Well he did mention to cap in age of ultron, he wanted to try the simple life.
I think by this point he was done with living the high life as a billionaire CEO. He got married and had a daughter, so now he has bigger priorities than his ego and image. He wanted to settle down and enjoy life in peace with his family.
Kind of a step down for him.

No he got his mind wiped he always had his white picket fence and everything was always awesome bc his doesn't waste time with stories she creates perfection from the beginning even gym work everything was lies but it's there's going to be an apology to me. In person even though everything is awesome bc I created a husband who treats me right from the start bc I never waste my time only do things in person nothing exists yet I'm so grateful it's my beginning no bible either nothing it's all stories that we don't need be I created perfection in Jesus name amen yaaaay it's trui I can't lie I'm god everything was always awesome why pretend it wasn't learning is supposed to be fun not garbage wasting time right live or fdir I like living or why bother existence 😂🎉❤

Huge props to the writers, to Lexi Rabe (Morgan), to RDJ and whoever's in charge of handling child actors, the father-daughter bond here comes across as so genuine and sweet.
Lexi Rabe should be playing Iron Heart in the MCU. The Russo Brothers kinda ruined the MCU in alot of ways.

@killerwhale213 True, but he was also hesitant about going through with it. This wasn't like in AOU, where Tony didn't consider what could go wrong. He knew that he would risk his family if he went through with it. If anything, Pepper gave him the nudge he needed.

I think she is the cutest little girl and a great little actriz. I love when she tells her daddy , "I love you 3000." Whoever thought of that line was genius!!! Hope she continues acting as she grows up. It is the perfect job for little Morgan.

I like how Tony's idea of an anniversary gift is an Iron Man suit, which Pepper probably doesn't really want. It shows that he is still really bad at getting Pepper gifts, like the giant bunny from Iron Man 3.
It's a shame that we'll never know what Spider-Man would have been like if he was acting like a big brother towards Morgan Stark especially after the messed up ending of Spider-Man No Way Home

Well to be fair his dad was never there and his mom was in his life, but very distant, so Tony probably made up his mind after witnessing his parents demise at the hand of winter soldier that he’d be a better father than his dad was even though we know how it ended rip 😢😢
Tony had everything he needed it still try to help the rest with their plan just to save everyone else including Peter. And he sacrificed himself to make it so.
This scene mlted everyones heart. Such a cute kid and as far as fathers i can't think of a better daddy than tony.

Ironically, after Loki. Scott's Back to the Future plan isn't as laughable anymore considering the end results of altering a timeline even just a slight.
Tony was right, he did have his second chance. He would have lived happily with his wife and daughter, and he would be there for his child unlike his. He knew if he did save the world, the chances are he wont come back along with others, or something worse would have happened. Him being a real hero and participating and erasing Thano's army was the biggest sacrifice. He knew he would die, but he did it for everyone on earth. He avanged it.

Why does Tony Stark have a daughter in the MCU since he did not have any kids in the comics? Also is Morgan Stark supposed to be his successor as Iron Man or whatever she calls herself like Iron Maiden in the future?
Because comics and the movies don’t have to match. Having Tony settle down with a kid gives him something to fight for and possibly lose, there’s personal stakes. And as for Morgan’s future, she’s still too young to know. Tony’s immediate successor though is likely going to be Riri Williams aka Ironheart, who was introduced in Wakanda Forever

Solely just because Tony didn't want to undo the past 5 years? If you had a daughter who was born after a universal tragedy and you had the chance to rectify that tragedy, would you truly do so at the cost of possibly erasing your daughter from existence?

@@cjkalandek996 and how many babies literally starved to death in their cribs because their parents blipped? How many people committed suicide because they thought their loved ones were gone forever? How many people were killed because people they were with blipped (i.e. planes crashing b/c pilots blipped)? Not to mention all the suffering and death that would have resulted in supply chain disruptions from half the world disappearing. Legit, the more you think about it, the more it becomes clear Tony forcing the Avengers to not try to reverse those 5 years was royally messed up and a lot of blood and death is on his and his daughter's hands.
