Thats whats it all about having fun, I went to heaps of swap meets looking for stuff but nothing many times bumped into old friends and went home with sore legs
Hey mate. Sweet channel + vids. Whats your mechanical background? Professional mech, or just a DIY guy? Im looking to do a resto on something of interest soon, but only have done head gaskets, and have some UA-cam/book knowledge and passion for our beautiful Aussie cars. As its hard to get things done without being engineered/an engineer, is this stuff do-able in the home garage without experience/training? Cheers again mate for the awesome content!
I've never really thought about how hard doing something will be on a car. If you want to do whatever it is with your car, you'll eventually figure it out. No, I've had no formal training for what you see on the channel, but i am an engine machinist for my day job. As for vehicle engineering, it depends on what car and what modifications. For me it was easy with the HQ putting a smallblock chev in because a 350 was a factory option for the car. But later model stuff youl start having legality issues, especially vehicles with emissions gear if you want to go down the route of 100% legal.

@@Joedennett69 Thanks for the reply mate. Awesome to see the passion and the projects!
killa day forit
2:40 on a closed road somewhere in Mexico......
Some days you by half the meet
some days you only get sore feet
No bad days at a swap meet
how much do you want for the steering wheel on your ute?
I may need it to steer the car.
What carb are you running these days.
800cfm double pumper. Way too big. Works well, though.
@@Joedennett69 Is it a HP Holley?
