The remaining rules are:
29 - All Roman numerals must be in Times New Roman
30 - The font size of every digit must be equal to its square
31 - Every instance of the same letter must have a different font size
32 - Your password must include the length of your password
33 - The length of your password must be a prime number
34 - This rule is skipped!
35 - Your password must include the current time
And finally, you have to confirm your password by typing it in again within 2 minutes.
Yeah, it is def possible but too many things have to line up. I think a lot of the rules overlap too much to make it fun.

@alittar8062 the speedruns of this game are insane though, they got full spreadsheets of different urls and everything
I've beaten this game myself, and there is no time requirement for retyping the password at the end (to my knowledge).
The time requirement got removed, but you've got it besides that.
FYI the next few rules involve having a prime number length, and including the length in the password itself, then at the very end it asks for the current time, so if you played at night you're probably screwed unless its past midnight
you can actually change the time on your system and it is probaly the intended solution (otherwise you would have to update the password every minute)
@@Nico_com_c I looked it up, and the very last one is the most unfair... It erases your password and gives you a short period in which to re-enter the whole thing EXACTLY as it was before the game deletes it:D So unless you copied it JUST before entering the last piece of the previous rule... You are screwed:D

@@Nico_com_c yeah, honestly that feels a little cheaty to me. Like I know it's a troll game and it's kinda whatever but in general I try to avoid changing my clock, and so I assume others do the same

I really hope somebody takes this concept and makes a puzzler out of it, has so much potential beyond just a troll game!
i think this is perfect as a troll game and having it be actually enjoyable would sort of ruin the point. this game is taking the annoying "your password must include special characters" to the extreme
This concept was actually done in one of the puzzles in the galactic puzzle hunt in 2020 (or maybe 2021?) It was actually pretty well done - harder to solve, but not frustrating in terms of time pressure making you lose and having to start again. But the way rules were added required changes to previous iterations - often drastic ones, and just coming up with what sequence allows you to move on, took a lot of exploration.
Well there was that one puzzle in the Witness which made you find a solution that worked for all previous panels, and I really liked the concept. I can definitely see a full game based on it
It's not actually a troll game. The puzzle is very solvable just incredibly hard. I've seen other UA-camrs solve it.
I'm actually building my own version currently after running into this game recently! I'm planning on being able to have it be some what modular so people can possibly add in their own rules and such, I do like how some of the rules require you to answer questions with niche information or random words so I do want to keep that aspect of it but also focus more on the puzzle side of things. Currently I have a working prototype that I'll probably turn into a github website soon :p
Here are some tips for anyone who wants to beat the game.
1. Place a lot of unimportant symbols (dashes, periods, etc.) at the beginning. These are important for the “Wingdings” and _“Italics”_ rules, and also for controlling the length of the password. Spam at least 50 of them. Emojis are allowed. Zeros are not recommended. Never *EVER* use letters (e.g. _HHHHHHH_ )
2. For the UA-cam video rule, for lower times, you are better of searching “for X minutes and XX seconds” in UA-cam. For larger times, it’s really just up to luck. Note: Videos that are one seconds off are acceptable.
3. You can feed Paul up to eight caterpillars before he is overfed. Keep that in mind when searching for UA-cam videos and waiting for the suitable time. Don’t forget to make them Wingdings and Italics.
4. You can make HEX codes lowercase to avoid C’s and D’s. Reload the HEX code if the numbers are very large.
5. If you are playing the game right now, *FEED PAUL!* Maybe set an alarm for 2 minutes if you are struggling with this part.
Additionally to that:
Reroll the captcha to have no numbers. Also, reset the game whenever it forces a big number periodic symbol on you, like it happened in the video with the Chess solution for example. Also, memorize the geo guesser solutions, they repeat eventually. 0 is a valid leapyear. Check if lowercase is possible to avoid periodic numbers, for example "iamloved" removes the 53 value I. The only 2 valid solutions to the "multiply to 35" rule are "XXXV" (preferred) and "V" + "VII".
Make sure to ctrl+v the final solution.
Use a second browser window to always be able to have an eye on paul.
And expect to reset more often than not, this is a game of trial and error and learning. One day, you get a lucky seed and do it first try
Also almost any youtube rule above 20 minutes is more likely than not a reset. 2 out of 3 links have a roman numeral and are invalid, and 4 out of 5 links have too many numbers, or periodic table values. And low time youtube links are easier to find. If you get past the youtube video with a low number, low periodic table count, and it's valid in general, you got past the hardest part of the game. At least imo the hardest part
Two extra strategies that helped me through my final (and successful) run of the game:
1) Put the window of the game on one half of the screen, and look up resources (like the youtube urls) on the other half. It makes it much easier to keep an eye on Paul instead of changing tabs every few minutes.
2) When looking for youtube urls, the easiest method that I've found so far is looking up speedruns. There are millions of speedruns out there, so you're bound to get a ton of videos around the time that you request. Put it in the format of "XX:XX speedrun".

there are a ton of ways to do it, surprised that's where he gave up to be honest. Not sure how he even ended up with the wrong hex, even the copy paste method doesn't distort it enough to change the hex values.
I bet Photoshop or whatever app he had open uses a different color space than his monitor which would distort the color, but that's just my best guess either that or his screenshot app does something weird
@@art0007i i think he just took a screenshot and pasted it in the editor, no? So it should be the same color/hex regardless of his editor settings or monitor settings.
Here's a question I can actually weigh in on! Windows colour profiles do actually warp colours on monitors, even in software, which means that any high-level screen capture software would report the wrong colour. I had quite a few painful experiences with that using the PowerToys colour picker :p
This game is insane lol. I didn't copy my password before clicking submit, and I instantly regretted it because you have to retype your password before you can beat the game, so I just edited the HTML to allow you to copy it cause I was just so done with this game
I honestly think that's an acceptable and maybe intended solution, since you'd already (typically) have used the browser's Dev Tools / Inspector for the color code.
The fact Tyler got the chess notation so quickly means he is centuries beyond us, man lives in 3023

6:40 You could delete everything in the URL after the "&" symbol - everything after the "?" is a list of parameter-value pairs, and a valid UA-cam video link only needs the v parameter.

Probably a good idea to get the hex color is to inspect the HTML and copy it from the developer tools.
How easy this game is to complete depends on so many things.
Todays wordle answer, the random numbers you get, the hexes you can achieve, the chess problem… all of these are random in a sense. This is the first “puzzle” game I’ve seen with so much randomness
For anyone wanting to try this game - it is nearly impossible unless you play around 1 or 2 o'clock. Numbers are the biggest issue.
Another couple tips - You can have 5 caterpillars in front of Paul, and I was able to use Microsoft Paint's color dropper and an online converter from RBG to hex - but it's a little inconsistent. I'd recommend trying the game once and then curating a set of tabs for the chess/periodic table/etc puzzles.

the most annoying part is definitely the youtube link, there's a document online that contains a good link for every length the game can give you, also you can see the RGB values of the color with inspect element

This video was super engaging, it seems a third editor has been a fantastic addition to the channel!
I was trying to play this with a team of 3 people, we got to the last requirement. It asked for the current time to be added. It screwed with the 25 total and was a balancing act that every minute was overhauled to still fit.
This actually seemed like it could be a fun puzzle game, but after the youtube url and the hex code for the color it lost me. But a very neat idea with the chess board and using Roman numerals etc.
well at least the color and captchas you can reroll it to get a better fit, the problem is with the chess piece, or youtube's url if it gives you romans, numbers and periodic elements since its case sensitive and you cant reroll the time if you not reset the entire game
I think the problem with the hex color code is that in some software numbers pairs are read backwards f.e. instead of A0FFD2 it would be D2FFA0. Happend to me while I was trying to do something in GameMaker :/

Dude I played this game blind for the first time yesterday, got to the very last rule, was lining up my numbers to fit the character count, add up to 25, and prepare for the change of the hour in 10 minutes time where it would all line up.
As I was changing the font size of the 4 in “401” (my prime number character count) to 16px, I realised I hadn’t fed Paul in a while, panicked, scrolled up, saw he had no food, ctrl-v to give him food, but it pasted the hex code for the colour I’d had to change earlier instead of a caterpillar, and immediately afterwards, “Paul has Starved”.
That’s the first time a game has nearly made me cry since FFX.
You'd need like three people perfectly collaborating on one shared computer screen to beat this 😆

Honestly my first attempt gave me a video length that I literally could not find at all (except one, but that screwed over EVERYTHING)
Taking a picture of the colour isn't what changes the hexcode. It's chrome automatically adjusting the colour so ut "looks more accurate" by applying calibration profiles. The only way to actually get the colour is ro wither dusable that or to get ut from the HTML
honestly same. the chess notation + roman numeral + atomic number + sacrificed letters really screws with the url.
I'm lucky that I needed a 8min20sec video, which is perfect for 500 sec countdown and there are hundreds of them.
I ran out all of them. It took 3 hours.
I now have seen every single 500s timer video on youtube yet still unable to beat this game.
slight rant: I didn't realized the i in 'I am loved' can be lowercase, so the 'I' and Rf6+ and XXXV and sacrificed QZ means the url can't include LMCDXVIUYZPBQF or any double letter element lest the atomic number overshoot. That's 14 out of 26 * 2 = 52 case sensitive alphabet. As it turns out that's very rare for an 11 characters long youtube url.

you can inspect the color box instead of screenshotting it to get the rgb value and convert that to hex, but I understand your frustration. You need an almost perfect youtube link in order to win, meaning low numbers, low periodic table elements, no roman numerals, and no sacrificed letters. And even after that you’re going to spend a lot of time messing with fonts which is very annoying.

I quit out of this game when I hit the chess puzzle and tbh I'm glad I did, it seems like I got the fun portion without hitting the serious trolls
I think it is both a troll and a puzzle game. I think if you replayed it knowing many of the rules in a similar way as you would a rogue-lite, you would do way better because you know the pitfalls to avoid. And because you avoid the pitfalls, you spend way less time & effort trying to fix up the stuff you break along the way while putting literal and proverbial fires out.
I think it would be actually really cool if the devs made a nontroll option gamemode where it was actual puzzles and stuff you had to solve and put the answers in, rather than just constant pain. This is funny no doubt, but after one go, idk if it's really fun to try again. Especially having to climb back up to the point where you lost.

This game doesn't work, no game hides critical information that makes you reset the entire game if you dont know previously before the time to execute it.
The final part of 'retyping it all' is a real troll, you can only do it if you get there first to know about it, fail, then save the password in the second try...

The chanve of there being no numbers in a hex code in 1/3 because 0-9 is numbers then 10-15 is letters (A, B, C,D,E,F)
6/16 for each hexit. Probability of no digits is then (6/16)^6 because colors are 3 bytes which are two hexits each
