I just started restoring old Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars and was turned on to Createx by a UA-camr that I follow. These videos are great for me and I really learn a lot from them. Chris, thanks for always keeping them accessible, understandable, and easy to follow. My Hot Wheels are looking better all the time!
Love the videos! Painting lures these candy colors has turned heads! I know you did a video on mixing olive paint, I’d love to see a video on candy olive! Thank you for making my craft even more fun !
Please check out the candy2o color-chart video, where 4653 Lemon Yellow over Wicked W359 Metallic Charcoal is an olive-green candy finish. Thank you. ua-cam.com/video/svPIxC1mUHE/v-deo.html
Nice spray out. The silver sealer & the charcoal metallic really looks good! 🔥👌🏾 all of them came out nice in their own right, but dang, those 2 colors won me! Im new to the channel, & i also subscribed! 🔥🫱🏿🫲🏾
For a murdered candy green, follow the steps set forth in our Murdered Candy video, substituting the reds with candy2o 4661 Emerald Green and Wicked W424 Hot Rod Sparkle Green. You may also find our Candy British Racing Green video helpful, ua-cam.com/video/sKMx01Q_mlY/v-deo.html. For a dark green candy, 4050 mixed 8:1 4661 Emerald Green works well. apply over Wicked W359 Metallic Charcoal. Thank you.
If you have a sprayout of a candy black/smoke over a dark gray color (selenite gray in my case) would love to see it.....car is about to go to paint and had a interesting ideas...to help blend the carbon fiber and paint into a nice flow with each other.
Definitely have the painter make a few test panels trying various metallic bases for 4664 candy20 Black. We like W359 Metallic Charcoal as a base for candy20 Black. This is referenced in our color chart/ catalog. Thank you.
Hello Chris, greetings from Peru 👋👋👋… as usual your videos are plenty of tips…I try to follow almost all your hints trying to improve my lures painting. I only use Createx paints (i have around 100 different colours, and I have a question for you, maybe you can help me. I saw a Japanese video and the guy used some “mica” paints (yellow, gold, orange, red, etc.) they seem like a metallic transparent paint. Thinking in Createx options which one should I choose? Thanks in advance…
Plum Crazy is a pearl color, and for a matte finish, apply a matte top-coat. Mixing Wicked W307 Pearl Plum with candy2o 4659 Deep Purple works well. Thank you.
W359 Metallic Charcoal is best applied over 6002 AutoBorne Sealer Black. 6013 Silver Sealer doesn't really enhance the effect and more or less works as a grey sealer for W359. In our opinion, Sealer black is the best base. Thank you.
Hey chris great job on making all the colors you do i really enjoy seeing your videos ...i have a question is there anyway to make a charcoal grey candy paint ....like a nice flaky metallic charcoal grey
4664 candy2o Black (mixed ~ 4050 10:1 candy2o Black), applied over W359 Metallic Charcoal. For added pearl-flake, add W420 Hot Rod Sparkle White, or W440 Cosmic Sparkle Silver. Thank you.
@@CreatexColors thank you so much for the reply i appreciate it once again a big fan ... maybe if possible you can do a video on this color i asked about ... great work many blessings your way ...
candy20 Black over 6014 Silver Sealer is fairly straight forward. Try a test panel mixing 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear 8:1 candy20 Black and applying 4 - 5 medium coats over Silver Sealer. Thank you.
@@CreatexColors thanks for the reply. It sounds pretty straight forward but I was more interested in the results. Is it going to look like a magenta/black color or it it going to be so black that the silver sealer won't even show? I'm looking for a metallic black .
Can I email you guys a picture of my wheels an see if you can make a touch up paint for this color the lip is black with a red tint mixed with the clear need 2 spots touched up on them
You can email us at techsupport@createxcolors.com for help matching the color using Createx paints, but we do not make factory-match, touch-up paints. Thank you.

Thats pretty close to that color I've been seeing on the new Accuras. I've been trouble trying to make that color
Great colours 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for watching!
Can you please do a longer video on the green candy? I'm trying to achieve a dark almost murdered emerald for my Road King

Just outta curiosity would you be able to turn Plum Crazy Purple into a candy even though it's a Matte color?

Can you add candy 20 brandywine to acrylic urethane single stage paint ? I see it's waterborne? Whatever that means
Make a test and see how it works. candy2o are concentrated dyes. All Createx paints are inter-mixable. Thank you.
Love the color! Any chance you can do black candy over silver sealer? I'm looking for a glittery metallic black.
