    I'm an idiot and should have watched this video first. This made it so much easier than the way I thought I had to do it haha

      I think lessons learned from mistakes are worth much more. Now you know what to do and not do.

    I’m sure glad I watched this before mounting my new tires. I was getting ready to use the headlock to clamp the tire down. Your way is much better.

    Wow wish I would of seen this before starting my third wheel. Haha I’ve been doing it the hard way. Didn’t even think about starting for the other side with less screws

      Next time, you will get it done in no time.

    EVERY TIME I see someone online doing beadlocks it looks so fuckin easy yet when I try to do it theres no fucking way in hell.

      I think most videos make it look like it's something that can be done in few minutes, but it is not. It does take a long time since there are so many screws, but if you take it slow, it's not too bad.

    So no loctite on the inner screws and just the outside set?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  Рік тому

      I have started to add blue loctite on both outer and inner screws as long as it's going into metal. If you have plastic beadlocks, then loctite should not be used.

    🤔Now will it be just fine if I use blue loctite on all the screws? Instead of just the first outer rim.

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  3 роки тому

      Yes, definitely. Blue loctite helps to keep the screws in, but it’s not permanent.

    Hey nice nice video Do you think the Beadlocks can fit on a traxxas slash?

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 роки тому

      I am not quite sure. I remember Slash having 2 different sized beadlocks where the inner had bigger beadlock assumming to fit the knuckle though.

      I'm running1.9 tires on mine with no problems

  • @stevenbrooks7776
    @stevenbrooks7776 2 роки тому +1

    what do you do when the back ring wont line up because the beed seems to thick. also I've had a problem with dual stage foams also as it seems the insert moves in side the tire a little bit, and it makes look real wobbly

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 роки тому

      Try using longer screw as a guide. I haven't had issues with mine, so it's tough to help without being able to see the issue. If you are using Proline dual stage foams, then due to the size of the foams it should not be an issue. Crawler Innovations tend to be a bit smaller, so you will need to make sure they are mounted center.

      I dont what bra d foams are they are a house brand. Are dual stage really all that great? As of yet I haven't seen any advantages

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 роки тому

      The benefits of dual stage foams can be seen during sidehilling. Keep in mind that there is a reason why most LCG rigs run dual stage foams.

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  4 роки тому

      Yeah, I use Blue loctite, and it works fine. I have not used purple, so not sure on that one.

    i thought the mark was to say "this is the outside of the tire"

    • @BigSungHobbies
      @BigSungHobbies  2 роки тому +1

      The mark is to note the compound, either G8 or Predator, in the case of Pro-line tires. The tires are not directional so you can use either way. Personally, I prefer it hidden, but I have seen others the other way...just comes down to matter of choice.
