Great technic, however, what if i want to cover a round cake, like when the bottom of the cake is darker than the top side. i.e under ocean like thing from darker blue at the bottom to lighter blue at the top... Note-its a round cake.
I can see how it works but like everyone has said it's a long strip isn't going to cover your average cake. I would recommend airbrushing, quicker and easier
Triangle part looks a bit stupid, because you could just cut both colors with a diagonal and it work the same xd but thank you for showing the method itself o-o now would be great to find how to make a transition from center to edges of the circle X)
just add more triangles of each color. instead of 2 blue triangles and 2 white triangles use 4 or 6 blue triangles and 4 or 6 white triangles. I think it should work that way too
