I took away that stupid air restrictor, that pushed forward de dart in the chamber, but I afraid to do it at the beginning. Now working fine. Thanks for the video, man!
Hey man! Love the video and it was extremely helpful. Was just curious to seeing where you got the springs from/what they are called. Looking forward to doing the same to my fire strike. Cheers🤘
You didn't place the firing spring back in place properly. its supposed to be held within the spacers behind the plunger tube, instead its sticking out and pressing against the catch.
Yep that could do it. This was a couple of years ago, and I recall having to reassemble it off camera a couple of times. Also the weight of the spring is probqbly too much, it actually exploded a few months later after the cumulativr effect of the springs snapped off most of the case screw bosses. Such is life when you modify things out of spec I guess.
@@TheAussieRepairGuy lol didn't realize how late to the party I was. Thats nuts it exploded on you! How unfortunate. Oh well we always learn from our mistakes.
@@Demonanimator In this case it was an experiment in how overpowered I could make it. I may have omitted that part to keep the longer spring too. it was fun either way with no love lost at the end. I have designs for my own flywheel nerf gun design that have been on hold for years while I deal with multiple sclerosis and it's complications, and of course my growing fleet of military vehicles.
You are such a lifesaver with that spring installation technique, thank you man

I got them on aliexpress, i haven't done one in a few years, I don't recall the name.
Can you fit a 9kg spring or is it then gonna break?
I find 7 is about as heavy as they will handle, the 9 won't stay latched.
if you were to fire a xshot airpocket with this you could blow a hole in drywall
Yeah it packs a punch now lol
