommended videos. I love a good dressing room reveal. My partner paid for my room to be done for Valentines last year and it's still my favourite place to be in in our house.

Beautifully done! One fyi: I would move the perfume out and away from sunlight. I've heard they go bad or the potency weakens much quicker.
Dressing room looks like a high end boutique I love it it's amazing how much space knit wear takes up leaving perfumes on window ledges isn't a good idea it breaks down the perfume x

Great job. Consider a second full length mirror and put it at a right angle to the current one (one on each wall if it will fit) that mirror corner will mean you’ll have a much better view of your outfit from multiple angles. Also consider a narrow clothing rail (House of Valentina has a gorgeous black one) so you can plan and hang your outfits.

It looks very nice. Although I have a California Closet, my closet is not big enough for an island, so consider yourself very fortunate. Andy did a very good job installing everything.

Looks amazing hun I was wondering what size wardrobes you got. The back wall looks like 100cm,75cm and 50cm. I can’t work out the side wall except the 50cm for your coats. I don’t suppose you remember? Hope you’re loving your closet x
Looks lovely. Andy smashed it . Just a tip. When it gets warmer move your perfumes of the window sill as the heat evaporates the perfume ❤

This is great. One thing I think anyone looking to do the same could benefit from is the size of the room itself.
What did you do to hide the holes that line the inside edges of the Pax frames?
Nice job! But l did this in my old house and l used a nice long length of skirting board at the bottom. I don’t see the point of why you had MDF cut + trim then added and end up exactly same look as skirting boards. Would have saved yourselves a lot of time. But even so you still ended up with a lovely dressing room. Good job.

What trip did u use for the shelf’s the holds your handbags? Looks like it has some sort of lip to it so it can stay?

What do you do when it comes time to replace the carpeting? Your wardrobes were installed on top of the existing carpeting, were they not?
I doubt we will be living here still for that time (10 years or so) - should we ever need to get rid of this carpet it would be replaced by hard flooring ☺️
@@alexxcoll I asked because I had carpet put down in a spare bedroom before I had cabinets with a desktop on top installed across the width of the room. And I regret doing that. I should have installed them on bare floor and installed the carpeting around them.

WOW Alexx, Andy is a keeper! Gorgeous room! If you wouldn't mind me asking, how high is your room? How high did you get the wardrobes? We are moving house in a couple of months and we need all the wardrobes done too. Am thinking of Ikea as well. X
We got the full height IKEA pax wardrobes (2.4m) and our room height is about 2.45m - however if you want the full height look and your room isn’t tall enough you can always cut the wardrobes down to fit - we had to do that in our previous house and it worked well!

Wow, really nice was just wondering did you ever think when Andy
put the wood trim round to leave it like that just my personal preference I love wood white and pink and that word was lovely. It looks like oak veneer I’m not sure oak/solid but no looks lovely, but just if I was having it I would’ve had everything the same but I would’ve kept the wood round it and not painted! Anyway, a really nice really jealous you would laugh if you saw my wardrobe I am 5 foot four and I can just fit in my wardrobe and that’s it so I would like one day to have a dream wardrobe or just a little bit more space anyway looks lovely I love your house take care love Suzanne😮👍🏼🫶

Aren’t you worried at the light coming in from the window eating up the colours? When I lived in Chicago I had a small window in the walk in closet and it ate the colour on the side of the nearest piece which was a Sonia Rykiel trench coat 😱

Not at all! We were originally quoted between £12 & £15k to have someone come and do what we were looking for, this ended up costing a total of £2.5k (including the lights & chair! Not included in the original quote)

really like how you've done this! One tip however: Every three months or so, tip everything out of there and completely disinfect the inside of each frame! drawers, EVERYWHERE! Why?... Mr. moth. Once they lay their eggs, your clothes will all be ruined. Yes, know its a hassle, but the other alternative is new clothes and they love knitwear especially. A lot of work, I know, but you'll thank me in the Long run :-)
