On the one hand, I feel sad that Varangian guard are simply useless, but on the other hand, I feel relieved because I still remember the dark times when thery were first released.
big thing is that you keep on cancelling your animation during axe swap, when you first swap to axes the first attack is the same attack as your first stage axe ability so you can get it off twice in 1s but you are cancelling it immediately to use the first axe ability and miss out on their highest burst because all subsequent axe abilities have 2s cd.
They decent but need to take away rage and the cooldowns on their skills they suffer because there’s a lot of units that have a ton of burst and VGs don’t they are fun to play especially in blobs
After seeing this video I just realized how hard it is to test Units. If you do it without Doctrines it gives you a rough overview, but it's also not realistic to have no Doctrines. Further more Doctrines can make a difference, I played the Varingan Guards in the last week and if remember correctly sometimes won against Paladins or traded Units.
bruh the animation for first skill not even do any damage and u press next skill asap so that varangian just done 3 skill damage instead of 4 , but varangian realy need a buff
this unit when its ben out have gotten so many nerfs cuz they were too OP THEY COULD WIPE ANYTHING WITH JUST A BUTTON PRESS!!! now they are barely a glorified blue unit....
waiting for the author to understand why tests without doctrines are completely useless.....( shhh, don’t tell him that in a normal game the probability of meeting a player without doctrines on his units is close to 0)
You are really stupid no offence. This is a test 1V1 to see how good the unit is not in a "battle" where evryone got doctrines and improve the unit by more then 50%. If i put doctrines on it their power increase and that's not fair for the test animal.

Yeah without doctrines testing is better to see how they are.With doctrines unit can change drastically.
Devs be like buff gold units nahhhh we gonna make a blue unit best unit in the game. Or add masteries that don’t matter to serfs

They're not that good anymore... you'll need to go full dmg with doctrines to get some decent results
