When I was a wee lassie back in the late 1950s, my dad would drive us there and we would always stop and do experiments. I can't remember if the reason was known back then but it was a lot of fun. There was another road on the way to the west coast, where this is, that was called the Dip Road and we loved to ask my dad to drive fast over these dips and we would rise out of our seats. No safety belts back in those days and also a lot less cars. It was such fun but, alas, the road was fixed a few years later to my chagrin.
We love April Fool's Day. You will fit right in over here.

Yeah ive been there, its pretty cool, blew my mind. It does freak you out a little, lol. But its cool.

it is an optical illusion, i was driving through france on my way to spain and had the same affect, i felt as tho i was going down hill, but i was having accelerate to keep my speed up, what appeared to be down hill, it is a strange feeling i will admit
I've been to Largs, where the Electric Brae is located, but I've still never been to the Electric Brae! Largs is a nice town, and is home to some of the best ice cream in the country, which is an added bonus. Something Scottish you should check out are our fire festivals, like Up Helly Aa, Beltane and Stonehaven Fireballs
The Electric brae is near Culzean Castle just next to Croy shore
If it was the middle of the night you wouldn’t be able to see the landscape, so it wouldn’t work.
