I made these recently and they are delicious. My husband really likes them too. I will make more in the near future. They are the best treat. Thank you for the recipe and all of your videos
That looks divine! And I do have that Torani syrup on hand. It makes a delicious cream cheese mousse that I freeze dried. I will definitely try these salted caramel mocha squares. You are so creative! I might add a couple of chunks of salt or some salt flakes maybe. (I like salt 😆) I'm thinking you ought to work on a freeze dried recipe ebook. In your spare time 😉.
@@countrylivers Here is the recipe. 8 oz cream cheese softened at room temp; 1/4 c of Salted Caramel Torani syrup; mix those together with a mixer; add 1 c of heavy whipping cream and 1t of Sweet Leaf Sweet Drops in Salted Caramel flavor or English Toffee flavor. Whip with a mixer until stiff peaks form, about 4 minutes. Scoop into individual serving dishes and refrigerate. When ready to serve drizzle a little salted caramel syrup and chocolate syrup on top. Add some toffee chips and chopped nuts. I love it.
Damn, I need a FD already! Already have weeks of stuff I must get FD and stored, but your channel is giving me so many more recipes and ideas to do. House is closing next week, then I can finally order! Definitely getting a large{longer wait} but feel so behind.

The new machines do not have that option, (it was really redundant anyway as the machine senses the temperature of the chamber) You must pre freeze these because of the sugar/syrup. Put your pre frozen squares in the freeze dryer when it prompts you to put the food in. Run as a normal load.
looks like a nice little treat and moral builder for a SHTF scenario.... John can you give an idea as to how long you think they will go out in mylar bags with OA's? Thanks again for the great recipe.
I was so excited to get a notification of a new video! 🤩 We are traveling in our 5th wheel in SC right now but I have these supplies at home and am definitely going to make these! Would you try reconstituting as a portable mini latte (maybe with some more warmed milk?) or just enjoy as a snack? Thank you for sharing with us!
You could reconstitute, If I were to package it that way I would just pour the mixture onto the FD tray with possibly dividers. Then add hot water and it would come out just as it was when mixed although it would have cool whip unless you just omitted the cool whip. Thanks For watching!
Thank you for this recipe, I have these in my freeze dryer right now

Does the oil In The cool whip cause any issues?
Do you do this on normal settings
Yes I do everything on normal settings
How do you come up with these yummy treats? My hubby would like them👍
I don’t care for coffee, could you use chocolate powder instead
I think it would work
@@JohnInBibs thank you

I just got my FD, but I don't have a Pre Frozen Liquid option. What would I put my settings on?

Always happy to see your notification!! Fun and exciting! Great idea! Looks so yummy, thanks for sharing John!
Thank you 😊
@@JohnInBibs can you please do a Mac n cheese one? 🙏🏼 Please?!
OK I will get that into the rotation!
@@Editbyhelen Oooh, Mac n' Cheese bites sound devine, maybe on top of cracker too, with some kind of topping! Or breaded...

I would think at least 10 years. The reason I don't say 20 is the cool whip. I don't know for sure on that

🇨🇦🇺🇸 I like your approach to experimenting with food. Question; have you ever used a sugar free sweetener, if so, how did it turn out?
No I haven't
