I looooove watching these. 😂 Can you please do one of these on the Vatrer 6AH and 7Ah to see what the difference is and also if the quality is as good in their less expensive market as the teardowns of the big batteries? The reason I ask is I just noticed that virtually all of their Amazon reviews are from giveaways. 😂 The big batt teardowns look good tho!🧐
I was in market for 12v 10ah - 15ah battery (hope to finding one $100-$150) but until I started to watching your breakdowns… I won’t until you gone an A+ on sometime affordable! Living the video man! 👊🏼👍🎣🔥

@@jonnitzsche3495 not many at all. Usually when there is an issue, it's the charger but it's pretty rare
...and to think that I ALMOST purchased a battery very much like this one, from Amazon! Glad I went ultimately with an Amped 12ah battery instead! SUPER GREAT VIDEO!!! Thanks!

Great channel! I'm researching a 24v 50ah battery for a trolling motor. These RoyPow look identical to the Epoch brand, aside from case colors. I'd bet there was some reverse engineering and "design" being done by the PRC...I will pass on the RoyPow.

China actually has ice fishing. In someplace called Chagan Lake, in northeastern China. Who knew?

I’d start wearing gloves for the tear downs. I’ve been binge watching your tear downs and have now seen gooey stuff, white powder… exactly why I shied away from the cheap batteries on Amazon or allibaba. I ended up going with a bioenno. Have you done a tear down on one of theirs?
I have not but they have been around longer than about any other company. I do have them on the list.
That is proof that you get what you pay for and going cheap most of the time doesn’t pay off

Did you charge at 3a like regular lifep04 chargers. Looks like your charger cooked it. Was it running at 10a like the bigger batteries require?
I would have liked to have seen the inside BEFORE you attached your charger to it.

So the battery is a turd. Hard to disagree with that. Any chance you can share the model #/identifier of the BMS? I'm itching to build my own battery and want one with low temp charge protection.

Question, I have 4 10 ah made in the USA thank God and charging them with a 22 v 3 amp charger is slow, should I be using a 10 amp charger instead, I trust what you tell us that’s why I am not contacting DL on this. Thanks
The specs on their site says 10 amp max current for charging so I would say go for it.

My man, just because you think it's ABS and it's "melting", you assume they put acetone in it?
Smelled like acetone vapor smoothing. Maybe they cleaned the case with acetone before gluing the top on or something? I'm just guessing
