      You should graft when the scion and the rootstock are growing.

    Hello! Dont I need to cut the bottom part of the opuntia? One that I got is already healed from its wound. What should I do?

      If it is healed then no need to cut it and if you want then you should only cut the dead part.

      @@readyplants7099 I have large opuntia pad, I have been thinking cutting it into 2 pieces so I can graft into to 2 pots. Do I need to wait for the other half to be healed before I graft?
