That "pullout" burner shelf thing is the stove I grew up with!. I have NEVER seen a photo or video of that stove before, and if I tried to describe it to someone, I'd get this blank look like they thought I was nuts. Although there was an oven above, and the pullout had to be all the way out before you could turn any of the burners on. (This was mid-sixties) we used that stove until we moved out in late 70s. Loved that stove. Lol

Like you’re going back and single handedly restoring justice to all the ancestors back then who didn’t get the same Privilege. Can you tell us when the love for the 50a started? Did your environment/neighborhood growing up encourage or discourage this passion? Do you ever see the important role you play in doing what you love fearlessly?

The kitchen walls and green color on the cabinet is the exact same color as my granny's kitchen was! Only difference is she had the old white tin cupboards. She also had a eddison toaster which she still used until she passed at 101 yrs. Old(actually born in 1915 the whole house was like a time capsule complete with black and white tvs lol)Brought me back for a moment to my favorite place in the world, thank you! ❤

I really love seeing these videos because some of your appliances are the ones my My great aunt still has in her kitchen and they still work perfectly well, though she doesn’t use them as much as she did when she was younger so I really never got the chance to see her using them so It’s nice to see how the appliances would’ve been used and how they work❤️❤️❤️
Genuinely toasters take up so much space and they don’t do very much, so having it as a built in is genius. Even though it doesn’t do many things, I always wish I had one when I don’t. lol
That toaster is a Modern Maid model, but it was manufactured after at least 1972, when Modern Maid merged with McGraw-Edison and released Modern Maid appliances as Edison’s, and before 1980, when MG-E sold off their food service equipment brands. The product was sold under the Modern Maid label until at least 1990, the latest catalogue date I can find listing the product.
Love the baby doll dress! I've never seen a toaster like that and I was born in the 60's. I do like it although I'd be afraid the cabinet would get too hot. Does it get really hot like these throw away toasters we use now? I love your stove and your Corning wear teapot, my sister has that exact one, because our grandma always has one 🥰. FYI: For anyone wondering why they didn't do this for more homes., it's because it was a lot cheaper for companies to make regular appliances, which were also cheaper for consumers. Also, you have to literally custom design a home to fit these appliances, since they require more depth in walls to fit properly. Again, too expensive and time consuming for both the builder and the home buyer.
I just adore you remind me of a young version of my grandmother. And because things are made so well in my family has taken such good care I have a lot of things that you have that I have just been using since childhood. And as they got older, and passed on, I have all of this stuff.
