Merry Xmas everyone! I hope you're all staying warm/happy/healthy and spending time with loved ones eating the yummiest of foods!
Thank you so much everyone for your support over 2023, this has been an incredible first year full-time on the channel, and thanks to everyone's support I feel incredibly lucky and fortunate to be able to continue working full-time on the channel for 2024 and beyond! Hope you all continue to enjoy learning Japanese and having fun with the language!

It is phenomenal that you take the extra effort to go back to prior Genki Lessons and supplement them with material, at all. It's breathtaking that you do so while updating the game references. A large amount (majority?) of these references were from games released in 2023. That is astounding (considering new video capture and colored classifications of grammar that must be done each time, when you *already* did this for different games in the Lesson 3 main video). And I hope you know how much appreciation there is to see you put the extra effort in.

Hi Matt! My name is Matt as well lol. I have been to Japan 3 times, just came back from a solo Japan trip in early December, loved every second of it. I studied Japanese on and off for a couple years but was tired of using flash cards and memorization. I love video games as well and Persona 4 is one of my favorite RPGs ever made. I have the switch version and when you recommended to use Persona 4 as a way to study Japanese, that's exactly what I'm going to do now. Thanks for jump starting my Japanese learning. 😃

Merry Christmas! Your channel has been the most enjoyable source for learning japanese. Now I watch this instead of other less productive videos.

Merry christmas! Thanks for all the great videos you've worked so hard on!!
I have a question (unrelated to this video): do you happen to know if the kanken 3/DS games you recommended have a lefty option? I noticed that for some/most of them the layouts would make it difficult to operate them (as) well for lefties.

Should i watch the "The Complete JLPT N5 Grammar Video(Game) Textbook" or the playlist of individual N5 grammer videos? Or should i watch both?

2:40 聞きます to listen but the translation says “will ask”? Is that like “I will hear you once more”?
