"PLC001 Roger, your re cleared to FL250.report passing FL260 "☺Descent managment, have loved and learnt alot in this module thanks capt for that great work GOD BLESS U.👍👍👍
I was based in Bergamo airport :) but what i dont like on this airport is little bit complicated SIDs and I hate ground manager, but it was in 2013 so maybe there is another one :)))))))
Excellent efforts, however...as I'm just learning the B737 system on MFS, your pointer movement is too rapid for me to keep up with at this point. Additionally, on the ILS approach: the localizer intercept is late and sloppy as well as the glide slope intercept which is within 6 - 7 nms., from the runway end. Any guidance to improvements, thanks
Is the top of descent that little green arch that approaches the aircraft location in the flight display? I never really knew about it. Sometimes, in other aircraft models what I see is a circle of dots which slowly close in around the aircraft location. I've got to learn more about it, but I'd like to ask when you should start your descent based on that indication.
Hey, the Top of descent is the small green circle along your magenta route..if you look close you can see the T/D indication that means top of descent..
Great videos, very valuable content. Thank you. A quick question: At what point do you read the descent checklist? I assume before the Top of Descent point? And at what point do you check the approach and landing checklists exactly? The approach at the end of the STAR? And Landing at 4.5nm before landing? Thanks!
Hey, thanks for watching!! I'm glad you like it!! Ideally the descend checklist should be done before the T/D, the approach checklist before starting the Approach, and the landing checklist shortly after you configure the Aircraft for landing...
@@PILOTCLIMB thank you very much for the swift reply. Incidentally, when does the approach begin? At the first waypoint of the STAR, for example? When is the transition from the descent phase to the approach phase? Thanks again
So, I will like to know why you are changing the altitudes on the mcp if you are descending on vnav? Unless the altitudes constraints of the arc are not on the fms then I guess I udnerstand. You are entering the altitudes as if you were descending on lvl chg. Please correct me if I wrong, just trying to get this right! Thanks again🙌🏽
Thank you captain! I have another problem in the flight sim. In a 737 NG when you hand fly an approach with A/P off and A/T on then the A/T should retard the throttles at 27' RA, and then A/T should disconnect 2 seconds after touchdown. But when I leave A/T on in my flight sim it does not happen, when I flare, the A/T advances the throttles, and the aircraft continues to float above the runway trying to maintain VREF spd., as the FMA annunciates MCP speed, and not RETARD. 😂😂😂 It is quite funny though. Do you have the same problem in your flight sim? Can you pleases check it for me?

You are more than welcome! I hope the video helped you!
Yes capt i had alot of problems around that area but now will keep reffering to the lesson incase am confused.
@@captsonko.9345 That's great!
Another great video as always. ✈✈✈✈
Thanks for watching and the kind comment!! 👍
Thanks for the video. Perhaps the best on UA-cam! 👍👍
Many thanks for your kind comment! Really appreciated
Always good learning experience....

Hey, many thanks for watching! Yes, they have these SIDs and Transitions... I'm sure the Ground Crew is great now..
Thank so very much Captain
You are more than welcome! Thanks for watching
More descent and approach management videos, please!!!!
Many thanks for watching and the comment!! I'll do more of them

What simulator are you using? Where you speaking to an AI controller or actual person ?
Prepar 3d using IVAO for online ATC
@@PILOTCLIMB IVAO.. Ahh.. Thanks

Nevermind commander, I just saw thag you were in fact on lvl chg. All is clear thanks again, keep up the good work
Why heavy aircraft needs more track miles and it is hard to decelerate?
Hey, heavy aircraft cannot dive as much as light aircraft because otherwise the speed will increase very fast..
