  • The last samurai introduces Koboichi, the traditional flea market at Toji temple in Kyoto Japan. It’s like a time travel to Edo period. You can buy used kimono, Japanese foods or antiques at a cheap price.

    Been there pre-pandemic many years ago . Enjoyed browsing and even bought a few items . Tasty foods abundant .also outside the grounds there were sellers . Recommended 😊👍👍

    I went there some years ago and it was quite enjoyable! I still have a shikishi of Jizo Bosatsu that I bought there. Also liked the " sand-stepping" (virtual Shikoku pilgrimage). Also saw the very scary shochu with mamushi in it.

    I love this flea market! I went here on my first trip to Kyoto, over 10 years ago.. Great memories. Thanks again for your upload. I took some very memorable photographs here.
