    A little tip for the paddle holes. Time your machine and figure out when the last "kneading" is done before the rising and baking, then the next loaf, set your timer for that full time (mine is 1 hour & 35 minutes), and you can take out the paddles before the bread rises and bakes. It'll still have little tiny holes from the place where you put the paddles, but it won't have the massive paddle spot that always ruins the cut.

    In terms of reheating croissants, would it work to toast them in a regular oven? You could get the moisture in the oven by doing one of at least three things: preheat a small pan in the oven and when you put the croissant in add a cup of warm water in the preheated pan, or just toss a few ice cubes into the oven right before you put the croissant in, or maybe spray some water into the oven using a water bottle. Do you think any of those would work?

    • @nodezsh
      @nodezsh Рік тому

      They would work but there's lots of variables to cross off there. Probably even the changing weather would be able to mess you up with such amounts of water and an unsealed oven.
      This thing you put a cuplet of water and set the timer and setting to what the book says, comes out perfect.
      Toasting seems to be trickier than baking somehow.

    The haunted noises from adding cold water to hot metal are everything... but I do wonder how long that will last before the repeated heating and rapid cooling stress becomes an issue if you are regularly refilling it when it's hot.

    • @shannonrickard8605

      @@shannonrickard8605 Well, you would hope not, but for 300 bucks, it seems like a rather poorly thought-out point of failure. And if you want to use it for multiple items, especially with a larger family, then it won't necessarily be that rare.

    To reheat pizza we put it in a cold skillet, scatter a few drops of water around, cover with lid and turn burner/element to medium low until crispy and heated through. Works for naan, too.

    Three hundred for a toaster? I will stick to my Breville Smart oven and an iron skillet for toasting and reheating pizza. I haven't tried heating croissants in it but I suspect it would do okay in the Breville. It looks nice but not for the price and the counter space.

    So question: Could you get the same outcome by adding a pan with water in it to your toaster oven while toasting bread? We add a little container of water to the microwave too when we are reheating anything with bread. It keeps it from getting tough.

    Nope. Will keep my 1982 Hamilton Beach toaster oven over this any day. And MY toaster has brown orange and yellow adjustable lines around the knobs that's so ....beautiful. LoL. Wow. I guess if you don't have a good Hamilton Beach late 70s or early 80s toaster oven this thing will do. 😜. Btw...I can steam in mine too...

But hell, if it brings people peace of mind, hell toast it for 300 dollars. You know how many lobster tails I can buy for 300 hundred dollars???? Shit.

    #2. We like cold pizza, but if we want to warm it, I do 20 seconds in the microwave and then transfer to the toaster oven. Perfect. #3. Croissant can be done exactly like #1, although I never had ones quite as big. In all, waste of money - huge difference between this and inexpensive toaster oven does not seem worth it. Also, my casserole dishes would probably be too large.

    Never ever going to buy a $300 toaster; like ever. but I still enjoyed and appreciated this review. These days reviewers be like “this is not a sponsored video. I got this for free from the manufacturer but these opinions are not biased and are all my own.” Yeah whatever, shill. So I def appreciate when people share their opinions about products they themselves paid for with their own cash money.
    Yo, but seriously you can only toast one slice at a time?! You have so much bread in your house to only be able to toast one slice at a time oye!
