      Totally agree. Hired a Model 3 for a weekend. Everyone in the family was blown away by how quick it was, how fun and easy it was to drive. One pedal driving is so intuitive I was comfortable using it after ten minutes in the car. I finally concluded that true luxury is getting out of a car after a long drive and feeling as fresh and relaxed as the moment you got in it. Hated giving it back.

      @@martingahan2267 I’m smiling !
      I nearly didn’t buy one , because the press were so negative about the ride + handling!
      But now, I frequently drive from Warwick to the Algarve in my Model Y . I love it.

    I just took delivery of my Model Y here in the USA, and I can easily tell how much better the gaps and overall fit and finish of your Giga Berlin Y are compared to mine! The German build quality is already clearly showing, very impressive!

    Hi and thanks for an experience even though it was filmed with a phone :). Am in the same situation as you when I have a model 3 from 06.21 and test drove a model Y. If I had not needed more space and 600kg extra weight on the towbar, I would not have changed. My wife and I have only had VAG cars for the last 20 years and as you say, they are far behind and if you want something cool, it's an old GTI or Porsche. Last car was Touareg and EV was an egolf and a good quality car but, too small range. Waiting for our model Y in July and will be sad and say good bye to model 3 when we really should keep it long and spent a lot on as PPF and equipment. When we ordered model 3, it was not possible to get information when Model Y would arrive in Europe. Thank you for a nice video of model Y and thank you for the old video of your E-tron which meant that we did not order it :) Greetings from Norway.

      Model 3 VS Model Y is an hard choice I recon But at the end, they’re so similar that you will get used too very quickly. Congrats on your purchase.

    I have a MYP and my wife has a M3P. We love the cars … Ride is a bit stiffer on the MYP but the handling is better than most performance SUVs. Its crazy how much lower the M3P is. I need a ladder to clean the Y. Space is much better in the Y.

    I actually felt the suspension was better. I did not feel the road bumps the same way in the Model Y compared to on the Model 3 Standard / Long Range or Performance.
    Also i feel road noise, is lower in the Model Y.

    • @WiZe1972
      @WiZe1972  2 роки тому +1

      Road noise is indeed less pronounced on the Y, partially due to the double glazed rear windows. Suspensions are stuff on both 3 and Y but I felt they were more on the Y

    Hey Wize. Great informative video as usual. Thanks! I've seen everyone hype the huge panoramic roof on the Model Y. But what Tesla has done is to move the beam that's located mid ceiling on the M3 to the back of the car on the model Y. It also seems like they've made it bigger. It really messes with the rear visibility.

    That's a very unfortunate bumper scuff!!! One if the main issues even on the newest Chinese built cars, they still had an awkward panel gap where the Frunk lid meets the bumper, that Y looked flawless. I don't love the model Y, but the performance in black is fire!! 🔥🔥

      But it's big inside, and footprint almost too big for much of Euro. I prefer to drive a smaller car when possible. The Model S looks like an oversized sled on many rural American roads, too darn wide.

  • @Mrbfgray
    @Mrbfgray 2 роки тому +1

    Gorgeous opening setting.
    Y is Model 3's plump younger sister, not ugly not attractive.
    Y and X are much homelier than S and 3. 3 is nice, all are subtitle and will age well, only the S ever really looks eye catching good. Dramatic styling ages fast and useless aesthetics look stupid. (fake or oversize grills) Some squawk about lack of differentiation between old and updated versions--I LOVE that! S has become subtly but significantly improved, both S and X substantially (beyond style) improved.
    Porsche 911 had decades of similarity and usually looked good for it's day all the way.
