Good video but I wish you would have included the Kioti in the dirt pile at the end.

Hey nice video. You went through a lot of details. I had the Kubota BX23S and now have a John Deere 1025R. The video showed the 1023E. I liked the BX23S but prefer the 1025R. Since I had the Kubota I thought I would add a few little details from things I saw in your video.
Kubota offers an optional bucket level indicator. It's simple to install and works just like on the John Deere. The Kubota loader stand is suppose to be raised and lowered with the loader raised and it works in conjunction with the curl of the bucket. It's simple to use and you never leave the seat. You simply didn't understand how it works when you demonstrated it.
As for the battery, I have to say it's much easier to service on the Kubota. With the John Deere, it's hard to reach down to get to the terminals and to remove and replace you have to remove a headlight. That cover on the Kubota is pretty easy to take on and off.
I don't notice much of a difference between the air filter canisters. The Kubota canister is a lot easier to open and close. Both have filters and pre-filters. The pre-filter is optional on the Kubota.
As for the PTO engagement, I actually liked the manual handle on the Kubota better. The switch on the John Deere is harder to engage and disengage when wearing winter gloves while snow blowing.
John Deere definitely has more safety features. While the shifting to neutral to start on the John Deere is safer, it's definitely more annoying. I never had an issue with that on the Kubota and I think most operators like to ignore the safety features but I understand why.
Some things were not mentioned like the fuel gauge. Both the Kioti and Kubota have fuel gauges on the main instrument cluster. The 1025R has a very small manual float type gauge on the fender. It works but it's not as nice.
The top link holder was missing on the Kubota BX. It's a small bracket that moves in and out on where the top link attaches to the tractor. It's a simple design that works well. Someone took it off and didn't put it back on. That would be a simple part to replace.
I also wanted to briefly discuss the parking brake. The John Deere 2023 year models have the new parking brake handle. While at first it looks like an upgrade over the old system with the handle on the console I find that the parking brake lever really takes away valuable space on the operators station (it gets in the way of your legs) and that its difficult to get it to fully disengage. I find on my 2023 1025R that I think its off but it's still just one click on. It's really annoying and I wish I could go back to the old system. This is one area where I think the Kubota system is better.
While not shown in the video, I think a killer feature of the John Deere 1023E and 1025R is the drive over mower deck. It's one of my favorite features.
All in all it was a nice video. Like you mentioned, all of the tractors are great machines. It's nice to see some detailed comparisons.

why did you leave the Kioti out of several tests?

It was due to time. The Kioti came in after we planned to do this. We only included it at all since it happened to be there
