Norfolk is a really lovely place to relax. As stated in the video the Broads were created many centuries ago by people, they look natural as they have been there so long. There are some in neighbouring Suffolk too. As well as hiring boats you can also go on trips on boats with tour guides on them. Suffolk is similar to Norfolk and worth visiting.
There are some lovely lavender fields near Hunstanton worth visiting especially in June or July when they are in full flower.
I have even seen some traditional Meadows in Norfolk too.
I live in Norfolk my family from Ludham just out side Wroxham. You can only go 3 miles a hour. All these are on our door step. My son had a boat great for chilling out and fishing, At Wroxham, Horning you have the paddle steamer for the tourist ,a trip through the Broads, much cheaper then hiring a boat. Loads of other beautiful places to visit, pity she did not go to Ranworth beautiful place, or Acle a village were fortnightly country auction sales. Love living here! Nearest city Norwich, if we want the city life also very historic.
Iv had 3 holidays in Norfork, 2 in a boat my brother would sit on the roof reading the FT and getting sun. We all got very sun burnt on both hols but we are Scottish so we are eather blue or RED. We had a water rat come on board so so cute. I have a problem being in such flat places.Noridge is lovley stunning Cathedral, we would take the boat into the center. The fact we went many times showes it worth it and just look and at amazing cottages and houses on the banks of the broads aome are thatched.
Kings Lynn has the best fish and chips on the front.
I was born in Norwich - it's a beautiful city - and now live in North Norfolk. The coast & Broads can get very crowded in Summer, but it's lovely in spring & autumn.
I had a great holiday o the NorfolkBroads when I was a kid. Before going, I read my Dad's log from his trip when he was a young man. During the holiday, we saw the boat he had stayed on.
Did they always have the ice cream boat?
@@NAIATHEDRAGON No, that's a recent thing. When I was there in the 80s, there was nothing like that.
Had holidays in north Norfolk and a boating week on the broads. The county below Norfolk is Suffolk and is our favourite part of the UK. Southwold, Warberswick, Aldeborough and Orford/Orford Ness all recommendations.
Norwich is my home City
My mother-in-law lives in Winterton-on-Sea (my hubby lived there for 8 years before moving up to Glasgow before we got married) and it is a lovely village. The beach is great, well what you can get access to, as the sand dunes are very quickly disappearing due to erosion. A lot of houses in the nearby village of Hemsby have disappeared over the cliff edge or been demolished before they go over the top. Greetings from Scotland 🏴
Norwich is my home city... Norfolk is an amazing county.
I enjoyed this video on Norfolk and learnt a lot. Thank you.
