Doctor's ABANDONED $1,500,000 Mansion with BMW M5 Left Behind | $$$ Art Still Inside

- Hidden in plain sight in the middle of a prestigious neighborhood sits a $1.5 million dollar abandoned mansion last occupied by a prominent doctor in the area, the man not only was a doctor but a car enthusiast and race car driver, and when the home was abandoned so was the BWM M5 in the garage. The man and his beloved wife purchased the mansion in 1996 and added their own personal eccentric touches with new paint on the walls and abstract artwork all throughout as well as hundreds of various diecast collectible cars scattered everywhere. After doing extensive research we were unable to find out exactly what happened here. A nearby neighbor told us that they would always see him driving around in a Porsche that he took very well care of. But they also state that in 2015 they saw him putting things in a truck, loading his Porsche up and leaving only to never come back. After some years the neighbors became suspicious of the property becoming overgrown. When police were called to do a wellness check they discovered the home had been abandoned and found a squatter living inside. After noticing the harsh conditions of the home it was then condemned and left forgotten. So join me today and let’s see what’s left.

The doctor abandoning his home like this is the kind of thing you do when you are running for your life.
Or maybe he was killing people ? And knew cops were closing in on him . Could be …
FUGITIVE
Yup, that's the same conclusion I came up with. Clues, the lights are still on, mortgage and taxes must be still paid. The dude got involved with some shady deals. As a result, he went into hiding , in my opinion...
Darealdeal
What of his wife ? Family members?
@@XN01R Not sure...
Don’t care about the artwork and decor (looks like Beetlejuice inside) but abandoning your family pets with no way for them to get out and they starve and die is cruelty beyond measure!!!
😂🙌🏽 I thought it looked very Beetlejuice-esque as well! Deyyyy-O! 🎶
Agreed about the pets no excuses…that’s just cruel. You would think a Doctor would know better…
That's the part that really disturbs me. Couldn't he, at the very least, put them outside to give them a chance to find a new home or get taken to a shelter or pound. Even if they had to be euthanized, that would have beem far more merciful than slowly starving to death while deprived of any companionship, which would have caused the poor kitty so much emotional distress on top of everything else. 🥺😔
Exactly as a medical professional a doctor no less, he of all people should know what happens and what a miserable death starvation is, they were domestic cats not feral…he sure didn’t hesitate to take his precious Porsche with him…I wouldn’t doubt if he was running for his life, I don’t know him or his situation but judging how he treated his family pets…makes you wonder
this is so insane! I can’t believe he left his pets - what do you think he’d do to you as your doctor? 😮😮😮
Oh those poor poor furbabys how can anyone leave their baby's behind 😢
Owner may have gone to hospital and died without family or friends to save the animals.
Pet door. If no one to help, pets can escape outside.
He found a furbaby passed away in bathroom how sad 😔 I have furbaby she my everything
but the neighbors said he packed and left. He left them behind
@@Ajgarcia644 Maybe he was forced to pack and leave against his will?
I’d rather rip off my limbs than leave my pets behind!! That is so CRUEL!!
Yes it’s 😭
I just wonder why he didn’t let the poor animals out since he was leaving so awful poor things
what a sad way to die for the animals!! inhumane, selfish owners.
I agree. That makes me think he planned to come back, and didn't?
Yes, I feel so sad for those Poor cats. Do you think the squatter could’ve fed them??
@@deborahculverl2760probably died long before the squatter even showed up
Unless DNA was conducted on the cat bones, no way to say for sure it was the owners cat. Often times stray animals get in and die.
I can see someone squatting temporarily to get out of the elements. But to pee in bottles and let them build up like that is sickening ! And to go in someone else's home and destroy it the way the squatter did this place is pure disrespect.
Why do they destroy a place they are living in? If you find a very nice, extremely comfy house, with electricity (!) you'd think they would take at least a little care with it. If I were homeless I'd feel like I won the lottery!
I agree. Imagine how long the squatter was living there with that collection. And to haul all those cases of water in there just seems crazy too.
@@billl1127 Whoever it was was sure stocked up on water but what did they eat? Did the doctor come back and hide out there if he was on the run?
@@LVADnotVLAD81517, because they are on drugs.
Cops need to remove the squatter!
Please people plan ahead for emergencies with your pet. I’ve seen in my profession (healthcare) this happen when a patient comes to hospital unconscious and/or confused (or dies) without any family or friends. Your beloved pets will die hungry and alone if you don’t make a plan.
Great advice. I hate they were left behind. It all seems to have been something that the doctor couldn't control. It's like he was forced to leave in a hurry and leave them behind.
@@AuntieL_ATL Why didn't the neighbor lodge a missing report?
@@marilynschmidt6400They did--a few years later! Who waits years to check on someone?! I can't believe the city didn't get involved when the grass got high!
Words Very Well Spoken 💯🐾🐾
Except this guy packed up and left. It may have been the squatters pets
With all of the abandoned mansion should be filled with our soldiers that have been living on our streets sence the military have no place for them. It's a shame we build them up send them over seas to fight wars. And they get forgotten like yesterday's pancakes. And I mean every man standing, black, brown, red, white. Yellow. . I have more Respect for every man in uniform that includes police. Sheriff, state, Firer, Doctor, nurses, . God Bless every.last one.of you. 🙏❤️
I strongly agree with you I have the up most respect for all of them to. No Veteran should be homeless in this country. I feel the government failed them.
Why are our soldiers living on the streets?
That's a great idea. Many of them would be clean despite their battle scars. Shame on that squatter.
Do you ever take anything from the houses that you visit?
I’m confused why don’t they get accepted for disability?….
When I see you walk through these houses I can imagine what they looked like clean and the people living in there going on about their life. This house was beautiful what a waste.
I hope some one takes all the art pieces, statues and collectible cars and donates them to a museum. And donates the clothing and shoes to a homeless shelter. That was an Awesome home at one time!
In case it hasn't been mentioned yet, that "record player" is actually a record lathe (used for cutting records from other music sources). And the module on the ground is a pretty nice tube amplifier. Nice find!
Yeah it's possible that it's a Wylson turntable?
With squatters in and out, I’m really shocked that the expensive equipment hadn’t been stolen and sold by now 😮
In all actuality, you gotta think about it. Those probably weren’t squatters like that but you’re thinking about. They probably just needed a place to go specially if they didn’t sell all that beautiful beautiful artwork and collectables around the house or maybe they did we just didn’t get enough time.
I'm wondering if the owner himself had come back at some point and was hiding out in there from the law or someone else. Homeless people wouldn't have left those valuables in there. JMO
@@MissX905don’t generalize. Most homeless people aren’t thieves
Wow I just want to say how fascinated I was watching this and watching live. Bigbankz does some amazing work looking and finding these homes. But also he puts so much into making these videos. The artwork was so beautiful. I hope those poor animals didnt suffer.
So how much of the stuff that's in these houses do you keep
Of course they likely suffered. Sad alone abandoned and dying of starvation/lack of water and in filth. Poor things left behind by an incosiderate evil owner. The animals likely gave the husband and wife lots of love back then for him to just say "To heck with you cats, I'm out of here"
@@MissX905 so sad those poor animals. How can someone become cruel.
Saddly, people who have all this money and stuff are not necessarily good people. I'm an animal lover. No matter how fast you have to leave, you never leave your pets to fend for themselves.
When it all comes down to it, something became more important to this person, or they may have died in an accident or something.
Was a lovely house and seemed like their was a lot of life in there. I still wonder sometimes what these people might have done to have to run away.
I really love your respect for these homes and your feelings for the pets.
Art in bathroom by Mose T, an African-American folk artist from Alabama. Definitely an audio room... Tube amp on the floor and component rack by the turntable. Pegasus art in living room by Peter Max. Poor cat didn't deserve to be left behind.
11:25 I agree about the room. Homeowner prolly dabbled with another expensive hobby.
I never understood this...when things of value are left behind, why can't they be maybe auctioned off and the funds donated to charity?
So no one has seen anyone coming in with cases of water ?? That's bizarre in itself
I was wondering the same, literally dozens of water by the case, had to be a vehicle coming and going.
Tragic, sad and disturbing. The poor cat. The art work was interesting.
Just makes you want to know more about this doctor and his wife. What a mystery. Something sketchy or not.
The speakers are Martin Logan Electrostatic speakers. The stack of electronics was only a view of the side. Bryston and Audio Research I could make out though. Probably $20,000 range when new. Used value probably $5,000 currently. Paused to comment and watched more. Now I see a Krell Amplifier on the floor. Very nice sounding equipment !
I was like wow those were electrostatics and tube amps. Guy was an audiophile.
That exactly what I came up with. Cool
Someone of such wealth just loads up rooms with stuff then bails out. Very strange, almost sinister if wife not mentioned in departure. No one leaves a home with extremely expensive artwork, electronics, fridge full of food and sadly family pets without something nefarious going on. Would love to know the real story behind that. Great job Big Banktz!! You're very respectful.🙏
😮
There was never any feminine touch in that home , minus her being present in ONE small photo, I don’t imagine she ever lived to see that home .not one single feminine touch in the home other than what designers or housekeepers did, but no lady of the home .its his taste and style and toys all over
@@kate4biglittlevoices Sounds awesome.
@kate4biglittlevoices And then there was the drawerful of gay pornography.
Witness Protection program, Killed his wife, Mob Doctor w a contract on his head, went insane?
Many times I see these abandoned home videos, I'd love to hear the back story, if there is one.
I'd love to know the back story on this one for sure !!
Have a hard time believing this is a mystery. You have the address and owners name and info. A simple property and tax record search will give you who is paying the tax and who owns this house. No way this guy just disappeared and I’m sure a visit to the ATL archives could provide a death certificate or other leads. A search of his medical license will give you where he practiced medicine and a ton of other information.
It would be wonderful to see all of that artwork and other valuable things auctioned off and the money go to the County animal shelter.
When I hear people left their animals alone and abandoned it makes me FURIOUS!
I didn't care for the modern art work, but that being said it needs to be in a museum so others can enjoy it. Now the house itself is a truly beautiful brick built home. Wow, thank you for the tour of this gem.
I agree or sold and the money used for a charity like kids with illness like Cancer or other sickness. Or even the elderly.
It’s rare to see a house made out of pure bricks 🧱 instead of wood and paper.
Apparently Moset is Mose Toliver an acclaimed folk artist. saw some of his work going to $350 and up.
Dude some of those Mose artworks are $5000+++
Have you ever thrown up/ gagged from the things you see and smell in these houses? You remain so composed. And you touch with bare hands 😮
Would love for this home to be saved to be loved again and make memories
Whos paying the light bill cause if i dont pay for 60 days they shut it off
my thought exactly
I wonder about that too
My first thought. It’s weird
Probably on autopay. If no one is really using much the bill could be like $60/month and he may have had thousands in the bank account. That could last for years. No one is definitely handling his estate it seems.
@@AuntieL_ATL My electric bill isn't $30 even when I am home (unless it's july / august then it's $300)
So sad that no one checked on this person or his pets :(
The 'person' it seems skipped town, would be really interesting to know why.
@@mini4x If a homeless person had been in there they would have stole some of those valuables. Maybe the owner himself came back later he just made it look like he was leaving? Was he hiding out later in his own home?
I wonder if some of these people go into the witness protection program. I would never leave my pets behind.
That’s what I was thinking.
Now that makes really good sense😮
Wouldn't someone in the witness protection program ask if there are animals in the home tho? If it is that type of situation they are crazy to not ask.
It takes YEARS to customize a home like this, and alot of attention to detail. Then you abandon everything and leave in a day? Screams foul play..
How could you leave your animals behind😡 thats horrible.😢 poor kitty❤️
Many single elders go to hospital without friends or family to save or even know about pets. This especially happens when the patient comes in unconscious. It’s terribly sad. Folks include your pets in all emergency planning.
@@jivajenmoreno-adams9984 exactly but this guy apparently packed up and left and leaving his cat behind. Unfortunately lots of people abandon their animals. Just terrible 😢
Etremely cruel to leave the pets behind to starve to death! 😡 😡
It would be hard to resist grabbing some items and trying to sell them 😅
The guy looked pretty old in the picture. Maybe he passed away and didn't have any family. The fact that the lights are still on is crazy. Maybe bills are on auto pay and his bank accounts are still active because no one knows he deceased. Very strange and sad.
The”Fannie pack”. Was actually a cummerbund for a tux.
Th3 dead pets are so sickening. The 80s theme is off the scale, especiallythe artwork. The E34 M5 is worth a fortune. Great explore.
I wonder if he was a witness to something and he had to go into a Witness Program. They can not take hardy anything with them. I hope those items can be taken out and sold and money going to charity before it is torn down.
This is a good assumption. However, even then they would have took care of his cats, right? This looks more to me like an abduction or some foul play.
This is truly sad....What can make someone to just up and leave all their things and pets too...Those poor pets left to die....So sad!
Death and emergency hospitalization without social support system. It happens.
Pet door. No excuse for this situation.
You should shut that heater off and any electric that might be on
Judging by the advanced age of the couple in the photos, and how old the contents are, I suspect the owners / original inhabitants are passed by now. Maybe even passed while living there. Wonder if it was the man / wife that were the hoarders or whoever was living there since then...
That's what I'm thinking.
As a fellow Oklahoman, I really appreciate you doing these videos.
That was a music listening room.
Those speakers are every bit of $10k with of Martin Logan Electrostatic series speakers.
From what I saw quickly in the video there was about $25k or more of audio equipment in that room.
No doubt! Looks like some very high end rack mount components. That amp stack on the floor is $. Those things on the floor you asked about are tube amplifiers...Nice!! Wonder why he left and what ever happened to him!? Strange!!!
Surprised the squatter didn’t steal and pawn that stuff! 😮
@@GenXfrom75he probably didn’t know he was dealing with. I bet that cables alone are worth big bucks.
Poor pets left like that, they must have suffered. I wonder where he went and why.. An interesting house, thanks for the tour.
*Please Read and Re-Watch*
Pay attention to the following: Homosexual Material (Magazine & Unchained Men VHS), Male anatomy artwork in the bedroom (no female), No feminine products inside the household (perfume, clothes, hair & nail products). Inside the closet (all male clothing). Judging by the clothing it does not scream and older male, possibly middle aged leaving me to believe the people in the photos are relatives (possibly parents). So, despite neighbor's claims I am led to believe there was no female in the home, this was a middle-aged gay man. Processing situations and scenarios the house and the pets would have been dealt differently with in the event of a death, protective services, etc. I am led to believe this man evaded the country due to troubles with the IRS. (I could be wrong, but strongly believe so)
Agreed!! Except idk if when he left he knew he would never be back. But definitely see no signs that a woman lived there 🤔
Yep. Def gay. If he had a “wife”, he would not have stored those VHS tapes in the living room for her to easily find.
Who knows the squatter could have let the animals in.
That BMW is mint 👌🏼🏴
One thing I’ll say for big bankz He always respects the property!!
Public records search can disclose who owned the place. Or even running the License Plate on the car.
I hope before they destroy it, they'll get people to come in and salvage a lot of the art and collectibles. It's just sad that people have been in there and trashed it.
A “doctor” who sworn to “do no harm” left his poor fur babies to die??? WT-??? He was competent to pack and leave but didn’t give a dam about his poor pets who didn’t deserve this.
I feel the same way😥😥😥
Yes, the hippocratic oath. I hope you’re as outraged by those doctors who kill the unborn.
You should look up the VCR movie you found in the living room lol! I see no signs other than the 2 pictures that a woman even lived in that house at all. If he was married, it was very odd.
Oh right! Like there were no items that scream a lady was even living there. Shoes, clothes, sundries/toiletries…..My theory, he was married and his wife left after the “discovery” of an alternate lifestyle (that VHS movie). Thinking he ran off quite some time ago because of that lifestyle.
From the masculine colors to all the vehicle related items, the high-end stereo equipment that’s mantown. Gay porn and the statues in the master bedroom with the cornered bed tell the story. I didn’t see any female clothes in that closet either.
To the people talking about animal cruelty, the dead animals are not necessarily pets they could have just got into the house and couldn't get out.
He said at the beginning that the pets were left in the house. 😞
If it was black it was probably the owners-picture
There were litter boxes in the kitchen. Squatters don’t usually bring litter boxes.
@@RethaGreen-ce5ve it looks like it was in there for a long time so it was just a skeleton
@@AuntieL_ATL Doesn't mean they left their cat to fend for itself
I think it would be nice if you'd show more of the exterior and yard.
The exterior will give more insight into the architecture of the structure being shown. And showing the property(yard) of dwellings more often , makes the videos very intriguing, and adds a cool touch of cozy.
If YOU agree, press the like button!😌🤙🏻
The art is beautiful, i can imagine it in its prime!! Thank you for getting the story before hand. I am new to your channel and you put amazing work into videos.
As someone that also goes abandoned building adventuring, it bothers me when squatters mess stuff up. When they leave trash everywhere. Ive been to two places here in my town the walls were distroyed wires taken out, the other one had booze bottles all over and clothes.
Tell you what i rather find a dead animal than come across a live human. Came across a squater scared the living lights out of us. He was all quiet walking fast to us until i turned around then he slowed down he didnt say a word to us.
Dead animals may be strays. May have gone in to get shelter and got lost or stuck. It is sad though.
This is an amazing find!! Thank you for sharing this experience with us!! Glad you travel in a group because like i said earlier finding a dead animal is less scary than a live human. Not sure what would have happened if there wasnt three of us in that find.
So much beauty left behind. Must have been something very important to leave that behind💫
There was a menorah above the tv on the book shelf. Interesting.
Really interesting stuff in this place! Not a good person if he can leave behind his pet. Sickening that people have used this place and left it the way they did.
Well, the expensive stuff wont be there long now that this video is up 😂
A man and his wife? Yeah, the Colt stash, HRC poster and other things point otherwise. IYKYK.
So a male lover? I found that odd to those videos in there. Maybe it was the lover who left and not the old man?
Dude how do you find these?! Every place I have ever explored has been vandalized to all hell. I hope to someday find a place like the ones you explore and leave it as nice as I found it.
This one was @cam_urbex find! But I just search and search for hours and then check them!
@BigBankz what country was this in? So many huge discrepancies with the narrative. If you talked to neighbors then you'd know owners name right? Also Police would've filed a missing person event, given the circumstances.
This is another abandoned house to explore and
to learn the history about before it is totally demolished

Wow this is incredible. Older M5 too. So many things left behind. Great Video
It's so sad to abandon pets like that. Also leaving that house full of stuff and the M5 is mind blowing!!
That painting over the fireplace signed max, is Peter Max! Worth a fortune!
E34 M5 - so 88-95 - arguably the last 'Real' M5 that was still hand built by BMW M GmbH. Probably worth a few nickels.
why last real?
@@pedrofreitas2546 people claim last "real" M5 because they were the last ones that were hand assembled. Great cars no doubt but it doesn't make other models of M5 less "real". So I don't fully agree with this argument.
@@crherniman thank you very much for the answer, didn't know this
This video brings me to tears!!! It makes me sooo tremendously sad to see this once spectacular place turned into someone’s toilet 😞😢😰 I would love to be able to clean it all up, refresh the paint, sell the artwork & Beemer…those things alone would probably give you enough to pay cash for the property 👍💕 The saddest part for me is to know that all of the expensive artwork & his car, are destined for destruction & waste…when, if he’d have planned his exit strategy, he could have sold, donated or given away everything, down to his clothing…there are people out there who would certainly use, need & appreciate these items!!! His wife was apparently organized as evident by her immaculate, organized cabinets!!! Either vandals or squatters seem to be responsible for most of the disgust in this place!!! I certainly hope that whoever is in charge of this property, has the good sense to sell & donate the profits to charity, give to a museum or library or donate the items in this place, so that someone can get good use of them!!! It makes me wonder what would cause his hasty retreat…mental illness, a legal matter concerning his practice??? Whatever the reason, my heart goes out to the situation!!! It was animal abuse not to make sure that the cat was looked after…may it’s soul Rest In Peace!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful, even though sad, adventure with us Carter…I loved it 👍🙏💕
Roof needs work as it is leaking.
Interesting how the modem and space heater have been running all these years and are still working?
11:05 is a HIFI tube amplifier. Tubes make the sound more real life and three dimensional. The steel rack has other amplifiers, preamplifiers and a phono preamp for the record player. The record players shelf is built into the wall to reduce vibrations of the player during playback to improve the sounds. This guy was an audiophile.
Those amplifiers and equipment, our audio research. It looks like, and the speakers look like it's Martin. Logan and they're a very high end one of those amplifiers could be over five thousand

That thing you thought was a record player was a projector. The round part was where the film roll went.

Something about this house gives me the creeps. Idk what, exactly but it's eery.
Dude some of those art pieces are $1000+ dollars!! I really hope this stuff doesnt get scrapped.
It’s so sad to see this big house that was once made me semi clean but now it’s so destroyed with all this stuff trashed all over. The artwork is really nice. I’m a person who majored in art and I really love this was a nice video.
I wonder if the dr was in trouble is why he left. Did you Google his name to see if you could find him?
Sad to see it go to waste.
I was wondering the same thing. It does not seem he left that stuff (and his pets) on his own. I think he was definitely forced to leave, but just speculating.
It's doubtful that a Doctor would abandoned his house and leave a living animal locked up in it on purpose. The picture that showed the Doctor indicates he was an older gentleman so it's more than possible that something must have happened to him that prevented him from returning. Anyone set on demolishing this house would be out of their minds if they didn't save the artwork first. Very nice explore, thank you for sharing.
So sad. No relatives?

I’d venture to say this has GOT to be one of MY FAVORITE EXPLORES… THANKS for SHARING 👌🏿
Those huge speakers cost 20,000 back in the later 80's and that was a record player also known as turn table, the other item on the floor was the insides of an older radio. I hope this helps 🙏
Pretty sure it’s a tube amplifier. Used by audiophiles.
You do such a great job in presenting these videos. It's so sad to see that people just walk away from such beautiful homes, etc, and to make the sadness more heartbreaking leaving everything that once was important to them. I often wonder why such people had not contacted some cherished friend(s), relatives and offered to give or sell items. I will never truly understand such reasoning; however, I am sure they had such reasons for walking away from such beauty. Again, you do such a great job in pressenting these videos.
My fav house you’ve done. Could care less about the art. The bones and rooms are great. I’d love to inhabit it. After a massive cleaning of course.
Just straight to the point, whatever this family accumulated
possessions won’t matter they abandoned their property for some reasons…
Has anyone tried to locate were the doctor and his wife have gone. It's ashame they have left so much valuable items behind. With the homeless people around homes like this would be an ideal place .
That is such a shame that some of these homes just get left to rot😢
It would be so totally interesting to know the history that's why that doctor left all of his belongings and those poor pets. I have never understood why people feel they need to have a large home and fill it up to be happy. Why was the house condemned?
Enjoyed very much thank you for sharing.
How could he left those poor fur babies.
The speakers in that room are called Martin Logan Ascent I’s.
Here the amplifiers are using “tube amps” they heat up because of how much power the speakers require they actually glow. The speakers in the amount of equipment that was sitting in there all of those which are rack mountable amplifiers that whole system was probably around $100k back in 2000-2007. That room was a listening room for sure that’s all that the very wealthy use them for the record players a good sign of that. That guy knew his stuff Company that would’ve sold that up north would’ve been Tweeter, HighFiBuys, or Sound Advice. You wanted to know that’s it!
Irrespective of the profession this guy was in, maybe he just had huge debt and just left it all behind including the mortgage.Maybe his wife died and he couldn't stand to be there anymore. There is a lot of stuff that he spent a lot of money on. Maybe he got sick and died in a healthcare facility and thus never returned. Urine does get dark when it is very old in a container. Great video. Thank you.
I would unplug those heaters
Squaters use them
all those diecast cars are worth so much money
