i actually love the way that this game portrays hacking as scrapping personal information and trying to build profiles that you can use to get places you shouldn't. more social engineering than coding
for a targeted attack like this this is mostly how hacking works in real life
@@gdblaster9302 i know, which is why it's so good. most hacking in games is about bypassing computer security or breaking encryption or stuff. while this is much closer to how real life hacking works
Well, it does make a lot more sense than typing random stuff into some magical console, as it's often depicted
Tyler just leaving in the middle of an ongoing police investigation that he's assisting in real time.

It's weird to me that developers are paying to have Tyler play the game, when there's not even a release date on the steam page yet. By the time this releases, there's every chance I'll have forgotten everything about it, instead of hopping on and immediately buying it
Could be for a round of fundraising. Show that the demo can get attention to bring in investors.
I mean the idea is that if you like the game enough at this stage you'll wishlist it so you get notified when it releases
@@updownbanana I did exactly that at least, but I can't help to think that a lot of people will simply forget about it by the time it releases, however far into the future that might be. There's a reason gaming companies usually starts out with small early teasers to create hype, and then ramps up advertisement around the release date, not a year prior.

I have found a puzzle game called “jimi can not read”. Basically you start by knowing the letter A and need to collect blocks with letters on them to learn the letters. You collect letters by hitting sentences with letters you know and you only take what you know. You will need to take what you collected to get more letters. There are blocks you must shoot with the corresponding letter to open it. After finishing the sentence you get a star and it disappears. That is the basics but I don’t want to say anymore because I want you to experience it as the developer expected so you don’t know something you weren’t meant to know until later but trust me it is fantastic

I was interested in the game and tried out the demo. Ended up spending 3 hrs doing 100% completion on the first chapter. I thought there wouldn't be much to explore after watching your video on it but I was definitely pleasantly surprised by how much there was to explore. Thank you for sharing this gem of a game!

Tried the demo myself and it seems to be broken? I can't get any information from Tom Blanco's Toothbook page. (nevermind there's only a single sentence you can click on the first time, a little confusing) Also the translation into English is shaky in a lot of conspicuous places there are "Target Portraits" instead of "Target Profiles".
