(Yes, he lied, but they didn’t know that at the beginning. So, to me, that says there were other universes and timelines that had already happened so they wouldn’t just call BS from the beginning of him saying he was from another earth . No one said, “Really? How did THAT happen all the sudden?”) And we know that WandaVision took place months before Far From Home and Loki (I believe) is before Far From Home as well. So…I’ve always thought Far From Home was already an altered timeline right from the beginning. I’m thinking maybe Sylvie’s multiversal event happens first & that’s what’s causing the multiverse to go crazy. The TVA can no longer contain the timeline because everyone is making their own choices. Which is why the TVA never showed up in WandaVision & WandaVision is directly effecting Spider-Man No Way Home since they’re in the same Universe. My guess is Wanda & Dr. Strange’s spells get intertwined due to her messing with the Darkhold & that’s what really causes Dr. Strange’s spell to mess up here.

I have a theory. What if somehow due to the events of Loki and and WandaVision, the multiverse has been opened and villains have invaded our timeline. Doctor Strange KNOWS this and he cannot fight them alone. So when Peter comes to ask for help, Strange pretends to open the Multiverse, saying its Peter's fault (whereas in Reality it's just a bluff, the Multiverse has been opened by Sylvie). So now Peter has a responsibility to fight these villains because it is SUPPOSEDLY now his fault and he needs to get things right.
I agree with this aside for one exception. I think Strange has no idea that there is no Sacred Timeline, that Sylvie opened the Multiverse. I think as far as he knows, he's only affecting one timeline but in actuality he affects multiple timelines.
I have 2 theories : Doctor strange messed up the spell either because Peter interfered with the spell which we don't see in the trailer or the multiverse is already messed up because of Kang and Wanda which resulted in the spell not working / Messing up more

I'm 100% convinced that they planned this 20 some years ago with the sole intent of doing the multiverse. Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Mans are now canon and I think they have been for a long time but they gave the excuse as to why they cancelled Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to avoid raising suspicion. Electro is also in this movie and confirmed but he's yellow and not blue. I think Doc Ock and the Green Are from the same universe as Tobey and Andrew but they crossed into Tom Holland's universe before their death. But I know what I saw with my own eyes 😂 If Tobey and Andrew aren't in this movie they are guaranteed to be in Multiverse of Madness and No Way Home is just the tip of the iceberg. My theory is Nexus events are being created all at the same time. Wanda becoming Scarlet Witch, Sylvie killing One who remains and Dr. Strange playing playing with time. If we hear that Crack of thunder in the background, there's a possibility that most movies in Phase 4 will have some sort of Nexus event, all occurring at the same time of one another.

Your thoughts on Dr. Strange are exactly how I felt. Because in the first Dr. Strange movie we saw Steven Strange be this cocky rebellious person. But through the end of Dr. Strange, then Infinity War and Endgame we saw Dr. Strange mature and take his powers way more serious. So him being so casual and ignoring Wong's advice seems off key for me for his character development. All in all tho, I have a feeling that that whole sequence of them doing the spell is much more in the movie and the trailer was chopped up and missing alot of context.

From the looks of the trailer, it looks this movie is inspired by a Spider-Man comic called "One More Day", a very controversial comic that came out after the events of the Civil War event. In that story, after Peter revealed his identity to the public, someone tried to assassinate Aunt May leaving her in a critical condition. Peter makes a deal with Mephisto to make everyone forget he's Spider-Man, but the only condition is that his marriage with MJ needed to be severed. It was controversial because it was a retcon and rebooted the character back to his basic characteristics.
Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield isnt a theory, there were numerous stories breaking the news they were in it so its the worst kept secret EVER at this point, theyre in it!!! Plus the multiversal plot and their villains being here is a dead giveaway!!

My theory is Nexus events are being created all at the same time. Wanda becoming Scarlet Witch, Sylvie killing One who remains and Dr. Strange playing playing with time. If we hear that Crack of thunder in the background, there's a possibility that most movies in Phase 4 will have some sort of Nexus event, all occurring at the same time of one another.

Your thoughts on Dr. Strange are exactly how I felt. Because in the first Dr. Strange movie we saw Steven Strange be this cocky rebellious person. But through the end of Dr. Strange, then Infinity War and Endgame we saw Dr. Strange mature and take his powers way more serious. So him being so casual and ignoring Wong's advice seems off key for me for his character development. All in all tho, I have a feeling that that whole sequence of them doing the spell is much more in the movie and the trailer was chopped up and missing alot of context.
well tbh it appeared the spell was going easy for him until peter started talking. so strange went in all casual cos he thought it'd be a piece of cake, not knowing peter would mess it up

Try pausing it between 2:58-3:01, there’s a huge fight between Electro, Sandman and Tom with his black suit, now on the left corner you can see a figure that has red and blue suit kinda blurry my guess that’s either Andrew or tobey
This is very nostalgia driven, we will see where they take this. But I don't want to no more trailers; because I don't want to be spoiled. However I know another trailer is on the horizon. From the looks of the trailer, it looks this movie is inspired by a Spider-Man comic called "One More Day", a very controversial comic that came out after the events of the Civil War event. In that story, after Peter revealed his identity to the public, someone tried to assassinate Aunt May leaving her in a critical condition. Peter makes a deal with Mephisto to make everyone forget he's Spider-Man, but the only condition is that his marriage with MJ needed to be severed. It was controversial because it was a retcon and rebooted the character back to his basic characteristics.
