Yes, this was the oldest restaurant I've been to! The canal ride was relaxing although it might have been better on a cooler day lol. This was also some of the best unagi I've had!
The canal tour seemed fun. I’d definitely want to do that and wear a conical hat like you did. 👍🏽 I love eel so I would go there as well. Do tell, with the traditional floor seating, how does it work for senior citizens or others who have a difficult time getting up and down from the floor and sitting on the floor? Do they just not go to places with traditional seating or?
The canal tour was definitely a great way to see Yanagawa. With the traditional seating, many Japanese seniors do well with it since they are used to it. However for those that struggle with traditional seating, most restaurants offer standard seating as well.
