Just had the missus come into see what the noise was 😂. Great watch and some lap 👍. Have an 81 and can't' see me ever getting rid of it, such a joy to ride, love it.
Hiya, outstanding riding, beautiful lines and a great smooth lap. I was the slower Replica Hailwood rider on your right and you passed me after the original start line after Agos Leap. I'd have loved to stay with and follow but you had the pace on me....and the video shows it. Beautiful flowing lines and showing the Hailwood doing what it's designed for. Congratulations.
Yes Stuart it was a great privilege to have the chance to do a closed lap, I have been going to the IOM since 1981 and riding the track on open roads, it was always way up on my bucket list to ride the track on closed roads if I ever got the chance and I enjoyed every second of it ! I particularly liked the riding through Kirk Michael at 100mph in place of the usual 30mph with cars everywhere...lol
Beautiful bike, and you are a great rider! It's very emotional to think the same (or so...) bike of Hailwood in the same roads of TT. Cheers from Italy from a nephew, a 1995's 900SS! Marco.
Brilliant video. Glad I've just found this. I have one of the first 500 which I need to get back together.. It was nearly finished about 10 years ago but went back on the job list, now needs stripping again... I raced in the Manx this year but wouldn't fancy riding an MHR around there without more ground clearance. Hope to finish mine next year.
Great watch. Solid riding. Love the mechanical sympathy you show right until the Glencrutchery Road when you knew you could coast home if it'd blown. Very stylish.

Fantastic video. I bought mine new 36 years ago and still own it. They're a wonderful machine.
I saw Mike win in '78 and was fortunate enough to ride a friends replica for a day around Devon... Brilliant. Now got a 999 as a result. 😏
Oh my! I can't believe i just found this video! I'd do almost anything for a MHR! And at IOM!!! Magnificent!
Awesome video. And that sound of the bevel, great!!

Awesome stuff! I love the view of the instruments!
Great stuff. Makes me miss my Pantah. I can smell the engine on the cool down. Lovely. Thanks for posting.

Awesome Awesome! It makes All the right sounds.
Great to see an MHR doing what it was designed to do and ridden hard. You can almost imagine Mike doing this.
