- Hi Folks, it's worth mentioning this is a third party review, not a paid promotion. This is just my opinion on these items, make your own, find cheaper, etc. This is what has worked for me so far.
Here are the links.
The first ones are from my Amazon selection, then the others follow. If you buy them here, that helps out my channel Florida Deere, thanks in advance.

The lights and the tool box I figure you can find on your own. I did get the BLV11217 from my local John Deere dealer, but Green Parts is good too. It does come in a huge box, so shipping is probably a good chuck of money. - Розваги
Those lights will shine in your eyes when you look to the rear. I mounted mine directly in the FEL Boom. There are holes in the boom where the bucket level attaches. Make a 90 degree bracket that fastenes into the hole and is in tension with the vertical plate. One screw is sufficient. Have had them there for years with no issues. Well protected by the bucket. Gives good light to your work area.
You are 100% accurate about them shining on your eyes, I ditched them after a bit. I would have ditched them long very quickly if I used my tractor at night, but I don't, so they hung around for awhile. I have the ROPS on now too, so I have some additional options, but again, I hardly ever use it at night, so I haven't done any more lighting upgrades. I really need to do an update video. Thanks for watching.
Those are the best grades I have yet so to see on any video, some of these I never knew about, thanks for sharing
Thanks man, I'm glad it was helpful and most were relatively inexpensive save maybe the rear 3rd SCV.
Thank your posting. I am going to do several of the upgrades you have now seeing them installed.
Sweet upgrades, like the lights bars 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️
Good idea. I owned a 10 25 r John deere. Good tractor. Thanks.
Thanks, I need to do an update of some sorts on upgrades I've done since. Thanks for watching.
You have some cool upgrades. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks man, I tried to showcase good ones, I need to do an update video on which ones were good, so-so or not good. Thanks again for watching.
Good stuff. Like what you’ve done!!
those are some great ideas...i especially like the front axle relief valve....there are so many tractors our there that have blown the front seal and fluid running out of them just for that issue alone on so many models....ill make sure to get one for myself....
Yep William, I had seen a lot of stories online, so went ahead and got one for that reason. I didn't want to be the next "victim"
I need to get a couple of those bucket hooks & that bucket tooth bar.
GREAT Ideas!! Thanks for sharing
Lot of good upgrades
Toothbar - not yet
Bucket hooks from Titan - yes and love them. Ground smooth the inside of the hooks though. They come fairly sharp.
Pressure relief - not yet
Tie downs - haven't needed them. Got wheel tie down straps instead.
Clevis - don't need
Hydraulic caps - gonna get me some!
4x4 shifter - Maybe - been using my heel OK so far.
Traction lock - probably
Lights - zip tied very similar ones to higher up on the rops. Also replaced all bulbs with LEDs.
3rd SCV - don't think I'll need that. Have Pat's that work well enough.
2nd Tool box - don't think I'll need one
Great idea on the tail lights!
Two things that I've found REALLY helpful - big mirrors for certain, and a stainless steel spinner knob on the steering wheel. That knob is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Makes working tight spaces a breeze.
Thanks man, great content, I believe it applies to my 2305.👍
Yes, Agreed, most if not all items should cross as they are basically the same tractor. Thanks for watching.
The magnets are a smart touch.
Funny you should point that out, just last week, I took those off and put on new OEM like lights again. I had three reasons. A I found themm much cheaper than Deere, B The old ones broke and C I sold my bush hog, so it's very unlikely I'll break them again. But yes, I agree, the magnets maybe were the coolest part about that set-up. Thanks for watching Ryan.
Magnets...great idea!
Nice video and all really nice upgrades. I particularly like that trailer tie down bracket on the loader. I had never seen those so I'm going to look into something like that for my older tractor. Probably have to build it for my old clunker but still great concept. Good job.
I got the idea from Courtney at Good Works Tractor, he made a video opining about the shortcomings of modern tractors and one of them was tie down locations which was true. But I'm only good at stealing others ideas, haha. If you check them out and buy there, should they have what you need, use coupon code GWT.
Good job. I enjoyed this as we have thought about many of the same upgrades and you have pulled the trigger on them. I’m still sitting around thinking about them. 😆
Also, I think your pace was about perfect. You covered a good chunk of stuff, straight and to the point. Excellent video!
Thanks man, I'm trying to deliver content that's useful and helpful is my main goal. Maybe stuff I like to see, I've also been on your channel a few times too.
Good ideas , well done
Link to those rops lights please ( brake ,signal, hazards)
Nice Stuff!
Yes, thank you, I need to do an update on what worked well and what didn't. Thanks for watching.
The best up grade is the 324 424 yanmar its the same engine as 3032.
Thanks for watching.
I’m interested in those lights I’ve broken a couple of the stock lenses. Thanks for the video.
I just found them, I'll add them to the description. I also have two videos on their replacement and how that came about.
@@FloridaDeere hunt tty hi
🟢Great Video.!🟢👍
Thanks for the kind words, I need to do an update video on upgrades, on how all these weathered and maybe a few of the newer ones. Thanks for watching.
The 4x4 lever looks slick but I have no problem just hitting mine up and down with the heel of my foot.
Yep, it's just an extra convenience, but if you're skilled enough with the foot that work too. Thanks for watching.
@@FloridaDeere where can I order the 4 wheel drive handle? 2019, 1023e.
yes please because the link didn't work.@@bobpease6924
I have a 1025 I love it where or what company sells the attachment to your bucket the teeth.
It's the Pirahna toothbar. I have a video on it as well, 4 Reasons I Choose the Pirahna Toothbar. I need to do an update video as that one was just the initial purchase and thoughts and now that I've used it, I can comfortably comment that it's been a great addition.
ua-cam.com/video/GjrW3V6Sx7E/v-deo.html
The 4x4 shifter lever. Where can I get the knob for it? Or even better the model number.
This is not where I got mine, but there are multiple places you can grab one, this is just one example... www.ebay.com/itm/275403414801 Thanks for watching.
These are freakin awesome!!! I really like that toothbar on the H120 loader bucket, i like the tie downs, the hydraulic 3rd link & valve lever.
Im really excited about the rear magnet brake/hazard light bar you put on the back. I didnt know if anything like this had ever exsisted for the 1025R's or not I been "ESPECIALLY" wanting to put something like these on mine. Im just blown away by these light bars. How are they for brightness & functionality??? Do they work/funtion with the turn signal rocker switch on the dash panel (i dunno why JD made em work as "turn signals" as i never use this funtion, lol)??? Im so tired of worrying bout my lights getting knocked off of tired of watching of them when i do real close work against my house & my shop. Ive knocked em once already & my uncle knocked em twice & twisted one of em. Ive already replaced one amber lence & one red lence. Thankya for sharing this video. New subscriber to your channel. Kinduh hard to imagin Florida having "winter", lol. Come to Colorado. . . .we'll show ya'll whattuh snowflake looks like lol lol lol lol😂😂😂😂😂😂. take care & God bless. Watch Tractor Time With Tim here on UA-cam. Hes what inspired me to buy my little "Johnny" 3 yrs ago.🚜
Yes, I have definitely mentioned TTWT quite a bit along with GWT, as well as some other little guys like me. Thanks for watching and yes our winters are tough, it was 94 last Friday:-(. If you watch more of my videos, you'll see I'm on the cost sensitive side....not cheap, just a little more mindful of price/cost. I don't have advertisers to help me with equipment, so it's got to earn itself a place quick. The lights haven't been a huge upgrade, so may want to shop around for brighter ones. Being there's no snow here, I'm almost never out when it's dark, I believe or assume what tractors do in the dark is mostly snow removal. The Toothbar has been awesome and I can't recommend enough a rear 3rd SCV. However, TTWT and Summit have since come out with a 2, 3 and 4 SCV that you can get, so you may look into that before you get the Deere one like I have. The lights were mainly my frustration with Deere charging $175 A LIGHT, which is absurd. I love Deere, always have literally almost, but that kind of stuff bugs me. Anyway, thanks again for watching and I hope I'll be posting more good stuff that makes it entertaining as well as educational.
@@FloridaDeere Thankya for gitting back with me. Okie dokie. . . .i'll check into the light bar situation. Im just blown away at the the fact ya had em & i didnt know whether or not they even excisted, & i was just thinkin bout something like that idea here a few days ago. 90 FREAKIN 4 this time of year down there already??? WOW!!! Thats a bit warm alright. That just like central & southern Arizona. . . . lemme tellya. Stuff on these John Deeres DEFINATELY ARE NOT CHEAP!!! It sure makes a feller upset for sure. I try not to run mine at night in the winter time here as i have no cab of anykind for warmth. Theres several different styles and makes out there on the market like the "Mauser" cab. Its like the "CADILLAC" of sub compact tractor cabs. Im sure ya've seen em. Depending on watchya want or git with it. . . . a guy will average from $5Gs to 7Gs for that critter, and its permanent fixture once its there. Done checked on that there deal. I like the idea of a canvis cab of somekind. At least i could take it off in the spring & summer months & be out in the open with fresh air! I know whatchya mean bout trying save & not spend a whole lot. Ive "extended" most of my operating levers myself on my lil guy. I still need to do the differential lock foot pedal on the floor down there & the seat adjustment lever. I wannuh add mirrors of somekind cuz i do alot of back travel as well. Yes I'll definatly be checking out your other videos for sure, thankya. When a guy is out on his tractor for whatever the reason may be, he has not a care in the world. He's in his OWN WORLD. . . . . .!!! Its called "Tractor Theropy"!!! At least thats what my uncle & I call it, lol. Take care & talk with ya soon???? Tractor safe, hoss. My names Rodney🚜😎
@@truckerray7533 Yep, agreed, i work in real estate, so certainly I have to get along with people, but we all have our limits, so I love my Tractor Therapy as well.
@@FloridaDeere Yes, awesome! I just had some "tractor theropy" here this afternoon. 88°F here in S.W. colorado. Been digging with my 260 backoe, trying to dig out tree stumps
@@truckerray7533 Hey, I like people, but we all have our quotes on them too. I recharge with people for the alone time and I recharge during the alone time for the people time.
Where did you get that slick looking front axle dip stick?
on eBay, check John Deere 1025 Accessories I believe. He is a bit hit and miss on whether he has some stock, but I've seen other ones too from other guys on the forums. Thanks for watching.

You meant plugs not caps when referring to the colored items for the female fittings. Caps are for the hose ends...Nice list tho...
Yep
Any regrets with going with the 1023 v 1025 the price has me thinking 1023 do you mow with it and how's the mowing thanks . Nice vid.
No regrets, I love the 1023E and I do mow with it, as well as till, stump grind, bush hog, box blade and more. To me the extra $2500 wasn't worth what the extra the 1025R gives me. I did like the very nice seat and the 3 point hitch position control, but I easily live without them. The other features were nice, but hardly worth any extra to me. Now this is not to say that you're a fool for spending the extra money for a 1025R. If you like those extra features, pony up the extra dough. Just my $.02
@@FloridaDeere Thanks .

Nice upgrades… the link for the lever isn’t working. Do you know where I could get one? Thanks
Ebay and put in John Deere 1025 accessories. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for answering… didn’t see any.

Where did you get all the 3rd scv parts? Looking to upgrade my 2021 1023e
Deere has a kit BLV 11217 I believe, but check out TTWT, he has a few options from Summit as well. Not sure which is better, but options are good. Thanks for watching.
@@FloridaDeere Thank you sir, I will check it out
Could you please tell me where you got the toolbox to put on? I can’t find them anywhere. Thanks
Chris, here is the part number link, but I would use this number and go to your local dealer first to see if they have one, you can avoid shipping cost and trying to build rapport with the local dealer never hurts. Thanks for watching man.
What is the john deere part number for the tool box? Did you buy or make the bracket?
Where can you purchase the enhanced 4x4 lever?
this same guy makes the 4X4 lever too, www.ebay.com/itm/john-deere-1025r-parts-and-accessories/184625678617
Can't find the dipstick with pressure relief. Any ideas where to find it?
It becomes unavailable sometimes, let me see if I can track one down.
eBay says last one, but he usually makes more, www.ebay.com/itm/184864285792?hash=item2b0ac52460:g:PLwAAOSw~SZgQBUY
Checked all the links but did not see the 4 wheel drive handle. Can you tell me where it came from?
Bob, try this one out, www.ebay.com/itm/185120042216?hash=item2b1a03ace8:g:sWQAAOSw9D1erbYt
Also, thanks for watching👍
do you have a link for the front axle vent? thanks!
It has changed several times, if you go to John Deere 1025 accessories on ebay, the guy selling them should show up....I really think by now he should be sending me some sort of commission, LOL! Just kidding, glad I could help out and thanks for watching Woody.
Where can I get the front axle relief valve dipstick?
Sorry, not sure why I didn't see this message earlier, look on eBay, "John Deere 1025 accessories". The guy's marketing for the part is a little suspect. Thanks for watching.
You have a lot of nice upgrades on your tractor. Are you a MTF member?
Yes sir, been since 2013, but the forum on SCUTS seems somewhat inactive, while the GT forum is very active, it's weird.
@@FloridaDeere I joined in 2007. Lot of changes there over the years. I'm mostly in the JD GT forum.
@@waynehouck1157
what are you guys talking about, can you send me link or something about the forums
where did you find the 4wd selector rod?
I have listed all the links in the description, the 4X4 lever is one of the eBay links. The guy also sells the traction lock pedal and the front axle relief valve dip stick.
I can't get your links to work, can you give a website, non ebay please.
@@FloridaDeere
How did you attach your triangle reflector to the back of your seat?
It came that way from the dealer. I haven't messed with it since. Thanks for watching.
@@FloridaDeere Interesting, my 2022 model is mounted on the far left of the tractor. Looks much better centered on the seat I think.
@@skoffco Yep, in 2019, that's how they came. They also came much cheaper in 2019, I got lucky, super lucky.
Where did you get the axel vent
on eBay, search John Deere 1025 accessories and it's the same guy that sells the traction lock pedal and the 4X4 lever, I think his name is Robert.
Where did you purchase the axle pressure relief valve?
From one of the guys on the Facebook page. There may be a more direct link, but on eBay, it's under John Deere 1025 accessories I believe
Not trying to pick at your video which is solid. Where is your ROPS? Stuff happens and it happens fast
It's been on and off and on again and again. It's a struggle, true stuff happens, but one has to decide if hitting stuff and limiting the tractor's access to things is worth the rare, but important safety benefit. It is currently on and I may have adjusted/figured enough things out to make it work keeping them on, however, they are slanted towards the rear giving some but not total protection. Having them straight up makes the tractor basically unusable for my property with the restrictions it has. Thanks for watching James.
All the links to everything you did except the ones I want... LOL
because you can find it yourself, SMH
Which ones were you looking for? Maybe I can track them down.
