Us Dodge guys are a bit eccentric. The fun is watching the masses being surprised. It really is. How the hell did you make that Dakota handle that well. Damn!
Boyd Coddington timeless 6s in 17x11 all around. I bought the wheels off this truck and made two staggered sets. 17x8s and 17x11s and sold one set. I have MH 390 wide drag radials on the rear of my Dakota R/T with that staggered set.
@@brtsolowing quick and dirty measurement- 6.5 from inside lip to mounting surface on the 17x11. I don't know if the Hub to Hub width is the same on the 4wd. Their front suspension is different than my 2wd R/T. I think the rear axle should be the same width , even if it's not the 9.25" rear I have.
Awesome! Im working on setting up my truck to both auto-x and road race. Its always great seeing the guys faces in sports cars when you pass them in a truck.
Alexander Chavez looks to be about -24. But there are a few other factors that play in to that particular look. Such as backspacing and wheel width. As I'm sure u are aware. I found some 18x10 -24 wheels that look identical to this. Have not found an exact match as of yet. Probably something completely custom.
I would really like to use my Dakota R/T for road race events. I'm never comfortable driving for fun on the street, because any fool in a minivan can get VERY illegal before finding the limit, let alone an R/T on summer performance tires. Autocross is kinda cool, but the dynamics of the low-speed corners are quite different to road courses, and I prefer the higher speeds and more fluid pace of larger tracks.

What trans do you run? I have 46re. And it blew up and I don't flog it hard or do burnouts. , 116 ,000 lost it. Looking to rebuild but want it strong and for light track days. Three four times a year any ideas? Or places that are affordable. I'm in New Jersey. 1600-1800. For a rebuilt installed. No performance bone stock. So I'm sure it will blow up at 40 thousand
That standard cab weighs a lot less then 4200, I had to get my fully loaded 2000 club cab r/t weighed for dmv last year, it was 3980 without the spare or me in it, everything else intact.

the stock dodge 4.7L v8 6 speed manual lol
That is not a 4.7 or a 6 speed. That's a 5.2 Magnum with an nv3500 5 speed.

Mind me asking where you got the impression it was a 6 speed 4.7?
It’s a 5.9 and it’s 46re or newer .
i mean. That thing probably weighs 3200lbs and makes 300hp. back when parts for Dakotas were easy to get.
