I hate that she died, but that scene, for me at least, showed that Thanos wasn't just power hungry. He REALLY believed in what he was doing and the good he thought it would bring. And it broke him when he came to the realization that he would have to sacrifice the only thing and person he'd ever opened his heart to. She asked what it cost, and he said everything. SHE was his everything, and it broke him that he felt he had to give her up for the "greater good". That why he ended up completely isolating himself after the snap.
@@everythingeditscreator6508 Yea, that's true. It's possible for someone to be two things at once. So despite what he believed, he was at the same time power hungry during he quest. In some scenes when he was talking about the benefits the snap would bring, it seemed that he felt he'd be glorified once everyone came to their senses, so to speak. But I think that outlook was dashed when he killed Gamora, and from that point on he had to finish what he started or she would've died for nothing.
Thanos is one of the most touching fathers I ever encountered including this video. Maybe sacrificing is wrong, but all the emotional moments they have been through is better off remember them as our beautiful parent and children story.
