I just got my Crandall remanufactured Leap V2 chair today. I am extremely impressed. Coming from an IKEA Matchspel, this Leap v2 is worlds better in comfort and adjustability.
Just bought me a Leap v2 from Crandall using your link. Hella excited for it! Thanks for all the content, was huge in helping me make an informed decision
Heeeeey! Just bought this chair from Crandall based on your last video. It's only been a little over a week but I enjoy it a lot so far. I actually have to remind myself to stand up and raise my standing desk after an hour or so as my legs and butt aren't screaming at me to stand up. Appreciate the videos!
Dude that’s awesome!!!! So glad you love it. I always get nervous bc I know reviews can be subjective (as much as I try to make them objective with friends helping test out chairs) so hearing people agree is really helpful!!!
Thanks for the tips, they seemed like good tips in general for buying other types of used chairs as well. Very knowledgeable guest speaker, thanks for bringing him onto your channel. I'm considering buying from their web site.
Great video on this Leap chair, and Crandall for his knowledge, I would be interested in checking their store out since I'm looking for an office chair...
I went through your plug from your last video to buy a used leap from them, and I'm now waiting till they get a leap plus restock to buy. I'm excited and can't wait to get the chair and also support Crandall Office 😊
I have some pretty bad lower back and hip issues and have been looking at new chairs as my PT said it would hep out a lot. Currently using a costco chair with lumbar and tailbone pillows that are exacerbating the problem. I tried out the leap v2 and gesture and the leap was a bit more comfortable to me than the gesture. The leap contours around my body and is incredibly comfortable. My body just felt right again after sitting in the leap. I hope to order one soon. Im getting a quote on a new one, but will also look at crandall as well.
I was looking at a Crandall purchase before this video certainly helped fully solidify that this is the route I was going to go. I purchased a Steelcase Amia with the 3D fabric and I honestly couldn't be happier. The chair only had some minor cosmetic damage on the base but otherwise it looked and felt brand new. I have only had the chair for a few days but I have already been seeing the difference my my posture, and lack of aches and pains after a long day of working. Crandall is the real deal and their support was amazing at answering all of my questions.
Got a 2009 shipping date leap v2 with all the attachments for $200 at a local warehouse that buys from offices that close . It’s literally like brand new, arm rests are spotless no scratches or wear , fabric back and bottom have zero stains
I see a lot of these online, and wonder if they are refurbished. You can tell immediately by removing the back report and referencing it with online picture. Curious. I bought one from 2007, and it was definitely used. LOL. but surprisingly it works great once I did a little maintenance.
@@Ahnestly I don't believe it, it's just an insane thing to do, to toss out 1K chair because it's old instead of just wiping it down with some fabric cleaner. LOL. But I am curious, maybe if you have time do a video of it. I think BTOD did one, but that was of a specific Ebayer, but not of the one from these warehouses. I think they all do the same, send it to China, get it refurbish and sale them here. But it's not to say, the quality of these chairs are bad, as the engineering on these chairs are so good it's impossible to make them bad. This is why Crandall, and BTOD's only selling point is thicker paddings. Thin, Thick, Cardboard, it probably just as comfortable. LOL.
@@CM-xr9oq Local listings like craighlist and FB marketplace will help you A LOT in the long run. EBay might be more meticulous, and can run into some "fakes" but is worth a try. This whole video got you covered!
Ugh words can't describe how much I like those guys! They're joining me in a video next week! Please check it out (entertainment-info video, not specific chair review!)
Yeah I briefly mentioned that the remanufactured leaps from crandalloffice are my favorite due to thicker padding and left a card (top right) in case you wanted to see why!
I tried one out, don’t quite think the leap is for me, the back was a little too flexible for my likes, other than that it was a fine chair but I returned to Crandall, they are really good with return policy.
I got a pretty dang clean one with knit for $290 fully loaded. I would send in the seat pan to crandles so they can refurbish they dont offer my color. According to the tag it was made in 2013. didn't know about no warranty chair.
I just bought a couple of used Leap Plus chairs that were shipped in 2022. I am trying to determine if the chair has leather seating or if it is vinyl or one of those artificial leathers. Is there an easy way to tell the difference?
Pretty much! There might be a couple nuances, since the Think is a more budget minded chair, but Steelcase has great build quality across their chairs! Crandall Office also sells used Thinks as well, and are having a massive 30% off discount on their factory authorized return chairs. Links in the description if you decide to pick up - helps the channel a LOT!
Hey Dan! I’ve basically narrowed down my office chair hunt down to this refurbished Leap V2 (for the extra padding), and the HM Embody thanks in part to your reviews. I’d love to hear which of these you think is a better Jack of all trades chair for both work and gaming as I will be using it for both. The biggest factor for me is the ability to sit in the chair for extended periods of time! I will be using your affiliate links either way for your help in my office chair journey! 😂
Hey Jason! I would say buy both and return the one you don’t like. They’re pretty different chairs and I could see these polarizing folks! I think it would be really good to try them next to each other! I am still an embody fan, so that’s my ultimate rec though! I appreciate you using my links!!! Let me know what you decide on
Hey bro please review the emerge vortex from staples! Only like 120 bucks on sale rn and I sat in it and it felt real good for the price. I saw some reviews but it's not your review. I want to hear it from the goat. Please review the Chair asap before I buy it!
Cheapo chairs don't last long. You get what you pay. It will be making creaking sounds or have a broken part (such as the pneumatic cylinder) in no time.... And you will not be able to find replacement parts
I think you might be confused here. If you go buy it on the used marketplace (Facebook, Craigslist, etc), it’ll cost around 300. If you want to make sure you get one that’s been cleaned, sanitized, all parts are in tip top working order, and has 12 yr warranty, then you can get one from Crandall office, but it’ll be more expensive (as you said, double the price).

Folex works pretty good on most stains

Just got one today in very good condition thanks to these tips I checked it out. Only $200 😎
wondering where you managed to get your chair at this price?

Please get David back to go over a remanufactured Steelcase Amia! Great video and subbed

Great info, thank you!
Looks like a gesture used buying guide is coming soon?
Wish we had Crandall chairs here in the U.K. I bought one from eBay recently but am unsure about it and also the cushion could be thicker
Thanks guys great video i found a used base model for 180 i think imma sell my Ikea Markus and get it.

Subscribed. Would like to see this for other models too, like the Amea, Fern, Embody.
Thumbs up!
Amia fern and embody don’t really exist in the used market as far as I know :( I’ve seen a handful of Amias, but mostly gesture, Leap, and Aeron

For some reason whenever I sit on any Herman Miller chair except Sayl, I have pain in my left knee. Surprised to see you in a cast. Get well
