@@gardensofthegodsI actually googled Hugo Kellen, and nothing comes up for me. I found out his name from another UA-cam person who is an explorer also.
Cant they go through archive pasenger list of flights at the time of his dissapearance feel he may have returned to Asia to find inner peace _^ no family members left to inherit house amd contents? If not a museum should be created in his memory
It's dope to see places like this. It makes me realize that at the end of the day, no matter what you got in this world, we're all just simple mortals. So, be a good person and respect others, no matter their race, religion, or whatever. Just be a good human being!
Just because it's on canvas, doesn't mean it belongs in a museum, nor does it mean it's art at all. This house exhibits such an over indulgence in any and every whim of the owner, it makes me wince. And he was in NO way a Buddhist, even if he called himself that. Like every irresponsible, eccentric hoarder who has too much money, it will be left to someone else to clean up his abandoned mess. As the song goes, "everybody has a broken heart", but that's not an excuse for giving up on caring about what you've created, leaving it to others to deal with. I mean, how is anyone supposed to get a bulldozer up there to clean it up?
One can’t help but suspect that “You” are projecting “your” own inner conflicts here. 🧐🤔Because your comment is incongruent with this particular man’s life style… from what I’ve gleaned here… this man’s indulgence was in freely expressing himself. It’s was strictly creative in nature…. 👀🧐
My mind can't fathom how cool this guys life must have been, he looks like he lived his life to the fullest .... makes me feel like I have not used my time on Earth fully.
Being an artist myself I was enchanted with this show. I do wish that someone nice would get the house and all within and save and restore that man's home and art work.
Someone, please, save that stuff, it’s incredible! It does need a local historian, or art historian, to go through and catalog and preserve what they can. Great video.
The man is still alive living overseas. He has a son from a long ago short marriage, whom I would think will take over once the man passes away. He is 92 at this time.
If you read further down in the comments, the owner is alive. He commented here. I understand what he desires. He’s an artist and creates for himself. He’s not materialistic and by leaving his art and possessions to naturally deteriorate is an artistic expression of himself. It’s his form of peace. How beautiful. If we never knew about his house, we would never know. It’s none of our business. I see the beauty.
@@OrphanAnnie681 nah, im the same way, love things and find passion in things. and then sometimes i lose that attachment to just things and am able to move on to other things in my life that are new without being sad that the past was left
He left it and can’t bear to go back. His love died in the kitchen fire. He’s alive. You can buy a custom painting to this day. He’s 92. As far as I know he is living in Europe but he does have a website. He’s unhappy people go in that house. It’s a source of pain to him.
sometimes i feel you dont have the right to go thought these places, and then again it is such a marvel to witness it,and that things should be preserved, that's respect to
I believe when you reach a certain zen you just have knowing that all this material stuff is just dead weight and keeps ones soul tethered down....its the journey not the destination. What a beautiful soul. Freefall wherever you are. ❤
I dont know why, but my heart hurt just a little bit watching this. So much beauty here, in the form of different creations, instilling a strange kind of longing to know the magical soul the dreamt there ❤. Nostalgia is the word.
This young man gives me hope. He is respectful and in awe of the past. His cameraman does an excellent job and doesn't rush things. They make us feel as though we are actually exploring with them. In addition, he respects the properties and doesn't dox them (reveal their exact location) so that vandals and thieves don't come in to steal and destroy. Kudos to these young people! Keep these videos coming!
Trouble is coming cause there is gold and silver all over that place as well as priceless art, everything! I'll guarantee that there's Andy warhol cause they were friends
Even more of the need to get the property secured and the stuff what is salvageable gotten off the premises. The rest should go into a big dumpster. Hire a person who knows what the good, the bad and the ugly need to go.
Someone needs to catalog and preserve all these precious and interesting artifacts. It would be terrible to let mold and time destroy everything. Fascinating explore.
It's a shame that all that beautiful artwork will not be seen by others. He is an amazing person and artist. Beautiful! beautiful! Artwork, history, and culture. He traveled the world and created his own artwork inspired by his travels, very opened minded person. Dolores
I thought I heard the guy say the owner had no next of kin. Regardless of one opinion or the other, this house and it's contents should NOT be left to rot. I make guitars. I would love some of that old aged wood to make some instruments. I wonder how the owner would feel about that?
Thank you for a rare gem of a tour. I have read some articles about the owner. One says he and his adopted brother were reunited. They lived in the house together, and his brother was on display after he passed away at the house. The owner still pays the taxes on the property. That is why no one can make any claims. Such a beautiful home.
At the beginning when they enter the house there is a coffin there. They said that when the friend died, the friend was laid out in that house . Then the coffin was left behind when they moved the body to wherever it was buried. The whole thing doesn't make sense to me. So, what did they put the body in to transport it to the cemetery. I can't see a dead body being lifted out of a coffin and then what do another coffin? @@Sheila-sv1ue

He is clear he don’t want that. He left after the kitchen fire took his love. Hes alive in Europe still. Hes not happy people are going in as it’s something he can’t face. Hes been known to complain to UA-cam when he finds a video. Hes 92 and very much alive.
I’m excited and hopeful that he is in fact still around, and he keeps his word on his showings in Singapore and Paris. He didn’t fit the norm, or society’s norm that is, and did everything his own way, unapologetically. A true artist.

28:50 I think it’s called a butlers pantry. It being built in 1901 means there were people that worked within the home to keep it running!! Cooking, cleaning, everything
Kind of like a mandala, the monks spend lots of time building a beautiful piece of art from different colors of sand then destroy it to show they're not attached to physical things.
You are such a nice person, so respectful of the property you explore. I love that you have a scripture verse in the beginning of videos. Blessings to you ❤
Did you see the tall speakers up in the rafters??? Can you imagine how BEAUTIFUL the music would have sounded acoustically in that room?!!! Wow. Unreal.
That is a true coffin, body shaped. A casket is the rectangular shape. What an amazing home. Artists sometimes have many different thoughts going on so what looks like chaos is actually genius.
Artist boughr two coffins when his brother died. one for hinselfor when he died having no one to arrange getting one for him. Family tradition and must be Oak. It was mostly disgyised as a hall table but exposed, trashing the artifacts on top by vandals. He got them from a Trappist Monasteryy in Ohio that the monks mske and each one sold they hold a special Mass for the deceased. The crosses have their names chisseled on them and are removable. Both crosses are in his Tibetan Study. It was sealed but vandals beoke in. Priceless stuff in there. A lot of valuable gem stones. family jewely looks stolen. worth a fortune!
The coffin his partner was displayed in and rested in remains. He was buried in another coffin of finer wood a while later, the following January. He also wasn't embalmed.
Thank you for sharing this mansion of such a creative person. This man is truly free to leave everything ashes to ashes dust to dust. Especially in a society that is so addicted to stuff.
Wow. This reminds me of my grandparents home. They did a world cruise when my dad was 14 in 1928-29. Gone for 6 months. That was their longest trip. They sent back all kinds of beautiful things, including rugs.
I am amazed that this man was forgotten. The house is magnificent and hopefully some Millionaire/Billionaire will turn it into a museum. This is astonishing that it hasn't been done. The art is beautiful. I can't imagine what this cost would be to reframe any of those pieces $$$$😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
Too old to clean up that massive place!! Would love some of the carpets, art, bric a brac & books. What a collection!! Wow! Having a organ in your home! I think the house was just too full. Easier to pull up roots & move. Hopefully he willed it to someone who will appreciate it or make sure it's preserved for prosperity.
You would have to get some of the roof repaired, as well as the badly rotted floors repaired which would cost a fortune. That may have been the reason why he left.
It’s too dangerous for the general public. It needs to be condemned. All the items need to be carefully recovered and catalogued. There’s lots of antiquity in that place worth millions.
An Amazing Wow of a place...Mind bogglingling just how creative, if you look at it like the inside of his mind. .I inherited that 1 giant old dictionary on the special stand..Even mine has it's own little antique table. I do "get it" & sadly one can't take it with them. I will be forever floored by that pipe organ in his crumbling home ...He likely played among his other many endevors finding his "Zen" on earth.
The pipe organ and the huge loom for making fabrics and rugs were my favorite parts. This man was/is an amazing human being! What an amazing house this is!
I'm Australian and I've been to Bali several times like a lot of Aussies, so I knew what the mask was immediately. I also travelled from Bali to East Kalimantan on the island of Borneo (on a very scary plane lol) and we travelled up the Mahakam River to Central Borneo. One night we went to an ancient healing ceremony performed by witch doctors dressed in similar garb. It was pretty intense, VERY hot and humid and VERY loud drums and music, it was pretty overwhelming.
A wise person here said the items should be preserved in a museum. The house itself should be transformed into a museum. Saved and restored and could be a beautiful educational tool for a time gkne by. It is so sad to see it rotting away. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Everything left behind from a very adventurous life brings a feeling of sadness. We can’t take it with us and in some cases, there is nobody to pass our stories and artifacts on to. 🥺
Legacy doesn't mean a damn thing anyway ... because eventually, that will be gone too. Even those inbred 'elite' families who try and keep it from happening will eventually fade away too. ... Dust in the Wind Yo!
I know the house well visited him many times ...played the Tracker organ on the third floor that he cut open the attic floor to install ...very cool artist
No way! That's amazing- is the story as people are telling it true? What can you tell us? We heard he used to throw crazy parties. How so was he able to keep his business running in wherever this is in a small place or did he leave everything and go there to create? I'm just very curious? Please tell us that he did not keep his partners body in the house- it's absurd, right?
That is impressive and so interesting, that you had first hand experience with this man. Please do not give out his name, it will only bring horrid people that have no respect for other's things and will ransack it, I would hate to hear that that has happened. Thank you for your most interesting story. I have wondered what those square additions that were added off the upper floors.
Great video. Artistic people are not like your average person. They are in their own world. Always learning. Always creating. Their eyes see things most people overlook. The instrument in the prayer room with the long neck with the giant bowl on the end is a sitar. I believe George Harrison learned to play one.
This is the most amazing mansion I have ever seen. How cool that you found this. But the man who owns this is very, very eccentric as you said. I can’t imagine the thought process behind these art pieces. He is definitely a different kind of person for sure. Looks like he has experienced life to the fullest extent possible. A great find. Thanks for sharing.
Hahaha I laughed when you pointed to that vintage Apple computer and said look at this little monitor! I learned how to use a computer on one of those over 40 years ago. That thing is worth some money!
Well what can i say. Im absolutely blown away by this one. In fact im speechless 😱and trust me that is very rare! As has been previously said i agree that this should somehow be preserved. Kirtan pichwai and the lotus in the Indian art work is significant to the art work itself. This man was very into spirituality in all forms and a lot of thing’s you’ve shown all seem to represent positivity and light
I didn't like some of his paintings though with a lot of dark colors and black in them but a lot of the other things and all the Tibetan Buddhist and all the other Buddhist things and also a little bit of Hindu I think yes those were all beautiful and the rugs and the way he had it decorated even though he didn't always have the best tables he did have a way of decorating to make it very interesting . Yes he had many wonderful things including the pipe organ and the cello and the sitars
This man did the right thing for his life. I believe he left because this house did not bring him happiness anymore. He probably realized that material things were not bringing him happiness anymore and he could afford to go where he found happiness and leave everything behind. I honor him for this. I can see him not having any regrets and he is happy where he is now until he leaves this world.
Crazy BEAUTIFUL !! Pining over the art. Someone should definitely contact a gallery to get that out of there. Don't want them to mold up like his wool yarn and loom. Absolutely Stunning. Thank-You.
@Annie497He or she said a gallery and not a museum. There is a very big difference between the two. Perhaps you should fully read a comment before you make your remark. Additionally, the writer doesn't intend the moldy wool and loom for the gallery. The comment is a desire to conserve the art so it doesn't become moldy like these previously mentioned objects. Like the art of listening, it really helps if you take the time to fully read and comprehend what this writer is expressing before you prematurely shoot your load!
This is probably the absolute coolest video I’ve ever seen. You guys have shared such a beautiful amazing place that without yall we would probably never see. Thank you! Absolutely amazing video!!! You have done right by that man and sharing his story. The respect for that home is amazing too.
This could be the basis for a movie. Well done. TFS and your respect for this man’s home and legacy. I could spend weeks here just looking at the books, his photos, art and rugs and maybe reading some letters. ❤
The carpets were from different parts of the globe, maybe regions he visited. His own work was very different. Take a look at how carpets are produced. Very interesting to see the skill and time required. Rugs can be quickly hooked up together and look less intricate, more commercial and identical to each other.
He is still alive so only he can do something with this place until he passes away.. Then his next of kin will own it.. Yes he does have a next of kin.
@@janet7580IF he’s still alive. He disappeared in 2019. That’s five years ago. Maybe he went somewhere where no one would find him and died from a lonely heart because of his brother passing away from a heart attack. Doubtful he has kids or any other family.
I love this home and wish for this property and all items within the home to be cleaned up, restored and preserved. This is my favorite home so far that you've shared. Again, I dont think words can even describe everything I love about it; from the art to the cultural pieces to the old books to the overall architecture.... just an amazing piece of property.
@@lynndalton733fully aware of that detail, and I do not believe it is a major trespass. From what I’ve read in the comments he’s out of the country, most likely, and the area wants to tear the home down.
He made textiles and clothing with spicy colorful patterns using new techniques in the 60s and was ahead of the curve with his designs, even copied by bigger more well known luxury brands that still exist to this day from what I can gather. Seems like a feller that has had way more influence than what he is given credit for.
This is one of the most interesting things that I ever saw on UA-cam.bTY guys for bringing us this. It must've been awesome to walk through this home. It's more of an abandoned museum. ❤❤❤

There is something deeply moving, somber even, almost depressing about how this was all left. So many many personal treasures are placed lovingly, with such thought and care all around this home. In every inch, there is either space purposefully left or something taking up space with purpose. Each undoubtedly has its own story. Its own memory. This place clearly was bursting at the seams with love, life and energy at one point. And yet, it was all left where it stood. I understand there may even be the remains of a deeply loved individual buried on this very property? All left behind with the items, the home, and the land. For natural and time to take over, take its toll and change what once was, at will. Its really quite poetic in its own right...to put so much of one's time and energy into making such a glorious mansion a home. One that was truly LIVED in, and enjoyed. Only to walk away from it, for one reason or another. Maybe many reasons. Also its interesting how even with all of it and its belongings serving purpose in one way or another at one point in time, its also unfinished in many ways. Possibly unfinished on purpose of course. Exposed brick. Unsealed vaulted ceilings. Exposed beams and many other details lived in undone. Paired with such refinery of decor. How this home, how its ended up and how the story of the intriguing wildly interesting man who owned and lived here, and even his partner, all ended up. Once larger than life. Living life to the fullest. So much work put in. So much of ones self. And then..poof. Its no more. Seizing to exist in anyway other than the memories he took with him of this place, his partner and the times spent, had and celebrated and mourned here. Its funny if you think about it...Art really does imitate life. Especially when someone is an artist at heart, much like this man is. His life while here was living breathing art in motion. I think this quote by Howard Barker helps to summarize my interpretation of the choices this designer made and his story surrounding this home etc. ; "Tragedy is the greatest art form of all. It gives us the courage to continue with our life by exposing us to the pain of life. It is unsentimental, it takes us seriously as human beings, it is not condescending. Paradoxically, by seeing pain we are made greater, it becomes a need."
Un univers maximaliste, intriqué et fascinant. On l’explore comme un bigarré voyage à travers les pays , les époques , les dimensions artistiques et spirituelles. Merci à cet homme d’avoir créé ce lieu unique.
The coffin and zebra rug caught my eye first. The painting beside the coffin looks like a person raising the left hand in the middle of a fire. The car is a beauty. I love old cars. Thank you, Sir for this video! Your work is greatly appreciated. Bless you heart.❤️🙏🏽

Hi from the UK. The White and red flag is the St George's flag. It is the English flag. And the Union flag is the British flag. Wot an interesting place. Stay groovy Russell 😎
You know what's amazing about that organ? It's the fact that it was most likely installed in the house while the house was being built in 1901. That is crazy to think about. It's so sad that such a beautiful instrument was just left there to rot away. I truly hope that one day it gets saved along with all the artwork.
This was falling apart far before 2019 as the artist has been unable to keep up his home for a while now. It was stated that snow was coming into the bedroom upstairs way back in 2013
Best a banded home video ever. This is really cool, perfect place for a hippy colony with youth and craftsmanship to restore this old piece of history. It would take a lot of work to restore but doable with either a lot of money or some group that would live there and restore it. You past by a few areas outside that showed me that the outside was once a beautiful garden. He has to have heirs somewhere, maybe another country. Hopefully the beautiful art, musical pieces etc.. are saved before it’s to late. Their is a lot of value in the processions in the home. Maybe your wonderful video will spark the right interest to restore or at least save all the good stuff inside.
,im so happy i finally found this very intriguing man😊 he's like un his 90s so that answer the question why hes not living this massive mansion...he's too old to maintain this house and lots of m9ney too.. as we grow older we loose interest of material things....other youtuber filmed this place and said it was 2018 when he last saw people living here and that the man lived here have a reputation
That car is worth $152,000 fully restored. It has a 2.2 straight 6 engine with fuel injection. That's an awesome exploration find you found. I pray that no vandals find it!
The old boy would be about 92 if still alive as of 2024. If you dig you can find the back story on this pretty quick. Basically he had his 15 min of fame in the 1960s NY design scene & then retreated with his partner to this location. Lived an eccentric bohemian life (to include that house having never had running water or central heat).

This reminds me of The House on The Rock. Near Madison WI. So unique, and definitely an artist's house. I felt when walking through the House On the Rock, the man was slowly losing his mind as you got deeper into all his rooms and collections. Crazy! This is a great find, loved it!
I once read somewhere that most genius's suffer from some mental issues as they age, and/or drug addictions (including alcohol). But this guy must've been very energetic most of his life to accomplish all these incredible works of art.
There are too many ignorant comments left to mention from people who should just say nothing at all. If you don't like it don't watch it. It is very easy to sit and criticize something you don't do yourself. This UA-camr is trying to give you a glimpse into an abandoned mansion you otherwise would have known nothing about. Bankz gives you enough info to do your own research if you want to know more. If you don't like his comments you can watch it with no sound. Be respectful of his efforts to bring you this video in the first place.
Hey oh tall one you are respectful of persons and properties. I stopped watching others who were not. Sometimes I hear my mind screaming please save that but your calm respectful way is the best⚓️💕
@Annie497 Oh, annie, you don't respect anything. You have stated several places in the comments, how this man's art is not art. That it's basically trash, and it wouldn't belong in a museum. Because you said so. 😂 You're a wicked little imp.
36:46 that painting is awesome and very inspiring. While watching this i read through some comments. It amazes me how some people voice their negative thoughts aloud. The speculation of what they perceive. People who dont love art dont appreciate it and live in a dull world. Artists are eccentric and eclectic, as an artist myself I appreciate other artists.
28.33 I stopped at the painting right away and I felt energy. I saw two other faces in it. Ones on the ear of a woman with a hat on. The other is of a younger person in the eye. Great video guys.❤
I don't know what connections you have but these items need to be in a museum to be protected. Someone will eventually figure out where this is and steal everything. Please report it to someone who has the power to do something with it and share this mans story and talents wuth the world. ❤
What flows my mind is that if this has been abandoned for over a decade why has it not been ransacked and looted before this. Are you guys the very first people to ever discover this? Is it so well hidden and you guys are just such expert explorers that you're the first to find it? Not criticizing you but I'm just in awe and amazement! Keep up the excellent work!
I’m new to your channel and I Love the Bible verse at the beginning . I needed this verse today to settle my soul , thank you for putting Gods word out there and God bless and keep you🕊️
I identified a few things for you, below. If he left in 2019, the place was falling apart while he lived there. It looks as though it had been left to decay decades ago, and I'm wondering if he bought it, intending to refurbish it, but then didn't, or just let it fall down around him. He was clearly a hoarder, as well. Why didn't you reveal his name, if he's so well-known? Anyway, it takes a long time for so much ruination to happen. It's a weird combination of interesting period stuff and total yard sale crap, like the plaster lions and concrete gargoyle. And there's a fair amount of evidence of recent squatters. My mother used to buy old New England homes and renovate them, and she'd find just about anything you could name in those places: a 250 year-old Bible with the family's names in it next to new Christmas tree tinsel. The crystal light fixtures are period. They are typical of houses built between @ 1900 - 20. The big B&W is an Aubrey Beardsley print, or perhaps he copied the original drawing. The draped beds and ceilings are typical 1960s style! The plaster death masks are pretty cool, and the Balinese barong. That was an opium pipe you picked up, by the way. The harps are Celtic harps--different tuning than classical harps. In the temple, the long stringed instrument you strummed is a Chinese guzheng (I used to play the yangqin, a hammer dulcimer); the long-necked instruments in the corner area are both sitars, though the one leaning against the wall has no strings or pegs anymore. All the drums are from India, too, though they're found all over the area, as they're used in Buddhist and Hindu ceremonies. You found some Chinese coins, in there, too (holes in them). That pipe organ is gorgeous, and a bit fancier then many of those made for private homes. The brass and iron beds in the finished attic are typical of servants' beds from early 20th c, so I wonder if they were left behind because it was too much trouble to move them out. We had a fully finished attic in our 1805 house, which was where the servants would have lived. No beds left in ours, but we still had a proper ceiling! It's too bad the ceiling up there is gone, as it's going to speed up the destruction of the whole place. Quite a find.
As a designer myself I loved this house so much! And inspired me to continue with my art work, it seems he had a epic time at this house! Thanks for sharing with respect and kindness ❤
Believe it or not some people here claim to know who he is and one said she found his blog but she won't give anybody the name of his blog and some of us would love to know what he has to say and what he thinks and what he talks about .
Now that's a contradiction. Saying the house is insane, requires you to make assumptions about the artist and his mental stability. I would call that "getting into an artist's head", and making an unprofessional, unsolicited judgemental pseudodiagnosis.
I can’t believe this mansion is just sitting somewhere, hidden away, obviously in a remote area , Otherwise there wouldn’t be anything of value left ,because it would be stripped of anything the thieves could carry out of there.Hopefully this video will bring it to the attention of the right people to try to track down the owner or his family .So much of value ,should be in a museum.Really enjoyed this video ,glad I found your channel!

It's dope to see places like this. It makes me realize that at the end of the day, no matter what you got in this world, we're all just simple mortals. So, be a good person and respect others, no matter their race, religion, or whatever. Just be a good human being!
Love this sentiment!❤😊

That is exactly what I was thinking… kind of a “slap you in the face” type realization!!!
Can't take it with you. 👍🏻
This should be preserved as a museum. Hate to see art being destroyed.

Thank you for a rare gem of a tour. I have read some articles about the owner. One says he and his adopted brother were reunited. Such a beautiful home.
His brother was on display?
At the beginning when they enter the house there is a coffin there. They said that when the friend died, the friend was laid out in that house . Then the coffin was left behind when they moved the body to wherever it was buried. The whole thing doesn't make sense to me. So, what did they put the body in to transport it to the cemetery.
Sounds like a book/movie in the making....tragic love story and a decaying mansion
This guy had mental issues and it shows.
@@Zana-t6q I'm starting to think you are a troll from another channel. His family would never get on here and behave this way. Just stop before you are reported.
I too have several zebra rugs and a coffin.
What an amazing place!!! I can’t believe the house and items are still there!! Thank you for showing us
Hi from the UK.
Never ceases to amaze me how quickly homes/buildings deteriorate in just a few years....
This was falling apart far before 2019 as the artist has been unable to keep up his home for a while now. It was stated that snow was coming into the bedroom upstairs way back in 2013
Nature wastes no time In reclaiming her property 😊😊
What an honor and privilege to be trusted enough to Rome through this museum you’re a good Man Charlie Brown😊
,im so happy i finally found this very intriguing man😊 he's like un his 90s so that answer the question why hes not living this massive mansion...he's too old to maintain this house and lots of m9ney too.. as we grow older we loose interest of material things....other youtuber filmed this place and said it was 2018 when he last saw people living here and that the man lived here have a reputation
That car is worth $152,000 fully restored. It has a 2.2 straight 6 engine with fuel injection.
That's an awesome exploration find you found. I pray that no vandals find it!
Looks like a 220se yes? Rouch ones like tha are worth a bit less, but damn.

What was his name?
He’s still alive as far as I know
@@sarahksaunders The Blog I found he hadn't posted since about 2019 - But good to know he's still around.
@jfisher2370 there is an older blog and a current one! He updated one yesterday- before that it hadn't been updated since , I think September. He addresses these videos in the blog
@@Amanda-wc2tn Thanks - I'll take a look for the more recent blog. I hope he's doing okay. I imagine he's probably not too happy with the urban explorers giving their versions of things.
This reminds me of The House on The Rock. Near Madison WI. So unique, and definitely an artist's house. I felt when walking through the House On the Rock, the man was slowly losing his mind as you got deeper into all his rooms and collections. Crazy! This is a great find, loved it!
Yes! Exactly what I was thinking! I live near the House on the Rock in Wisconsin.
I'm from Madison Wisconsin ...this also reminds me of the House on the Rock!
I once read somewhere that most genius's suffer from some mental issues as they age, and/or drug addictions (including alcohol). But this guy must've been very energetic most of his life to accomplish all these incredible works of art.
I too have seen the House on the Rock. It really impressed me as creative.
House on the Rock is mostly filled with junk and reproductions.
@bigbankz actually blurred what others forgot to blur... As the magazine cover in the living room.....
@@skaazy What's on the magazine?
Hey oh tall one you are respectful of persons and properties. I stopped watching others who were not. Sometimes I hear my mind screaming please save that but your calm respectful way is the best⚓️💕
@Annie497 Oh, annie, you don't respect anything. You have stated several places in the comments, how this man's art is not art. That it's basically trash, and it wouldn't belong in a museum. Because you said so. 😂 You're a wicked little imp.
And he always asks if he should be corrected or if it’s something different. And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder as well as interpretation.
I wouldn't watch anything like it again then if it makes you suffer worse with anxiety!
@@karenspoors771 idk who this was meant for but I sure didn't have anxiety watching this video. 😆
28.33 I stopped at the painting right away and I felt energy. I saw two other faces in it. Ones on the ear of a woman with a hat on. The other is of a younger person in the eye. Great video guys.❤
Holy cow! This place is awesome! ❤️👍💪
I don't know what connections you have but these items need to be in a museum to be protected. Someone will eventually figure out where this is and steal everything.
Please report it to someone who has the power to do something with it and share this mans story and talents wuth the world. ❤
If black mold is present, unfortunately it’s all trash. So sad. So many awesome and unique treasures.
@@Zana-t6q the family didn’t care or it still wouldn’t be sitting there deteriorating.
@@Zana-t6q Oh, good!
@@Cheetoluvnot necessarily true. Since Banks said his companion and partner instead of wife, he may not have any heirs, nor did his partner.
I’m new to your channel and I Love the Bible verse at the beginning .
I needed this verse today to settle my soul , thank you for putting Gods word out there and God bless and keep you🕊️
This place has nothing to do with God, nothing
Wow, you know your stuff!! Artist’s name is Hugo Kellen. Never heard of him.
Thanks for sharing!
It's amazing that he just walked from everything.
I look forward to it,,hope you and your loved ones are well BigBankz😊
As a designer myself I loved this house so much! And inspired me to continue with my art work, it seems he had a epic time at this house! Thanks for sharing with respect and kindness ❤
First of all, I would never want to get into an artist head. This mansion is insane.
Believe it or not some people here claim to know who he is and one said she found his blog but she won't give anybody the name of his blog and some of us would love to know what he has to say and what he thinks and what he talks about .
And demonic
@@gardensofthegodsthere are plenty of clues to search with. Idk why y’all are so wound up. Google until you find it. Jeez!
@@sharonatlyou’re trippin! Hopefully the demons don’t come through the tv and get u! 😂
